Cons:They sold me the wrong insurance! I had to pay an extra 20 euro per day as part of this online deal. Then when I got to the pickup they told me that in the terms and conditions the recommended insurance is completyely invalid. Its a scam. so then I had to (on top of the 20euro per day for nothing) get MORE insurance for another 22 euro per day.l Also, when I picked up the car I was on the way to a wedding. I had specified that I needed it to be ready at 12. I got there at 12.15 and the man just sat there on the phone to a colleague for over 15 mins. In the end I just forced myself up to the front of the desk and he promptly hung up the phone (so it couldnt have been important phone call). I ended up an hour late for the family get together before the wedding and it really upset me. I would never go with tthem again, I think they are a scam - especially the fact that their recommended insurance is completely invalid

Cons:Dollar in Europe only accepts insurance from a platinum MasterCard or visa. The supplimental insurance offered by Kayak or other booking companies is not accepted and you will be forced to get much more expensive insurance through Dollar (which is Hertz in most European locations). The supplemental coverage offered through Kayak is not accepted.

Cons:We could not take the reservation as the rental car agency Hertz does not allow own insurances as sold by Kajak. We could just cancel the reservation for the car and later on the insurance and start over. The price doubled...

Cons:Make sure you pay attention to the vehicle prior to driving away. After drop off I was called by the hire car company about a missing parcel shelf that was not there when I picked up the vehicle.

Cons:Intially the car rental cost was around 260 including insurance. I opted for full insurance cover which should have not cost me more than 150 extra but the total was 640 euros including the 80 euros I paid while making the online booking. Which is totally a scam .

Cons:The kayak scams clients by offering useless and scammed offering useless insurance from allianz which is useless for rental company. Rental company did informed that Kayak scam innocent clients by misleading lot of customers with this useless offering. I forced to cancel this useless insurance prior to my renting. I have contacted my lawyer to see how to file a case at the US court against fraudulent practices conducted by Kayak. I am requesting an compensation for spending time sorting out the issue with a useless insurance trowed by Kayak prior to renting a car..
