Cons:Made reservation for fullsize car for 7 weeks the initial deal was good. When I arrived at Berlin (TXL) suddenly Hertz wanted nearly $60 per day for the insurance alone which brought the total from $2100 to $5000. I returned the car the next day and picked up a brand new rental car at Sixt rent a car for $1900 total including full coverage with 0 deductible. Hertz lost my buisness period. I usually use Sixt but made a mistake this time. Hertz is borderline criminal buy asking extremely high rates for extras such as insurance.

Cons:I have been renting car in several companies and countries, but the experience for dropoff the car in Berlin at Hertz airport leads me to never rent this company again.

Cons:Service and the fact that the 2 rentals we did with hertz resulted in overcharges for preexisting damage. Cars were handed in with minimum usage and in the exact same conditions (one of them was picked up in the morning and returned that same evening, the other was kept for 2 nights).

Cons:Vehicle was not ready to pick up when we needed it. We had to wait an hour or more. However, the staff was very kind.
