Pickup truck

The truck I reserved wasn’t available so dealership had me get a more expensive suv. I should have been offered the suv at the same price of my original reserved vehicle. Worker at pick-up had me sign up for me coverage even after tellling him I already signed up for different coverage and I didn’t know I was charged for the extra coverage until after my receipt was emailed to me. Won’t be returning to Enterprise for any future car rentals.

The local office did not pick up the phone when I called to extend my rental. Another time I called I was put on hold. After 9 minutes of waiting on hold, I finally gave up and hung up the phone

I cancelled this order and they have not refunded me fully and it’s impossible to get ahold of a representative, when I finally did they said it would process. Almost a month later affirm is charging me and hertz only gave me a partial refund and I’ve had to reopen this issue with them but it has yet to be resolved.

We booked for 12pm pickup and showed up at 12pm. They close at 12pm on Saturday. We were not able to get the car. Called Hertz and they said it was our fault for not checking the hours. Hours were not listed in the booking confirmation.

Rental in Oakland: Choice of cars was rather poor, seems to be related to the Corona Crisis though. No information about upgrades. No GPS available. Staff was very friendly but was apparently not trained to understand international travellers‘ needs and questiones who havn‘t had a lot of experience on the US car rental market. I tried out a competitor before, which worked much better.

Pros:

The drop-off representative was very helpful and understanding of the issues we faced with our car rental.

Cons:

The car had no windshield wiper fluid and no UBS ports so we couldn't charge our phones and have the benefit of a nav system.

Pros:

I picked my car on Friday 4/2/2021 and sropped off the same day at a dfferent location. On Monday, I received an email that I was a no-show for my rental pick upi and that a charge of $50 will be applied to my credit card. I tried to call but the cale was disconnected twice and after that there was a problem wtih a website. Absolutely a dishonest service! I am shocked!
