Pros:They tried to make me rent a 4x4 in Denver for an additional $75 a day after I already reserved an All Wheel drive. At first he acted like it was mandatory since I was going skiing, but then when I inquired further, he then back down and said it was "suggested". The guy was obviously trying to manipulate customers into spending way more money than the original reservation. For all of going skiing in Colorado and renting a car, Just know: you do not need a 4x4 unless you're planning on going OFF ROAD. The interstate and state roads are well kept, even in snow storms. Don't be fooled into spending $400+ additional Charges.

Pros:Car was great.
Cons:We were not offered an option for coverage for the toll roads when we rented the car. I had no idea there were toll roads in Denver until we took a turn and realize we were on a toll road. I called Budget the second we entered the toll to see if there was a way to add an option to have the tolls covered as part of our rental. I was told that was not possible. I then tried to pay online directly (as you can in California) when we realized our error. There is no way to do this. I know that now I will be charged in the neighborhood of $70 EACH (likely over $140) for the two toll roads we drive on for about five minutes. This is a very deceptive practice and likely illegal given that we were NOT told about the tolls or offered the option to cover them, which I gladly would have taken. We will be filing a complaint with the Colorado Attorney General's Office, along with hundreds of others that have also filed apparently.

Cons:took 1.5 hours to get out vehicle in Denver. Long lines and not enough personnel to accommodate.

Cons:They only had 1 car to select from in the B and C sections, that I was told to pick from. I was only notified at the counter about the $350 deposit and the $37 charge for tolls.

Cons:Worst experience I've ever had with a car rental agency. Rented car through Kayak for $130.00. When I left, I was charged $535.15. Went to Hertz car rental (who owns Dollar) and was give a rate of $118.50. I returned Dollar car 30 minutes after renting it. Female employee was extremely rude. Asked for her name, and she responded by saying "I don't need to give you my name."
