Wrong location, didn't get promised price, hated t
Pros: Avis provided a car on-the-spot despite Kayak getting the location wrong and the price wrong. The car was comfortable enough
Cons: I didn't like the fact that 1) Kayak didn't really supply the car from the airport location, but some other off-site lot nearby; 2) the price I had to pay was double what was promised by Kayak; 3) I had to settle for a goofy car - a "Juke" that had a blind spot the size of Nebraska and a driver seat I could never get quite right. I won't be using Kayak to tent a car ever again

Pros: You made a rental that was not at the Airport but somewhere
outside. As such was useless to us as we do not know the layout
of the city or how to get there.
Avis did accommodate us and supply us with a vehicle at a higher
cost.

Cons: Maybe show more features how to use car - windshield wiper, ax but he was the only one working with customer behind me

Not easy to make changes, rates jacked up each tim
Pros: Car was fine, except for dirty windshield and smeary windshield wipers. Had to stop at a gas station to scrub the windshield.
Cons: My travel plans changed and I had to make changes to the rental. It wasn't easy to cancel my first reservation; despite trying online and on the phone to cancel, Avis still called me on the day of my original reservation asking where I was! The price went up astronimically when I made changes.

Not at airport.
Pros: Avis Airport rep was able to help me but had to pay $20.00 more than original quote.
Cons: Car rental was supposed to be at the airport but was off sight.

Furious. Never reserving anything with Kayak again
Pros:
Cons: I specifically made sure that I reserved a car from the AUS airport but upon arrival learned it was moved to an Avis 20 miles from the airport!

Great service and price
Pros: Sal at the Austin Airport Avis was beyond amazing. Super helpful guy and made sure I got the best rate possible. Thanks again Sal!

The car smelled
Cons: I had to drive a car for a week that smelled like a urnal. I was really disappointed in how Avis handled the situation.

Fuel penalty charge
Cons: Outrageous fuel charge for not being able to refilling the tank before drop off to catch a plane. 3× the cost of fuel.

Good value! Need to sweep bettter between customers.
Pros: Service was fast.
Cons: Did' like the weed shake on the passenger and driver floorboards. It does not bother me that marijuana was in the rental car at one time,
It's safer than alcohol, but if a LEO saw it that could be bad.
