Location was excellent None for the price
Tv was not working in room.kettle was not working.table lamp not working.otherwise room was comfortable
support of the staff, silence, size of the room wireless didn't reach the room, but I was informed by the staff at my arrival
Very nicely located just off of McConnell Street. Easy to find and just off the bus line. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh cooked and tasty. Our room was on the 4th floor and they have no lifts. We had to drag all of our heavy luggage up about 60-80 steps. Recommend requesting a lower level room.
Location is great for visiting Dublin's city center. Good breakfast and comfortable clean rooms. Basic amenities. Free wireless does not work in all rooms (ie. 107)....
Not bad for a budget hotel. Our first room had a plumbing problem but the staff were quick to deal with this and relocated us, Thereafter everything was satisfactory, Breakfasts were limited in terms of range and quality. Shower room very small. Beds (especially pillows) were hard.
Good position, very close to the center
I liked the location and the breakfast was good , overall great value for money.
The location and the staff. No wireless internet in the rooms as advertised. The room was smaller than I expected.
Friendly staff; nice bathroom; The bed wasn't very comfortable
Up for the match and Tipperary won, lucky place!
Ideal location for visting the city- can easily walk to stevens green, RDS 5 mins walk away plus right across from bus route. Owner and staff very friendly, helpful and obliging n/a
pleasant staff ,close to Aviva stadium for Michael buble concert no restaurant
Free off street parking, lovely decor and surroundings, good security, great location, very helpful staff, convenient lift, spacious and well-appointed room. Nit-picking, i would have liked a little fridge in the room.
Excellent service, very quiet atmosphere, good breakfast in a very bright breakfast-room, brilliant broadband for free and really good location. Overall, good value for money.
Comfortable, very nice breakfast with good food and selection. Very convenient to conference at hotel. Good parking. King room could have used additional comfortable seating.
Great Location. Lovely Spacious room. Excellent Irish breakfast included in the nightly rate.
Staff was very helpful in allowing us to print our airline boarding passes for the next day's flight. They also were very helpful in recommending local sites and offering directions. They even offered an umbrella to keep us out of the rain Sound from other rooms--plumbing, voices--seemed abnormally loud compared to other B & B's we stayed at during our trip. Not necessarily obnoxious, but enough so we were aware of the activity.
The location was great, in the city centre. Close to all the busyness of town, but at the same time very quiet.
location unfortunately one night people were partying underneath the building and they were super loud until 3 am! last night so we wanted to rest...
The apartment was very confortable. No.
The apartment was fitted out to a very high spec, location was excellent with lovely walks through St Stephens Green and hotel staff were very helpful. I would stay here again without a doubt. A little more expensive than a hotel with breakfast included but the space and privacy was just what I was looking for. Thank you
Nice apartment, with all necessary facilities. very well located, in a quiet area very close to main shopping streets. The apartment was not dirty but not perfectly clean, especially the living room
friendly staff, good location and quite homely Would be even better if there was breakfast available.
The Premier Suites were an excellent choice for us. We enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation in returning and would recommend it to others. The bed was very uncomfortable, slept very little and got up next morning with aches and pains. Our only fault with Premier suites.
Lovely spacious apartments, comfortable furniture and friendly staff. Good location. Poor reading lights beside beds. No shaving mirror in bathroom.
very convenient and clean. the windows can't be open wide , problematic on a stuffy day but the staff provided fans.
Size of the rooms and the facilities provided - microwave and hob etc. Tatty decor - marks on the walls, uneven kitchen doors and so on. The fact that kitchen facilities are provided, without any cleaning products, like dishwasher tablets, tea towels, so you effectively can't use the kitchenette unless you're only staying one night and don't mind leaving a mess for the cleaner.
Rally nice comfortable accomodation. Very convenient to City Centre and new Aviva Stadium - 25 Minute Walk.
staff were most helpful and friendly and food and service quite good stairs and no lift - rooms on top floor definitely not suitable for older people or with any kind of disability or health problems
great location, fine food , nice staff. What's not to like !
