Brand new, lovely hotel and a superb Garden Inn. Comfortable and crispy clean. Nice staff at the bar and check in. Easy access from Hatton Cross Tube stop. Read a review that transportation was bad and have to agree. Expensive at GBP 4:50 each. Worse yet was the SURLY, RUDE, UNHELPFUL CRETIN that drove the bus. Awful.
friendly staff, convenient location
The Staff were friendly and very helpful. Food is great at reasonable prices, everything looks smart and well organised. it is right next to the tube station which was convenient. The rates are low and you get much more than you expected for this sort of price. the breakfast was great and plenty of choice. Basically I would use this hotel again if I am in the area – very pleasant stay.
Checkin was quick. Food at the bar was good (see also what I did not like) I picked the hotel because of the name, I stayed in excellent Jury's Inss before, also because it was (said to be) close to the underground & heathrow, Only at the exit there was no indication where the hotel was located, and the hotel was not visible. So I had to ask around, before finding the hotel. It was a bit farther away than described. At check-in they told me the restaurant would be open until 22h30, and gave me a key-card for my room that did not work. When coming back down to the restaurant I was told it closed early, so I had to go to the (overflowing) bar, and had to wait to get a seat. My room was close the the elevators, and poorly insulated, and I heard the elevators moving up and down,and stopping at my floor all night.
Location The hotel was very noisy and the housekeeping staff kept slamming doors keeping us up. In addition we asked a server about the menu and she rudely told us to ask someone else and walked off.
My wife needed to see a GP and they quickly called one out for us. They were very helpful.
The bed was inviting and clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was lovely! I didn't have a computer with me so was grateful I could come in free of charge to write an email. There was nothing I didn't like.

The concierge staff were very helpful and friendly,but something need to be done for the check in and check out front liners. We checked in on 25 \nov 2010, arriving about 10 pm plus from Paris enroute to scotland, the check I staff was not very friendly. We checkd out early morning on 26 nov 2010, the check out staff was also not friendly. A simple eye contact would have been helpful for the hotel management.
close to the airport for our departure home the next day cost means to make our own coffee and tea mini refrigerator nice sized bathroom had to walk along way down a hallway to access an elevator to the 2nd floor and then had to walk back down another long hallway there was urine in the toilet in our "clean" hotel room and the TV was all ready on - it left us wondering if our room had really been cleaned no extra pillows or blankets
Close to the international airport with easy access to cheap shuttle bus service. Rooms were clean and heating/cooling easily adjusted. Staff were friendly and good with children. A good menu for kids. Rooms are very small, even for overnight stay. There is no lift so luggage must be carried up two flights of stairs which is back breaking if your traveling overseas with a large load. They claim to be 4 star which is a bit of a joke... More like 2 1/2 to 3 mainly due to the fact it is dated (looking worn), lack of lifts to upper levels and lacking 4 star facilities. WiFi was a bit dear. Most places in this pricerange where we stayed offered free WiFi.
First off I couldn't book the room through the hotel. I was forced to book with third party online. My bathroom had flooded when I had taken a shower, due to the shower threshold. I had upgraded my room simply just looking for a king bed. The only room available was a sweet which had cost me 275.00 pounds. They only compensated me 50 pounds for a soak and wet bathroom that I had to mop up with all the towels in the room.
The food was great, and the service terrific too. Doors a bit scratched up.
Relatively clean I chose the hotel because of its supposedly superior pool and fitness room, but they closed right after I arrived. Why would an airport hotel close its facilities at night?

Location, lounge 1.the hotel could not find my kayak reservation so I am Not sure that I paid the kayak rate, in fact there is a good chance but I was charged twice and I'll have to find some way to reconcile this. For some reason the kayak reservations were not acceptable for their confirmation numbering system, the staff acted like they never seen a kayak reservation. 2.none of the hotel had internet access whatsoever it was down all night. Only one staff was manning the concierge desk and with the internet down the line was very long, yet it seems like the staff didn't put 2&2 together....perhaps you should increase the number of people at the concierge desk when the internet is down. At times the concierge would just just disappear I think probably hoping people would just disappear as well. Myself and another guest helped ourselves to the concierge desk computer print out our boarding passes for flights. 3. the entire hotel smelled like smoke despite the non smoking room. 4. the television didn't work in the hotel room and looked quite dated even at the kayak rated this hotel is not worth the money
What a great location. As a weary traveler it's nice when everything goes smoothly. Staff was very accommodating .
Comfortable room and fast internet and ease of taking the public bus system 5 minutes to the terminal cannot be beat. Hair in the bathroom and in the tea cup suggested it did not get cleaned well, and about a 45" wait to get checked in made the stay less than ideal. Both are probably one-off issues though based upon reviews available.

