The amount of room in the van

Cons:

The car would accelerate on it own, the brakes were bad, and when I called hertz about the rental having issues they wanted me to drive 3 hrs to use another van and cancel part of my vacation. The customer service was sub-par

Great service on both ends. Car was great and fit our needs perfectly. It was only half full of gas but that was noted and when I brought it back full, the Rep took $40 off of my fee.

Tried to rent a truck, called and spoke with sales rep-confirmed reservation. Following day called to confirm it was towing capable, was then told could not be rented through them but needed to go to the York Pa truck division-fine. Called them and reserved Arrived at the appointed time, did all of the paperwork, supplied Drivers license/proof of insurance and major credit card. Was told then I could not rent from them as my credit cards and drivers license names didn't match exactly-um no they don't recently widowed. They refused to accept any card and not a cash sale business. Went to U-haul- they were happy to rent without hassle. I will not attempt to use Enterprise again.

Cons:

Couldn’t adjust my overcharged car. I need to contact customer service. Why have an attendant anyway? Have a kiosk if all they can do is take the keys and print a receipt.

The car itself had a chemically clean smell, which was okay, and indicated that they do clean the cars, but there were some spill stains at various points around the car. I also felt like I wanted to take the vehicle to a car wash. I chose the “hertz picks” option for which car I received (which made the price better for me) so I expected it to not be a top of the line car. Overall it was a good option for my needs, and I would choose the same deal. The staff, and drop off/pick up procedures were easy and safe! 😊