The majorityu of the staff werte excellent. However one person at the front desk when we checked in was extremely negative to the point of being hostile. I think she was the manager. I found her to be not only disagreeable to me but also thought she spokje to her staff with disrespect. The individual at the front desk. Based on my experience with that front desk manager I would not recommend this hotel
Incredibly helpful staff. Beautiful room. Comfortable bed. Bathroom was spacious and had a 'spa' feel to it. Best breakfast in Ireland.
Location To me it seemed like Bentley"s is winding down!! We arrived back from our night at 11.30pm ordered wine and some nibbles got our wine but were told "we don"t do nibbles!! our morning waiter was fab but I lost count of how many times he said sorry!! as any item I ordered from the menue was not possible.
Truly superb location, intimate hotel with just a few rooms, older building with great character but well-maintained, comfy bed with nice sheets, great shower with lots of water pressure and great view. Loved it and would go back in a minute! Staff could be a bit more informed to answer questions about the surrounding area
The hotel didn't receive my booking so I had to move hotels.
All what you need, incl breakfast, nice people Quite expensive for basic room, 30 min. walk from center, no minibar Huge key to carry with you all the time (because of frontdoor)
The selection of breakfast was much better than I expected. They gave me a great deal of value for money.
Lovely rooms and excellent breakfast n/a
I liked comfort, old-fashioned rooms; feeling like home, buses near, good information booklet found in the room. Some of the hotel staff really kind. I missed a plan of the city, time-table for buses. Food is very old-fashioned (not for healthy eaters), but goes with the traditional style. The hotel is close to the busy road and it's not written. I ,f.ex. would ask for a room not looking at the main road - if I would have known it. On their website it was mentioned that there's an airport transfer, which was not true - also the lady at the airport checked it and saw it and I told it to the hotel staff so that they need to take it off.
Location and room Breafast. No bowls ,no tea cup ,no black pudding , no newspapers
A smile or two would have been welcome
The staff were very welcoming and the location was perfect for me. Very easy to find and the free parking was definitely a plus. I was on a business trip where times was of the essence so it would have been more convenient to have been able to have had room service.
Nice place, lots of plants, silence. I do not like english-style sink with two separate taps. That is not convenient.
A 4 star breakfast, excellently served. slight problem with tv freezing programs every now & then....frustrating
Very warm reception from owner, with helpful tips on travel, restaurants etc.. Ideal for travel to centre of town.Very pleasant large rooms.
Clean relaxed hotel with a very nice decor.
Very friendly and helpful staff; Very good breakfast; Very high standard of cleanliness; Hotel has character; Close to railway station Bed pillows were too firm.
It is a lovely house with lots of charm. Breakfast was outstanding as it was the warmth of the staff. I recommend amply.
Staff delightfully friendly, helpful, and efficient. Hotel located in very attractive suburb, with easy access to city.
Staff were very friendly and courteous. The food was excellent and plentifull.
Fantastic customer service. Very friendly and welcoming staff. N/A
staff very friendly
Lovely breakfast, super comfortable bed, very pleasant and friendly staff. Decor very nice. Tea and biscuits on arrival was great. no bar facilities.
Great location, friendly and helpful staff, lovely accomodations, comfortable rooms The accomodations were excellent.
The rooms were spacious and staff friendly.
The location was good Reception staff were not friendly
hotel was nice and clean they shutdown services early and on our checkout day decided to shutdown all the computes for 3 hours so we could ot checkout or get a final bill to review.
-Close to bus pick-up & drop-offs -Friendly staff at front desk & in the restaurant -Restaurant on-site, reasonably priced & convenient dinner options -Clean and modern rooms -Fairly quiet -Just a bit of a walk to get to the heart of Dublin (this can also be a pro as it's a little quieter than if you were in central Dublin
The food in the restaurant was pretty good. Average, indifferent service. Average cleanliness. Terrible pillows, nearly rags Terrible bedding
I found the staff at this hotel extremely friendly and helpful. They were courteous and offered help and advice. I really appreciate good service and we got it at the Pearse hotel. The hotel location is a 15 min walk from O'Connell street which is great. The pillows in the room were like concrete slabs. The room smelt of stale smoke. The cost of wifi was extortionate.