Close to airport, clean and upgraded rooms. Dinner was very good and the breakfast buffet was great.
Big lounge, helpful front desk service. Discounted pricing relative to other hotels in the area. Outside decor and current renovations give very poor first impressions. Room was typ Marriott-type accommodations. I'd recommend spending the extra $10+ to stay elsewhere if possible, but would consider again at same price range when renovations are complete.
Room is Comfortable and modern. Lobby and pub/bar very spacious and comfortable. Endless corridors and small rooms for such a huge hotel.
Location This hotel is old and not very clean. I am surprised that Marriott has let this hotel go this far in dis-repair. Not worth 200 USD a night.
Location Service in the restaurant was very efficient and friendly We were not informed that the hotel is going through a TOTAL renovation. We were initially placed in a recently finished room. After a real ordeal to get there, we found out that our room reeked of chemicals (gave us a headache within 5 minutes and watery eyes), still had some construction debris and the bathroom door handle was not installed. Had to carry all our luggage back and had to be moved to a different room.
It was totally fine for an overnight stay at an airport hotel. The pull out couch was actually more comfortable than the beds themselves. The air-con did not work in our room and they gave us a small fan to rectify the situation. The front desk staff was also very helpful on the phone, but never followed through with the requests we made.
The staff in reception is really rough, especially some guy from indian or middle east, ask the staff to let me join the novotel club for 3 times, but he did not anything and lie to me.

Good service and a decent room. Free wifi. Overall, I was there for 2 days before I left England so it served its purpose. Check in was supposed to be at 2 pm. I got there around 3:30 and still had to wait about 15 minutes before getting my key.

Location adjacent to M4 -good for connection to London but tube connection better than bus routes. High taxi fares in the locality because of this High taxi fares-charged £28 for 7 mile trip.
Lovely hotel and grounds and yet a comfortable feeling I found the 'extras' a bit expensive - £18 for a glass of champagne and £4 for a local call for example. We had a private lunch with friends in the Boudoir at lunchtime and stayed overnight (ate in the Terrace) and paid out a tidy sum all in all, so I found that some of the charges were a bit excessive - the £209 charge for coffees (on top of the meal) at lunchtime was a bit high!
The reason we chose cliveden was because we had visited the house and grounds previously and the house and the grounds are spectacular. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. a stay at this hotel represents abismal value for money, cliveden as a hotel only survives due to its spectacular location. At nearly £300 per night I would expect at least some things to be provided complimentary as they are ith other hotels, ie there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room and only two small bottles of water provided, for this rate I woulkd expect a fruit bowl and full drinks facilities. Although the staff were mainly friendly (there were only one or two that were stuffy and slightly condescending) ther is a culture at cliveden of expecting substantial tips, I do tip, and I tip for good service, however I feel slightly uncomfortable when I am given no other option than someone carrying my bag witha tip expecte

Room was exceptionally clean with excellent facilities. location was good for Windsor. Reception and room staff excellent. Would book again despite bad experience in restaurant. The service in the restaurant was very poor. Starters and mains were brought to the table together and after we requested main be taken back, we then waited 15 minutes before in was returned after starter was finished. Restaurant was not busy . However, waiter was very apologetic and did not charge us for the meal.
Amenities Too expensive
Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The showers were very difficult to use and we had to change rooms because the shower couldn't have pressure and heat at the same time (something about being too far from the main pipes).

Check in was clean and efficient. The place appears at first glance to be running very well. Getting a meal was a fiasco. The restaurant staff informed me that the kitchen was running a "little" slow only she forgot to add the inverted commas. The standard of food when we finally got it (had to threaten to leave) was very poor. The up side was I didn't get billed for the meal but I would have gone out if the hotel had been honest and said they were not able to serve from the a la carte menu that evening.

Comfort and cleanliness of room. Staff very attentive. First impression on arrival in reception, staff efficient and friendly queue dealt with efficiently. Room well equiped and bed plenty of pillows and clean.

