Cons:That return wasn't at airport. Was off site.
Pros:The vehicle was great.

Pros:Chevy Cruze is a nice vehicle.
Cons:Double charged for intercity transfer. Also charged for a second driver without informing me of the upcharge. It is necessary to scrutinize your contract at the counter as this company will add additional charges seruptitiouslly. Very unscrupulous. I would avaoid this company and its deceptive charges. Since it is a subsidiary of Hertz, I would avoid Hertz and all of its affiliate companies
Pros:The Malibu was very clean, new and reliable. The customer service attendant was agreeable and helpful. Tried to up-sell, but that is their job. Overall a very good experience.
Cons:Kind of a surprise that it was hybrid, I think. Only found out when the car stopped running when standing still and then restarted when taking the foot off the brake. Visibility out the side and back is not good but one can compensate.
Pros:Customer service was very good.
Cons:The windshield was dirty on the inside, hard to see out. The gas tank wasn't full.
Cons:When I selected Dollar, I selected "pick up truck or similar", however when I got to the desk, they said I had selected compact car. I argued, and the guy told me I was wrong. I showed him my Kayak email confirming the vehicle type, and I was told it was wrong.

Cons:When I got there I was told that I couldn't use a debit card. OK fine so I gave them my cc, and I asked her to confirm with me how much she was charging. I expected the amount I booked on this site, but she quoted me a price $50 more!!! After asking why did it change, she said it was for insurance coverage. I asked if that was optional and she said if my own insurance company would cover me then it is optional. So I called USAA and of course, they said they would cover me. So I have the CC and I have insurance. For some reason, the lady got hostile all of a sudden and said she tried my card for the $69 I originally booked and it declined and it locks my card out the system for 24hrs! I've never heard of that process in my life especially when I more than enough for a CC limit. How are you doing business if you are locking peoples' cards out a POS system for 24hrs at a time? She caught an attitude and refused to try my card again. I can only assume it was because I declined the insurance option in which she would probably have benefited financially like a commission of some sort. I'm just a guy trying to get home, so I went with AVIS and they took me right in and I got home safe. No issues at all. Dollar was outrageous, and she was very unprofessional and rude. DO NOT go to old lady with the red hair and glasses. She will leave you stranded! I won't ever be recommending or using Dollar car rental for any reason.