Brilliant location - couldn't have asked for better! Staff very friendly and room was ready when we got there at 9am after our early flight! Have already recommended to friends! Sheets were marked and all the rails in the bathroom were coming off the wall but fine otherwise!
the bar nothing
Good location Location is a bit noisy if you are after a good nights sleep
Location Very very very noisy.
the room was small, but spotless and modern. good location and the price was very cheap for bein in the centre of Temple Bar the lift was tiny and my friend felt a little claustrophobic.Bein in the middle of temple bar meant that it was a noisy area, and we could hear the music that was playin the down stairs bar in our room!! But saying that we werent in the room for too long and it wouldnt put me off stayin there again
The hotel is located on Dame Street which is directly in front of Trinity College main entrance and on the edge of Temple Bar District. Because we were staying for a week, we opted not to have housekeeping come in every day. The housekeeping staff left bundles of towels, shampoo and toilet paper outside our door to restock the room. The bathroom needed maintenance. There was mold growing on the wall above the door and the grout was discolored with mildew. The toilet leaked and made the room smell of sewer. It was unusually warm the first day we were there. They don't have air-conditioning; which is understandable but there were no fans available and the windows only open a few inches. The area outside our window was filled with several mechanical units which were rather loud.
central location no tea making facilities in room and rooms small
Liked the bar and central location. Some of our group stayed on the 1st floor and found their room very noisy! Specially with the music from the club playing so loud!
Excellent location and atmosphere good with the vat House next door Need tea/coffe making facilities in room
Its so central Room a bit small
the location was excellent right in the middle of dublin The hotel bar closed no drinks even though you stayed there
i was very clean and near why I needed to be,unfortunatly my wife could not make the trip to add her comment no
The hotel was very good! price and location.
Hotel catered for all needs of my family,The staff were very helpful,The restaurant provisions were excellent and the hotel was to a high quality.
Nice room and very helpful staff. Convenient location for me. Not many channels on TV and what stations there were kept freezing. Hotel in a pretty rough area, which may give concern at night. Room was a little cold, but the radiator could be turned on!
Bathroom was nice. Staff also helpful. I arrived at the hotel at 9.10pm. I had thought that their would be a chance o getting a tea and a sandwhich but I was told the resteraunt closed at 9pm. A man arrived around te same time and asked the same question. I went to my room and thought at least I will have a cup of tea and a biscuit but I was very dissapointed to discover no biscuits!! This is the first hotel I have stayed in that this has happened.Breakfast was just ok.
I walked in and the room was massive compared to other 3 star hotels and really comfortable ! There was even a small balcony which gave a nice view over the city. The bathroom was spotless and the room itself was excellently furnished . The hotel is only a couple of minutes walk to the LUAS which brings you straight into the city centre in no time. that i was only staying one night !
price/ location/ modern decor, appriciated the tea/coffee maker in room
Hotel is very good value for money and in a great location, luas stop just a few metres down the road. Restaurant not great but lots of places around to eat.
Good location within easy walking distance of the tourist centre; handy to public transport; quiet; friendly & helpful staff I would have liked to have computer access from the hotel - there was in-room internet access, but I had to find an internet cafe because I didn't travel with my computer.
The hotel is modern and very quiet for a city central location.
Very close access to downtown especially we did not have our car, An access to Internet with PC would had been appreciated at the hotel.
I liked the fact that the rooms were very clean.Bright rooms. The customer service also. The Wi-Fi wasnt working in my room.
cleanliness, comfort, facilities single choice of meal facility at 7.40pm
Price, friendly staff, good bed, excellent decor difficult to find due to inadequate signage and inaccurate hotel website directions
Very comfortable clean beds, plus Tea and Coffee facilities. Other patrons making unacceptable noise in the corridors during the night
55 euro a night. The room was very clean. Plenty of hot water. Free car parking. Can't fault the hotel at all. Good value room. No public transport links, on the very edge of the outskirts of a city where the price of a taxi is extortionate. €42 one way from the city centre on the meter in a licensed taxi, at night, with no traffic. A shuttle bus to the nearest tram or bus stop would be of great benefit. Cost of room was good value at €55, but getting around more than doubled it. Would only stay here again if I'm not drinking, and have the car. €120 a night in a more central hotel would have worked out cheaper.
