Cons:Customer service level in dealing with representatives regarding car issue.
Pros:The staff who I interacted with were all pleasant and helpful
Cons:First there was no clear signage on how to get out of the rental lot. I drove around the dark corners of the lot looking for a way out. There were some awkward unmanned booths, and I had to drive around for a while before finding the actual exit. There were a few signs, but on the whole they were inadequate and hard to see. On returning the car there was a clear sign on where to turn off the main road to get to the Dollar return, but then the signage stopped there. There were many parking lots, more unmanned booths, but no clear signage on where to actually go. On my quest to find the Return site I encountered many other people wandering and U-turning with me. So I wasn't the only one. I finally pulled into another awkward parking lot and had someone honk at me to stop where I was. It turned out that that was the actual Dollar return site. So the signage at the OHare Rental car lots needs improvements.
Cons:Too hard to find where to return the car in ORD
Pros:The car we received was as expected and very clean. The drop off was very easy and quick.
Cons:Booked through kayak and was given the price of my rental for 3 days, then was given another price that was 3x as much as the original price given prior to being at the counter. Very difficult to locate shuttle to be taken to the rental facility as well as finding the rental facility itself; navigation gives the address for the airport so once you've arrived close to the airport you should disregard the navigation and pay attention to the street signs.
Pros:Price per week in Chicago was the best around. Pretty much got in and out for both pick up and return.
Cons:Return in Chicago was difficult to locate. Minimal lights and small signage to direct you to return line.
Pros:Gave me a damaged car that was a hassle to return.
Pros:The staff at the Chicago office went out of their way to help me choose the right vehicle. Pleasant experience. At Denver, not so much.
Pros:The car, pick up and return was good.
Cons:They charged 21% taxes at the airport in Chicago. Can I er the money back? We really were surprised. The car came out $ 200 more than expected. Please act on this. Thanks
Pros:I received a very nice car, better than I was expecting.
Cons:There was only 1 staff member present when I arrived at the airport, so it was a long wait to get the car. I was a late night arrival, so I expect this will not be the case if you come during normal hours.
