Pros:The first agent we dealt with was very nice and tried to help us when we unexcptably found out about a $350 charge that would occur.
Cons:The manager was rude and didn’t want to help out at all. Was like here is where it says you could get charged up to $350. kept saying it was a deposit but it was an authorization fee given by the credit card company. He didn’t want to help us at all and seemed put out when we asked about it. Then when we were leaving with the car the agent at the checkout booth lied to us about gas prices just to get us to buy gas from them. I understand meeting a quota but there was no need to lie about gas prices. She informed us that gas around this area is all over $3 and they had the lowest priced gas at $2.62. We declined saying we wouldn’t driving that much and we found gas for $2.45 less than 5 miles away where we were staying.

Cons:listed cost - $92. actual cost - $304. Very unhappy with the long list of fees and charges.
Cons:Windshield wipers were worn out and I had to replace the battery in my key fob.
Pros:very slow due to understaffing. Took 10-12 minutes to process each customer and there was only one sales person.
Cons:Car provided was a VW. Very poor driver ergonomics for a rental car. Door lock mechanism which also served as gas door opener was damaged and missing. Could NOT refill gasoline for car. Will REFUSE to rent another VW again.

Cons:I paid for the rental car in full, plus insurance and the under 25 fee. After spending $30.00 in Uber fees to get to the airport I check in to Dollar Rental and they tell me that I am unable to rent the car because I do not have a credit card. Yet for some reason they had no problem accepting my payment online and nowhere did I see that I must have a credit card to rent with them. This was my first time ever renting a car so I did not know I needed a credit card. The worst part about this (besides having to cancel my trip to Chicago just hours before I was supposed to be there for an event I had a non-refundable ticket to) was that Dollar refused to refund me anything! I will never rent with them again.

Pros:Great value and very clean vehicle. Held 7 easily.
Pros:Staff not helpful-no one was there when I dropped off the car. I couldn’t get a receipt and they charged me $65 and given that I already paid Kayak, I don’t know why I was billed.
