Cons: Air conditioner did not cool very well.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Our cabin and the grounds were so beautiful. It was so quiet we never really heard our neighbors next door even though it's a duplex cabin. Staff were friendly and it was a great location to the Hamilton Pool Preserve!
Cons: Our cabin was supposed to be ready to check in by 3pm; however, they were still cleaning our room until almost 4 so we just waited in our vehicle.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great experience, perfect for families.
Cons: Apparently Camp Lucy was running a special (stay two nights, get the third free) but you had to know about it and enter a promo code. So, we missed out on that and that was a bit disappointing. Lesson learned. We will know better next time.

Overview
A cord-wood stacked cabin comfortably and artistically furnished, and located within a 23-acre retreat along the headwaters of Barton Creek, this is a refuge from the noise of the world. Formerly home to a summer sports camp that ran for almost fifty years, it is now a place for artists, writers, musicians, philosophers of all kinds-anyone looking to get away. Parklike setting. Coffee/tea available. Full kitchen. Homemade baked goods and juice for breakfast if you request it for an additional fee. On the property: Outdoor unheated pool. Two recently resurfaced tennis courts surrounded by mature pecan trees. Basketball court. Barton Creek for wading and fishing. Ping-pong. Books. No piped music. Just the air and the sun and the stars at night. Some deer and some birds and the occasional wild turkey. Lots of sports options. Lots of space for lounging. Some board games. All within easy driving distance to Austin or any destination in the Texas Hill Country.
