Pros (+) *The night staff was lovely and accommodating. Shout out to Blake for letting us borrow his power cube and to Johnny for lending us a a screwdriver & a screw to open the wine! *The housekeeping staff was awesome. So sweet, always smiling, very pleasant. *Room was clean and well appointed. Plenty of towels and a lovely fluffy duvet. *Price was insanely reasonable. *Breakfast area was kept clean. *I...
Cons (-) *Blake was not the nicest person ever as day staff. My exchange with him was short, terse and I felt like I was interrupting him. In all fairness, I ran into him later and he was much nicer. *From the check-in counter, you can clearly see a "Hillary for Prison 2016" bumper sticker on the manager's door. Regardless of affiliation, in the hospitality industry, you should make everyone feel welcome. ...

Dan, Jan 2017 - Comfort Inn Southwest Fwy at Westpark
Pros (+) I liked the price. I got a king bed room through hotels.com for less than $80 all in. There's a Shell station right next door, so I filled up my rental car before leaving for the airport without having to make a separate stop for that.
Cons (-) The ice machine on my floor didn't work. The vending machine had both Coke and Diet Coke, but the sample can they had on display for regular Coke was silver and looked for all the world like Diet Coke. I wasted my last $1 on that (I'm diabetic and don't drink regular Coke) and, wouldn't you know it, the front desk said they had no change for a $10 bill, so I never got my drink.

Pros (+) Ice and vending machine on each floor Staff knows what a do not disturb sign is and does not knock on your door if its out.
Cons (-) Day staff was rude A dark skinned woman that worked the afternoon/evning shfit could have carried less about anything or anyone and had a flat affect Hispanic man I believe his name was James was will make you feel bad about asking a question and then go so far to prove his point and when he is wrong he hides in the back office I also went to him when my husband (in a different state) extended my ...

Pros (+) Location is very convenient to many locations for sight seeing and restaurants. The bed is very comfortable. The staff are super kind and patient.
Cons (-) We had to change rooms 4 times. First one the toilet seat has urine stain, second one was right up against the ice machine that goes off like a jack hammer every 5 minutes, third one was facing the highway very noisy, finally the fifth one worked out. If you like quietness you got a be picky where the room is. The downside of convenience often is noise.