In quiet area. Near bus stop for City Center. Try booking directly with Maldron website...it was actually cheaper to book directly rather than bookings.com Need better directions. For a hotel of this caliber, there should be WiFi in rooms and should have a small gym on site
Clean, convenient, helpful staff found it a bit hard to spot from the road i used to get there, maybe need more signs nearby to alert people to turn off for it
Spacious well decorated clea rooms.Pleaseant staff Unfortunately TV did not work and isdn line in another room. This down to maitenance as new hotel and no maitenace people about. This should be resolved as hotel grows. But still good hotel
very comfertable and cosy the breakfast
The rooms were fantastic! Super clean! Hotel lovely! The price of the restaurant on the grounds was ridic!
Great hotel, lovely bar and resturant, good location and excellent staff, would definately return.
Good all round hotel within walking distance of all that Dublin has to offer
The staff were particularly helpful and friendly.
Friendly staff, enquiries dealt with quickly, waitresses efficient and friendly, breakfast OK, (but layout problem, see below) Breakfast area awkward split-level layout and cramped; duvets too heavy and hot; make sure toilet paper is checked (that there's enough)!
Spacious room, very good breakfast, pleasant staff and convenient location. A very nice place to stay.
Our stay was great, Hotel warm comfortable and cosy. Perfect location to see Dublin city and to meet my family. Staff on reception very cheerful and welcoming.
Rooms warm and clean. All tastes catered for on breakfast menu. I liked the facility to store luggage on day of departure for later collection
Staff very friendly. Rooms starting to look tired.
Friendly staff at reception We stayed in the executive wing, which involved a long and covoluted access route. The smell of old fat and grease which emanated from the kitchen area and could be smelled from time to time in the lobby was offputting.
Our rooms had to be changed because of water damage at weekend but we were more than satisfied with the change and the way the hotel staff dealt with the matter. Hotel meal was nice and the entertainment good.
Nothing apart from the friendly staff and the memory foam matress which gave me a rash and skin allergy! From the moment we went into the hotel the smell of damp musky air took the breath from us. Upon first entering the hotel it seemed pretty ok for the price that we were paying but as we entered our room how wrong were we. Middle of November with freezing tempetures outside and the window in the room open, took about an hour to heat with 'hot' air conditioning which i think was bringing in the air from the smoke room come beer garden so therfore we were choked with the fumes. The dust and dirt that was in the bedroom floor carpet was unreal considering there was 1 asthma suferer and due to this we couldnt really stay in the room too long. The bathroom was the same. And to end the so called bar downstairs--at your own risk enter!
The hotels location was excellent. Connelly station right across the street. Temple bar approximately 20-25 minute walk or take the Lucas.
The common areas very clean, cozy and updated. The staff very accommodating with extremely early check in. Great areas to relax. The room we stayed in was very small and had not been upgraded. Not a room they would picture on website.
The hotel was well sited and just what we wanted The room we were given was next to the lift and the railway ran right passed the window.Although they didn't cause too much trouble I would think twice about booking your hotel another time
The rooms were lovely and very comfortable
Excellent food at both breakfast and dinner and comfotable room I know it's a public bar but the general behaviour, especially the bad language being used by some of the customers, was not what you would expect in a hotel bar. Perhaps a few words in a few ears might help make visiting the bar a more pleasant experience for hotel guests. By the way, the bar staff were very friendly and attentive.
We got a free room upgrade, the staff were friendly and we loved the big comfy bed. Was very handy to get to and on site parking was great! The floors were very creaky and the walls extremely thin as we could hear people in the surrounding rooms!
right on bus line to/from airport, staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was great selection and service, location was also good for walking to attractions and restaurants, bar was a fun walk back into time with a intimate beer garden. bathroom had black bold, shower head or water pressure needed some work.
friendly staff, great location
Convenient to city centre, fabulous clean modern rooms, helpful staff Noisy, by railway line
I liked the convenience of the location and the receptionist when checking in and out was very polite and courtious and the place was spotless. I found the night porter to be very rude and unhelpful. We arrived back to the hotel just after 2am and when we enquired about the residents bar we were told in no uncertain terms that it was closed and that it wasn't his problem. I wasn't the only guest to think this. I cant understand how the residents bar closes before all the nightclubs in the surrounding area.
Easy access to RDS, rooms nice, great price
Nice location The rooms were tiny (more like a bed & breakfast) and didn't look anything like the rooms advertised on their website.
