Jeff, Mar 2025 - Comfort Inn & Suites Kansas City - Northeast
The room was clean and properly prepared, although the heating and AC unit wasn’t properly insulated and was letting in the freezing cold air from outside so we had to manually operate the heat throughout the night (thermostat didn’t work due to the cold outside air). Some of the room items are due for replacement (rusty bathroom lighting). The staff was very friendly. The continental breakfast ha...

CASEY, Nov 2016 - Comfort Inn Kansas City Midtown
Pros (+) conveniently located in Crowne Center. Near Power & Light. Otherwise, VERY little good to speak of here.
Cons (-) Hotel is rundown and in desperate need of an upgrade. Hole in the wall behind doorknob, haphazardly spackled over. Iron+ironing board hanging off of wall, screws falling out of old drill holes. Bathroom was clean enough, but because of out of date fixtures and water damage to the walls/ceiling, it FELT dirty. Bedding had cigarette burns in very old sheets/comforter. Pillows were flat and beyond th...

Pros (+) It was clean, the front desk was helpful and caring. They made it simple to check in and out. Recommended a few places to eat. The room was nice and quiet. It was a good place for the price we paid. Breakfast was kind of the norm. Nothing special. It was close to where we needed to be.
Cons (-) If I had to complain it would be that I sounded like a herd of cattle walking down the hallway. But really otherwise I have no complaints

Anonymous, Jun 2016 - Comfort Inn Kansas City Midtown
Pros (+) Good used refrigerator and microwave.
Cons (-) Upon entering the hotel, I noticed the lobby door was wide open, along with all the lobby windows. The date was June 3. The high for the day was about 82 degrees, and it was quite warm in the reception/lobby area, but I thought nothing of it, until we started walking to our room, one the second floor (220). All the hallway windows were also open, and just as warm. This is in the middle of Kansas C...
