Cons:The rental car office was impossible to find. The signs are small and located on a side street. There wasn't information given to inform us of the exact location. We called Dollar several times before drop off to figure out exact location at Nice railway and no one answered. It took over an hour to locate and drop off the car and keys. Very poor experience for someone who rents cars frequently in the states. They don't walk through the car drop off with you to make sure everything is ok before you leave them the keys.
Pros:That how it was all organised.
Cons:I have not been initially properly informed that I need to add to the total price an insurance cover for 3x rental price. I realises that at the airport. The man at the airport rental service was rude and aggressive.
Cons:Car size we requested was not available. We ended us with a huge van which was difficult to park and manuvere around the small streets/parking spaces.
Cons:Inexpensive, fast service, clean car friendly people. Loved it!

Pros:My car was ready for me when I arrived in Aix-en-Provence and it was in great shape. I was very happy with it.
Cons:The return process was not so simple. The garage to return the car was difficult to find at the main train station in Nice, France. I had to circle around the train station several times. A little more information on the location of the rental garage would've been helpful.
Pros:The car was fine.
Cons:The car was made available via Herz. They did not recognize the rental as agreed , because it was with a different company (Dollar). They did not allow a 8pm dropp-off unless I bought their insurance (more than doubling the price). I had to pay for overnght parking and bring the car the next day. I bought insurance when booking the car, but Herz still had me sign liability for €15,000. In case of damage, I would be charged by Herz and would then have te try to claim crom the insurance. The resulting argument was a very unpleasant experience for my wife and daughter.
Cons:We had the driving license in one name and the french credit card in another, this made the rental impossible.
Cons:I have paid 27 EUR insurance, but when I arrived at the Hertz Desk in Nice The lady asked me to pay an insurance, as for her, the one I paid is unexustant. Instead of paying 82 EUR for the total rent, I needed to 160 EUR in total which was above my budget