Location, location, location! Ideally situated beside the dart, and next door to the Aviva stadium. Easy to drive to, ample car parking, and lovely staff.
Location and food were great! Hotel needs updating...beds are uncomfortable and very squeaky, rooms are outdated.
pleasant hotel handy for aviva stadium i
Hotel room was clean, tidy and well laid out No
Friendly Staff & pleasant atmosphere
Friendly and welcoming staff......extremly clean hotel very under-rated...excellent food.....very comfortable hotel in an excellent central location
Good location Staff were not friendly. They provided an adequate service but a smile costs nothing !
The staff were really amazing - very friendly and helpful. I'm notoriously bad with directions, but they patiently helped me map out routes to the city, but stops, etc. The room was perfect for my needs - just enough room and very clean. Beautiful sunlight filled the room (when it wasn't overcast outside). The room service portions were very generous and the food was excellent. The portions were a bit too large for me, but could have easily been shared between two people. Very convenient location. Quiet residential/business location. Walls seemed paper-thin, but I think that's because of the age of the building. I don't think there's really anything that could be done for that - it wasn't really a bother. Maybe I just didn't walk around enough, but it didn't seem like there was very much to do (for a business tourist, anyway) in the immediate area. The Internet cut out frequently in my room. These are just very minor complaints, though. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend the hotel to anyone who is seeking a comfortable, clean, convenient location for Dublin travel.
we arrived at the hotel very late on sunday night and were delighted to find that the restaurant was still serving food from their extensive menu and not just snacks
Excellent, friendly staff. Comfortable and clean rooms. Good value for money. Distance from the city centre
Was nice and quiet. Great location. It was kind of old, so I wouldn't recommend it to people, but for value-for-money it seemed about right. Location was very good.
Great location, clean comfortable hotel great value for money. I cannot think of anything to write here. A good budget hotel with honest staff.
The location is great. It wasn't too clean, the TV was to the side of the beds so you couldn't lay and watch comfortably, it wasn't easy to get to the room through the maze of stairs and hallways, and the shower curtain blows in towards the tub while you're showering so it sticks to you and you have to keep pushing it away- very annoying- put some weights on it!!
Hotel staff was very friendly and quick to accommodate. The hotel was very clean and nice. Very nosy from the alley, and the walls are pretty thin
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly which made up for the poor facilities. Having asked for a quiet room, I got one which had the constant noise of an airco system from the pub below. The bedside lamp, hair dryer and tea kettle didn't work.
Location to city centre Smell of stale smoke in parts
Proximity to attractions, tea/coffee in room, clean A little noisy at night but to be expected from the Temple Bar area.
Nice hotel, good locaiion Main door were closed most of the time, you have to push a button and wait for opening an electrical lock by receptionist
conveniant for whole city
Location Shabby. Torn wallpaper- smoky rooms- warning to double-lock room doors and always use peep-hole which kinda scared me.
Loved the champagne in the lobby, proximity to temple bar area, and value for money. The breakfast was just OK and the staff did not have a lot of recommendations for restaurants/bars/etc.
The location was great, my husband and I could walk all over Dublin from the central location of the hotel. There was no shower curtain on our shower, no heat in the bathroom, lipstick stains on the coffee cups in the room, room curtains did not shut entirely which allowed others to see into our room.
Staff were efficient, friendly and competent. Didn't get sea view as booked.....but were upgraded to an Executive Room at the original price. The Assistant Manager was particularly friendly, understanding and helpful
Friendly and welcoming staff. Good food and plenty of variety. Good leisure facilities. Pleasant and relaxing surroundings. Would have liked to have known beforehand that caps were needed in the swimming pool
very shabby and in need of decoration. Despite location it felt like an old budget hotel
Excellent staff, great location on the coast, easy transit into Dublin via the Dart. Would definitely stay again.
Very relaxed atmosphere. Comfortable Unless you have a car, hotel is not ideal
It is a historical building with modern facilities, the view from the room was lovely, it is not far from the village, walking down is ok but recommend a cab home
Hotel could definitely do with a make over - balcony roof leaked - general decor in rooms shabby.