This is boutique quality hotel with new amenities, at an amazingly low price. They do this, by offering small, but very nice, rooms with single beds. Its about a 10-12 min walk from the Hounslow East Metro station (4 stops from Heathrow), which isn't actually that bad. Fare is 1.5£, taxi is 20£ or so. (Turn right when you exit Hounslow East.)
It was close to the place we was dining at that evening. The fact that the room walls had stains on, the carpet had stains on, no proper ventilation to the room, it was under construction which was not mentioned to me before i went there!
noisy, outdated, slow internet and stil wired access (despite high speed written in the room), minibar empty, TV not working, temperature too hot and unable to sort out. I will not come back to this hotel anymore in the future.
We were attending a family wedding in Maidenhead. It was easy to jump in a taxi to the hotel from the railway station and within walking distance of the town centre. Good for families as the hotel has a swimming pool and a steam room & sauna for the adults. Good breakfast.

Location near lhr was very useful to us. Room was very comfortable. Check-in was a disaster, as we were not told where to find the room. We were told the room had two bedrooms, when we had booked two separate rooms. We eventually got our two rooms but it shouldn't have been so difficult after a tiring day.

It was local to where I needed to be There was a lot of noise from staff filling and emptying bins early in the mornings directly outside our room (approx 7:30 both mornings) The cost of drinks and refreshments at the bar/lounge where exspensive (£5.50 for a glas of wine!). I can see no reason why this should be so much more than a standard Bar/restarunt.
breakfast was good apart from cup of tea having floating oily bits. shower was cold in the morning so we complained to staff along with other couples in our group. Staff confirmed they had problems but did not offer any compensation or reduction in our bill. Also it cost £9.70 for 2 vodka and cokes.........ridiculous prices. Also hotel did not think we were entitled to breakfast as aprt of this deal but our voucher showed we were so they had to send 2 breakfast vouchers up to our room after checking with management.

Clezan, mostly quite quiet, ideally located for Heathrow / m25 For the second time in succession it took nearly an hour to check in as the Active Hotels Booking had not been received by the hotel. Required phonce calls to Active Hotels to resolve. Not what you need at 7pm at night after a long flight etc etc.
Very nice hotel, and served my purpose well as an overnight stay to be close to Heathrow for an early morning flight back to the States.Nice and quiet, even though it is so close to Heathrow. Don't know who's fault, but when I arrived, hotel had no record of my reservation. a little scarey, as I was being dropped off by my parents, after a 5 hour drive from South Wales, before my flight the next day, back to the us. After probably 15 minutes,the receptionist made a new reservation,and all was well. The other thing that was not good, was that I did not get my 6am wake up call, which could've made for a bad situation, as I was catching a plane! Also, it was not easy to get to off the M4...got lost and ended up on the m25!!

Hotel staff generally good. Room ok, but sink drain a bit slow! Hotel could not find my booking on the system at all - I.E. no record of the Active Hotels booking. So check-in took nearly 20 minutes whilst we sorted out a new booking.

This hotel is a large 'function' commercial style hotel. well trained staff, executive room not inspiring and not executive quality.
The hotel felt a little tired, the greeting from the hotel desk was cold and unwelcoming. The bathroom, we were in their best room, was small with very little space to put anything. we spent an hour or so in the hotel bar but left due to limited choice of wine, at extortionate prices - I certainly would never stay there again.
A good location for the road networks. Restaurant food and breakfast good. Staff helpful with directions to the nearest tube station. The lift decor could be improved; looked worn out.
It was the site of a special dinner we were attending and the fact that the dinner and our accommodation were on the same site was a great advantage It is a small point, but I would have like more biscuits on the tea-tray! Enough for afternoon tea, and tea in bed the next morning.

The bed was very comfortable and the room in general was very spacious. Staff were courteous and professional and the choice at breakfast was impressive. The corridors are a bit like a 'rabbit warren' and difficult to locate room.Television required better instructions on simply being able to watch basic channels (button 1 didn't give you BBC1 etc).

Relaxed atmosphere, good food and efficient staff. The excellent poolside atrium closed at 10 p.m. -- a pity because it was a very pleasant place to sit and relax after dinner.

