Rented a car in one state and returning it in another state. The car given to us was so stinky of smoke - I was told that they had a no smoking policy. As we were non-smoker, we were happy to hear of the policy but little did we know, the car smelled so bad. We drove with window down even it was cold, and we had drive 71/2 hours in one day, second day was another 6 hours. Not the most pleasant experience. The staff was nice, but the car was not.

I picked a Toyota rav 4 to reserve it online for only one way trip but when I got there in Hayward to pickup the Toyota RAV4 the lady said you are late & we cannot hold the vehicle after 1 hr of opening , so the lady offered 5 vehicles left to choose from , they are family vans & luxury cars , they are more money to rent , on the spot had to pay more to rent the vehicle. Picked up the van it was dirty . I paid $163. Just for one day rental plus refundable $200. For insurance. Quite expensive if I say wouldn’t u think . I asked if there was a discount, the lady said no . So is it my fault because I am an hour late to pick up the car? They did not mention in their website to pick-up on time and they will not hold the vehicle. Really, I had such a horrible experience with this company. I don’t recommend to anyone.

Nothing. I cancel the rental and went direct to the rental car company.

Kayak you changed my card I payed ok I get to Hertz deposit ok whatever drop off hidden fees when returning the car payed double never never going to use your app scam

Quick and easy pick up and drop off. All I had to do at pick up was give them my name, and everything went smoothly. The only suggestion I would make is, ask the customer if they would like a short demonstration of some basic functions of the vehicle (i.e. lights, have you ever driven a vehicle with push to start/stop? etc.)I realize some of it is common sense, but...

Cons:

Staff Alex was not pleasant at the Hayward Mission Blvd office, kinda rude and condescending. Didnt even show us the features of the van. it woukd hqve been better if they rented the actual car they advertise on their site.

Cons:

I was not allowed to drop the car off at a different location. It needs to be more clear that there is no option for that before it is purchased.
