Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location
Room was not clean (hair in drain, spiders), and mattress had springs and was not comfortable.
Place is quirky. Elevator says weird things for each floor you stop at.
Pillows were awful, beds were hard, and overall room felt tired. Like an old man with a newly ironed yet dated leisure suit from the 70s with a ton of self confidence. And I got no cookie when I checked in.
Funky decor was our favorite thing about the Curtis. Warm cookies at checkin was nice but we'd have traded this for other amenities. Good location (great restaurants & bars) but most were unavailable to our timing, as we were goin to a night Rockies game.
Parking was $38 for one night! We had thought we'd save at least some money on parking for game by staying downtown. Definitely not the case! And we WALKED to Coors Field! As funky as the hotel was, it is still just a basic sleeping hotel. No real frills.
The location is great.
The entire hotel smells like sewer gas, or like a grease trap that has not been cleaned. It permeates the entire hotel, the bar and eating area, and especially the parking areas. It's disgusting and unacceptable. I would encourage all to avoid.
Nothing. So glad when I left
Staff is not helpful or they don’t even acknowledge you. Didn’t receive a complimentary water or cookie upon check-in. Staff is too busy ignoring you even if you’re standing in front of them. For the money you’re paying, stay somewhere else. The elevators smell like pee and it’s trying too hard to be quirky and different. Not worth your time when you can stay elsewhere. FD probably has to be the worst with valet a close second and housekeeping will do the bare minimum for you.