Good location for an overnight stay near Heathrow airport. Good breakfast and dinner buffet. McDonald is across the street. Transportion to the airport via Hoppa shutle (LB 4.50 each way). Walk is 5 minutes to frree city buses to the airport .
Being so close to the airport was convenient since I had a early morning flight. There wasn't free wifi and access to public transport wasn't very convenient.
The room was nice. Large and comfortable with a great tv. Bathroom was good size and clean. Most staff members were friendly. False advertisement. Wifi was £15 a day when it said it was complimentary. Fitness center was a JOKE and the pictures on the hotels website should be taken down. Staff in dining room ignored us multiple times so we decided to just order room service. The price of the selections offered was ridiculous even for a hotel. I also informed kitchen staff of a food allergy I have, was told a dish was free of my allergen by three people, and later had a reaction from that food. Educate your kitchen staff on common allergies before you seriously harm someone. We heard doors slamming all night long. We were up all night and miserable the next day. I ended up moving to a hotel that was more expensive and lower quality for the next couple of nights.
Good sized room Staff could not find booking, had to wait a long while even though I had my confirmation with me. Room was incredibly hot all night even though we had the coolest setting and highest fan setting on. Rubbish nights sleep and long queue at check out the next morning.
Great Value for money!
Beds were already arranged to accommodate my booking no issues, good comfortable beds and good food. I thought I had booked breakfast with this reservation but that turned out to be extra

It's a great location for me and as long as you get a decent rate, not bad value. I would never pay full rate! The rooms are very comfy and there is plenty of parking. The air conditioning did not work and the room was very, very warm. Food/wine is too expensive I walked into town and found lots of better value restaurants. £2 card charge & £1 charity donation added to bill without asking.

It's a nice clean Hotel. Hotel is in middle of no where. Although its still close to Airport but more firther away than other hotels. Dont get confused between Arora International and Arora Park.
Two small gripes...1)some shoe cleaning wipes would have been appreciated 2)Please stick a 'Lift lid' label on the kettle cupboard.I got grumpy when I learnt I had to read a room operating manuel before I could heat a kettle!

The rooms had good quality beds and the external noise (heathrow airport) was not intrusive. The resturant was poor. The English breakfast tasted of Indian Cuisine and was over priced. The main menu was in reality limited to Indian food however was reasonable quality. Again it was over priced however.
Friendly staff. Clean room. Plenty of hot water, good shower. Swipe Card that took on average 8 goes before registering. Soft bed leading to backache. No biscuits in room. No restaurant.

I found the lack of facilities ridiculous for a 4 star hotel. Surely, due to the lack of amenities in the local area, the restaurant should have had more than vending machine food as an option?! My room was dirty and I have come away with bed bug bites. It's a shame as I have stayed at other Arora hotels and have had excellent experiences.
It is relatively close to the airport. It is very quiet. It has easy access to public transportation.
No instructions were given on use of room card to activate the lift. The checking in staff were not competent of the use of the computer. No instructions were given or displayed on how it was necessary to lift the top off the cupboard to make the kettle work
spacious family room, complementary breakfast as art of package there was a wedding reception with v. loud disco right next to our room and on the patio in front of our room, which we weren't told about beforehand. Even when we arrived we were only told of there being a reception, and not about the disco. My three children and the two of us subsequently couldn't sleep until after 1a.m. because of the hideously loud music, and it really spoiled the weekend. Had we refused the room upon arrival we would have been liable to pay the room fee regardless.

Absolutely everything! It was excellent from the moment we arrived as a group on business to the minute we left the hotel. The staff, rooms, restaurant were beyond expectations. I will definitely stay there again if I get the opportunity to take my husband. Nothing I didn't like, but two of us didn't get our early morning call - not a huge problem as we were already awake, but worth mentioning!

The hotel IS NOT AT THE TERMINAL 5! I was traveling by myself with 2 little kids. Bought it thinking it was right at the terminal, convinient location I thought... NOT THE HOTEL IS GOOD 15min FROM THE AIRPORT and you have to take a bus and pay for it too!!
Hotel was fine but location of this hotel shouldbe madeclear at booking. Myself and several others booked Hilton Hotel at terminal 5 thinking it wasHilton Hotel at terminal 4. Hilton Hotel at terminal 4 has direct access tosubway and shuttle busses to anywhere, Hilton Hotel at terminal 5 is in fact not at terminal 5 but quite a ways away requiring costly shuttle busses or taxis. Shuttle busses also do not run to terminal 3, but require taking a bus to terminal 5 and then another bus to terminal 3, or the expence of hiring a cab to get you there
