The staff was excellent!! They bent over backwards for us and we're very pleasant! It smelled heavily of smoke in the hallways, always a large group of loitering smokers at the entrances. Our room smelled musty all the time. Hallways littered with pizza boxes and dirty towels. There was no fridge and no microwave in the room. No Gideon Bible either.
The hotel had a very welcoming feel when we walked into the lobby. Our room was also very nice and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Much better than most of the other hotels we've stayed at! The only downside was that our room didn't have a mini fridge or a microwave. Since we drove in from Chicago, we had brought food and drinks with us, only to find that there really wasn't any place to put them or keep them cold.
Bed was very comfortable.Great pool and outside sitting area. Pillow in the bed were small.
Friendly staff Gym Pool Clean room Beds were uncomfortable Bathroom was VERY small
The staff was very friendly. The hotel was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We recently stayed at the Crown Plaza Downtown St. Louis and this place was way better than that. Thin walls, but we probably noticed that because there was a dog next to us barking. Owners weren't in the room to control it either. But we were understanding and didn't complain. We could also hear the people above us walking around. I am a heavy sleeper though.
Great value for the money. Excellent breakfast buffet. Excellent beds and bath facilities for the money. Fairly new construction.
New Bed, Clean room. Freshly Renovated. They had a problem with overbooking due to a leak somewhere. The handling was completely botched by the GM who has serious people problems. I will never go back to avoid the possibility of seeing him again.
The cleanliness They did not have a pool but there was a pool closed
Nothing They would not let my 19 year old check in and no where on the site did it restrict that.
I liked the location. The staff was friendly and courteous. Nothing
Easy access off highway. Restaurants next door. Fairly good deal price-wise. 20 minute drive into St Louis. Nothing worked. No TV. No real Wi-Fi access. Staff not sympathetic. The toilet bubbled and burped while sleeping. Area not pedestrian friendly.
great space, looks much better on the inside than the outside. Water pressure was a little weird; it was higher than expected.
That I'm no longer staying there. You get what you pay for. It is a bare bones shoebox to lay your head down at night and run from in the morning. Towels were paper thin. Sign in driveway said 'no semis' but there were two in parking lot overnight with motors running. Sink was poor.
great room no room service
Close to the highway, convenient to a quick breakfast (plus providing their own free one), exactly what I'd hope for and expect from this hotel.
Wonderful For the price. It was clean and in a safe location.
It had a refrigerator and a microwave Where do I start the towels in the bathroom were filth they weren't even white anymore they were light brown the tub water didn't drain properly the heater in the room did not work properly went to the front office after calling repeatedly they was not th
The was room beautiful. Better than i expected. You do have to walk a little to the ice machine. The front desk clerk wasn't pleasant, her attitude was frustrated & tired of customers coming in. She needed help & it showed.
Staff members were very friendly and accommodating! Door did not close tightly, sink was leaking. Walls were dinged up. Rooms are in need of a face lift!
Accommodating to early check in needs Pool open later than most hotels Clean, welcoming lobby Staff was helpful when we needed extra towels/linens Room was booked for 4 guests and we weren't provided with linens for the pull out sofa, we had to call and ask Dog owner a couple rooms down had 2 yappy dogs and clearly wasn't worried about disturbing other guests. I am a dog owner myself and am pro dog hotels, but I can definitely see this person ruining peoples stay.
We requested a non-smoking room. We checked in and were given a key to room 109; the door had a sign on it saying it was a non-smoking room. I didn't even make it in the doorway; smelled like FRESH cigarette smoke and like ashes were ground into the carpet. We then requested another room and were given a key to room 101. This one smelled like someone's wet dog had been in there. Requested a third room, got 207 and this one was decent.\nStaff was accommodating; we were as pleasant as we could be under the circumstances, but this was disgusting.
We (my family of 4 including 2 teenagers) stayed here just one night, but would be happy to stay again! It was a very nice, clean room. Beds were queen size & very comfortable, and they had a fair variety of foods available for breakfast. Was greeted very warmly upon arrival Elevator made transporting luggage to room much easier than most other hotels we stayed at on this trip. Definitely worth what we paid!
The desk clerk let me go into the pool early which I appreciated. The breakfast was average but good choices. It was nice and quiet which I appreciated as well. There is a strong chlorine smell when you walk in but the pool is just off the lobby so that's understandable.
This hotel was centrally located and very easy to find. The staff was very friendly and we would stay at this location again.
VERY HELP STAFF. CLEAN ROOMS AND LOBBY, I AM A TRAVEL AGENT AND I THOUGHT IS WAS A GREAT HOTAL, AND A GREAT PRICE WOULD STAY AGAIN.
Everyone who worked there was very nice, and they seemed to know many of the guests who must be repeat visitors. However, the property in general was just not clean. From the ripped carpet in the elevator, to the mildew in the tub, to the ants and other bugs in the room it was not a comfortable vacation for me. The free breakfast was on par with other hotels, but the covered tray for the pastries had the same smudgy fingerprints for several days, and on at least two occasions the floor was not vacuumed after meals, leaving crumbs for the next day. The hotel was in a great location, but if we return, we will stay at another hotel at that same exit (there are plenty to choose from).
We had 4 couples staying at this hotel. A wedding party returned at 1am and partied in the lobby. The desk clerk did nothing to lessen the noise. A 2nd floor room left on the bath water, our 1st floor bathroom was flooded-the desk clerk brought towels and never checked back. The manager said ''he will make it better on our next stay.''
The staff at the front desk was super friendly and very helpful. The rooms were clean, well stocked, quiet and comfy. There is a room with a computer for free use. The pool is small but sufficient. Breakfast was good. They had all the basics, plus fruit, and a waffle station. Over all a good value for the money. I would stay again if I needed to travel through that way again.
