They should've told us that we couldn't rent a car instead of making us make reservations to come back the next day wait 2 hours just to tell us in 2 minutes that we'r couldn't rent the car due to the creditThat we'r didn't get a car

Vehicle wasn't available. Kept me waiting until 6:15 pm then asked me to come back next day to pick up the car. They are horrible with clients and had to call the 1-800 number but they couldn't fix the problem so they wanted to set me up with another reservation at the airport x 3 times higher va.

Car smelled like smoke, attendants told me they all do.Drop off was easyCar smelled like smoke, asked for a different one and attendants told me they all do. Weren't too nearby location next day and they didn't have anything to swap out but have me number got another location. Called there and got sent to call center who told me to drive to each location to check inventory for a swap.

Customer service was not good.Don't rent from a third party if you think you want to change drop off places. They will not let you do it no matter what, not even if you are willing to pay extra for it. I had a pickup time for 6:00 PM and they closed at 6:00 PM. So I had to pay $56.00 more for a rental car at the airport for 1 day. Never again will I rent from Hertz! Pus, I called customer service and the lady hung up on me.

Pick up was a messI searched to pick up at MCO, but the pick up was offsite. They couldn’t do anything for me but create a new much more expensive booking.

Did not have any power for a 2017 car my wife was scare to ride in it to change lanes in Flordia you can't not go 20 mph n get in another lane or get on highway . The price was good but didn't not drive only about 160 miles in a whole week there we rode with my daughter because my wife was so scare of the car

Orlando airport gas station accessThe economy car was just that bit was fine.I planned to refill the gas myself but having never been to Orlando airport wasn’t aware there were no gas stations within five miles. Too late to go back for gas so got a huge charge from Hertz.

Worst rental experienceSUV was clean and drove goodAfter booking flights to Orlando, I was on expedia to rent a car, which then through me over to kayak. When it was showing me all the different places and offers, I selected Hertz. When we landed in Orlando, we went to Hertz and the person helping us said that our reservation was for a different location. She told me it was about 3 miles away. I asked if they can change that there and she had no idea. I asked why would I want to pick up a vehicle somewhere else when we just landed at the airport. Went outside, found a cab, gave him the address and it showed it was 17 miles away and about 30 minute ride. So my family and I got in the cab and headed over there. Of course by this time I am very ticked off, once we got to the location that the taxi's gps gave him there was no Hertz, just a small strip mall. We drove around alittle bit and finally asked a security guard in a car if he knew. Turns out it was at the Toyota collision building, they had a small Hertz logo in one of the doors. By this time it is now 1 1/2 hours since we landed and when I went to the Hertz rep, he asked if I was returning or picking one up. Told him we were suppose to getting a SUV. He replied with, I have no vehicles here right now. I thought he was joking but turned out to be true and that there was 4 other people ahead of us waiting for a rental. NOw I am really pissed and get a phone number from the rep, to call Hertz customer service. of course I was put on hold and waited 20 minutes with now response. It took til 7 pm, 3 1/2 hours later after we landed to get a vehicle and it was the wrong vehicle. It was a pickup which wasnt going to work for us. So I had to go back to the dealer in the morning to exchange vehicles. I dropped my family off to Sea World at 10, and by the time I got the SUV it was no0n. THen finally to return the vehicle Hertz wouldn't let us take it to the airport without paying extra so we dropped it off, UBERed to the airport. In all I wasted 5 1/2 hours on Hertz and had to pay $65 in cab/uber fees to get to my destinaion. I will NEVER NEVER give these fukheds a dime. Not only will they not appoligize but will not refund anything to me. I have told everyone I know who travels my story and they will not use Hertz again. I hope this place goes under. James
