Because it was a Hilton, I thought it would be a step above the average hotel. Plus it looks grand and beautiful from the lobby and the rooms appeared to be spacious and clean. Pros (+) Seems clean and the staff ate helpful.
Cons (-) We stayed on the second floor and there was a strange noise all night. It would only last a couple seconds. Never could determine what it was.

Pros (+) We originally got a room that was non smoking, but as soon as we walked in, it smelled like smoke. My two young children could smell it as well. I immediately went to the front desk and talked to them about switching our rooms. Without hesitation, they did. They completely understood and emphasized on the situation. The front desk lady was very professional. She is an asset to the Hilton.

Cons (-) The whatever million dollar renovation the website lists - was not enough million. The photos provided on hotel websites are excellent but not a true testament to the hotel condition. There was mold in the shower (multiple places) and mold on the window frames (multiple places). The tubs were not resurfaced correctly and are rusty and peeling. The towels were frayed. Pros (+) The staff are very helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and quiet, and I got the best sleep I have ever had in a hotel, usually my biggest complaint about hotel rooms. Perfect location, will definitely be back!