The hotel was not an important part of our weekend stay in St Louis to attend a wedding. We got what we paid for - nothing much to write about. Others attending the wedding stayed at The Hampton or La Quinta and had much better experiences. We were being economical and there's a sacrifice in pleasure.
Front desk friendly and helpful. First room I checked into had a dirty bathroom. I called down to desk and they immediately offered a new room and brought up the keys. The 2nd room was seemed reasonably clean but the longer I stayed the more I noticed the built up grime. The walls and carpet needed a thorough scrubdown. I mentioned this to the front desk upon checkout. I would stay here again if necessary b/c it was one of the least expensive hotels in the area. My non-smoking room was truly a non-smoking room and the floor smelled smoke-free as well. Breakfast was marginal - decaf wasn't hot and mostly sugary stuff to eat but they did have some fruit. Staff was pleasant. Pool looked clean but I didn't have time to use it. Fridge and coffee pot in room worked fine. No microwave in room.
Extremely clean! The mattress was a little too firm for me.
The breakfast was nice. No
Everything about our stay was wonderful. None
Rooms are extremely clean. Breakfast is above average and the breakfast attendant kept the area stocked and clean. n/a
Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Advertised that they had a hot tub and they do not.
The location was very convenient The days I was there were during a major heat wave. The air conditioner never got the room cool. I kept turning it colder and colder, but it didn't make any difference. I was never able to feel comfortable in the room. Big negative!
Clean Beds toooooooo soft

great breakfast & location to everything in Collinsville. very small pool. Was a lot pricier than others in the area but it had the last available rooms
I stayed there with my son for 2 nights. The staff were so friendly,t my friend felt they were his friends and he needed to say goodbye before we left, the pool was clean and warm so my son enjoyed swimming, the breakfast was good as well.
Close to everything we did! No
Loved the wood flooring in the rooms. Was able to see my car in the parking lot from the room. Staff was very friendly. Sandra Preston was the guest service rep who went above and beyond to make sure my stay was the best. Their was no hair dryer in the room but I brought my own so that wasn't a problem.
Friendly staff, clean and good location. No microwave, fridge and wifi not included. I've stayed at cheaper places and been offer more amenities.
Everything was nice. Everyone was friendly. The room was simple but clean. Located away from the city but within a short drive to everything. No water pressure in shower.
One of the beds had a 3 inch sag left to right because of collapsed box springs. Visually you can see something is wrong. Why wouldn't this get replaced?
The room was clean, modern, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel has a restaurant and bar on the lobby with pretty late hours so it was convenient to grab dinner after a long travel day without having to get back in the car. Its not the cheapest option but you do get the better experience that you are paying for. But you wont find free breakfast or some of those others freebies a lot of other hotels have.
The location was convenient to shopping center and restaurants It smelled like cigarette smoke in the lobby and elevator
Closeness to restaurants and shopping. Close enough to St. Louis for easy access but not close enough to be expensive Shower had no pressure
The front desk was friendly and helpful .The location is very good. There are at least five restaurants... (Applebee's, Joes Crab Shack, Olive Garden and others)... , one movie theater and a mall that are in walking distance ( less than three city blocks). And many more stores, fuel stations, restaurants, pubs, grocery within a short drive , 5 minutes or less. Its about a 15 minute drive to downtown St Louis . The price was a bit high for a two night stay but after talking to the staff I reserved a much lower weekly rate for my return trips.(Less than $50 a night) The rooms are small but comfortable and kept in good order.
Great staff. Very clean. Free breakfast was great. Breakfast area was tended well on most days. We stayed a week and were gone from hotel most of the time. Always came back to a clean room and friendly faces. Both times I stayed, there was confusion on check in and room assignment. I called a week in advance of stay to double check everything on second stay and there was still issues. Staff was very helpful though and all workout in the end both times.
Hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. I was impressed that the continental breakfast had hot food. It was great! Could not access side doors with a key. Was unable to access pool area. One of the reasons I picked this hotel was it was quiet and off the grid...and also had an indoor pool. A little disappointed. Overall, i will recommend your hotel and likely stay there again.
We stayed there to visit family and we had a great time. The facility was very nice and the staff was friendly and courteous. Nothing comes to mind
It seems the staff have never dealt with reservations made through third parties.
Extremely clean and friendly Coldest pool in history. No hot tub as web site promised. Only reason I selected this hotel over others. Mattresses like bricks.
The bed is nice. Big, comfortable The heater/AC would warn the room fine, but we noticed turning the temp down didn't turn heat down. It just kept warning room. It was warmer than I think the temp seeing was. Had it at 66 degrees. That finally turned the machine to stop blowing warn air.
the front desk was great, the room was SUPER CLEAN which i appreciated no
Very clean great hotel room

It was clean and comfortable, and only 15-20 minutes from Busch Stadium.
The person at the front desk was very kind and helpful. I was not feeling well when I arrived and she pointed out that they had some over-the-counter medication in stock at a very reasonable price. Saved me a trip to a grocery store!
Clean and have a pretty big beg the sink to small
Very clean and fresh smelling. Quiet rooms and comfortable bed. Breakfast was very nice with many options The pictures showed a hot tub, but it has been covered over?
The staff was very informative. No
The room was clean, neat, and the bed was amazingly comfortable!! Not really
GREAT LOCATION / GREAT ATMOSPHERE / EASY TO FIND / NICE ROOM GREAT BREAKFAST / OVERALL EXCELLENT STAY LIKED EVERYTHING
I like the fact that the room is big This people try to charge me twice for the same hotel. They took money out of my credit card without my permission. Do not stay at this hotel. The stuff for not know what they are doing. Poor poor services