Situation Rooms a disappointment as rather small
The hotel has a distinct character of its own, it made such a pleasant change to be able to stay in such a homely and comfortable hotel that has managed to totally avoid the 'corporate feel' common to so many hotels. Nothing
When anything was not as liked eg. in the restaurant, the very attentive staff immediately rectified the situation.
Location was convenient for O'Connell St and the city centre. Our room was clean and spacious and at the back of the hotel, so was quiet at night, no road noise. Staff were very friendly and you could leave your luggage at reception after checking out if you were leaving later in the day. During the buffet type breakfast, at times there was a shortage of plates or cutlery so you were hanging around for the staff to get more. The range and quality of food was fine.
Location of the hotel was excellent. The staff was friendly enough, though they were definately not welcoming. That doesn't really matter, when faced with the excellent overall value for money Nothing significant
The location is good due to be 5 min walk from city centre. You have towels, shower gel and shampoo provided, tv, kettle and a safe-deposit box to leave you values. They provide you with some tea bags, coffee, milk and sugar. You can leave the bags there after the check out, although they did not charge you might pay if you leave after 16h00. The room is basically the size of the bed and furniture is horrible, although the bed is quite comfortable. Go to this hotel only if you want to save money and if you want the bedroom only to sleep like we did. Breakfast is very expensive for what you get, but you can find several supermarkets 2 min walk and save loads of money - instead 11 euros each one at the hotel you spend 6 for both.
Ok for the price , but don't expect much. Bed was uncomfortable , strong smell of bleach in the bathroom. Avoid rooms in the back , pigeons constantly pecking at the window
Everything was good. The Staff was very friendly and made our stay really nice. It's near the center. nothing in special.
very close to o'connell street and transport links for getting around dublin : ) small room an warm in summer, but probably luck of the draw!! what do you want for £50 a night.
size of room we recieved was massive very noisy needs double glazing on front
I liked that there was no noise at night time, the rooms were warm and the water was warm They didnt serve food until half 3, so we had to go out for something to eat
the receptionist on the day of departure was really lovely and truly helpful just what you want when you stay in a hotel.the location was excellent and the room was really cosy and comfortable the only fault we had was in relation to trying to get lunch in the bar on the day of arrival ,the staff were very slow and inefficient and non apologetic for the long delay in service .having ordered lunch we waited about 45 minutes and were still not served so we left and went to an alternative venue for something to eat.having said that i would use the hotel in the future
The location is good, 15 minute walk to temple bar. Room was snug.
The front of the Hotel is very noisey all night long. Breakfast was poor quality and expensive
Excellent welcome, and room with nice views over the city. Good location.
I have stayed here three times in the past two years and enjoyed them all. The beds are firm and comfortable, the rooms clean and reasonably spacious. The location is great: in a quiet neighborhood a 10-minute walk to St. Stephen's Green, with several nice restaurants and pubs a few blocks away, and located on several good bus lines, including the express bus to the airport. The staff has always been helpful.
the information given on web-site was acurate.... staff friendly and helpful.... nothing a problem to do ... hotel stored our luggage till 6pm on last day... despite being a tight arsed scott I thought it was excellent value for money.. no
Breakfast and location The room was too hot even with the window open. In addition the street below was too noisy when the window was open.
Friendly staff and very cozy It is in a very noisy part of the city.
friendliness of staff, comfort, cleanliness & easy to find out the location. my particular room was bit conjusted.
Convenient location for Dublin City Centre, room and facilities were very clean. Chocolates left on my pillow was a lovely touch.
i like nothink about my stay Nothink
It was clean comfortable and good value for money in the location The absence of meal provision in the hotel and its immediate surroundings I found to be a frustration. Despite asking for the closest restaurant location I was sent on a extended hike and found nothing I considered to be viable. I would strongly recommend the hotel takes the action to produce a detailed restaurant guide with a map!
the location was easy access to the city centre .also the local bus service is regular if not wanting to walk inadequate heating and hot water supply which spoilt our stay there
I loved this hotel. The staff was excellent, helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. Our bedroom was perfect- one double bed with a comfy duvet, good sized television, and a good view of Dublin. We also had a large bathroom with a jacuzzi bathtub. Nothing! This hotel was amazing and I would recommend it for everyone!
