They had nice furniture and kept the room clean also it was very close to the freeway witch made it easy. The bed was the only thing that could use major improvement. It was way too firm and it was hard to sleep and relax on it.
good location if you have a car, comfortable and large rooms breakfast should be better
Breakfast was minimal and area was much too small.
Very clean and good value for money. Staff very helpful.
It was close to the freeway and to every main attraction.
Its clean and located near the freeway... Continental breakfast was not very good...apples and oranges for fruit only? Muffins were tiny. One bite size. Thank God there's a Dennys next store.Would recommend but....
Even though I had requested a quiet room, the room we were first offered was right next to the ice machine. The second room we were offered had a bad smell, but the third room was relatively quiet and functional. The location, which is right between Ventura Boulevard - a very busy street - and Highway 101 - also a very busy highway.
Good location, nice kind size bed, clean.
We very much enjoyed the swimming pool and being able to sit around it with our family. The noise coming from the traffic on Ventura and the freeway behind the motel.
it was clean. pool was nice. quiet location
Room's were clean and the beds comfortable. They advertise a pool, but its more of a large bathtub, don't expect to go swimming. As mentioned in previous post, the staff is not friendly..
Our stay there was great, other than the fact that TWO TIMES the cleaning staff opened the door, without even knocking, prior to checkout time, the first of which was 9:30am while my boyfriend and I were still in bed, asleep.
Neat and spacious room. Parking space was not clean.
Clean and spacious room. Good value for money. Breakfast area was small and options limited.
Everything was great... The size, the bathroom, the noise was non-existent, a fridge and microwave.. The check out time is NOT noon as stated on the bill, email, receipt, etc. It is 11am. I even asked when I got there to make sure and was told even by staff that check out is noon. I was out most of the night with my girlfriend and got back around 3am, went to sleep at 4am. I woke up to a phone call from staff at 10:45am that 11am is check out. I checked the receipt and told him it's clearly printed that it's noon. He said "no" that the maids need time to clean the rooms and check out time is always 11am. This is the same guy that when my girlfriend arrived to the hotel before me refused to let her check in (despite both our names were a part of the guests and later got resolved by the next guy's shift. (She sat in her car waiting and the next employee was happy to let her check in and doesn't know why the previous guy didn't.) This is the only experience that I'm really pissed at is that I paid for a given time and that it was abruptly changed without warning. (And through no fault of my own).
Just an ordinary motel - nothing bad but nothing extraordinary good as well. A quiet place and clean bed to sleep - just what I needed. A coffee machine is a pleasant bonus ) Despite the fact that it was the cheapest motel in North Hollywood I could find it's still overpriced - like all accomodation in LA. Wi-fi signal isn't so good.
Overpriced. Pictures don't reflect the rooms. It's definitely false advertisement
No ice or vending machines.
How close it was to where we were visiting, quiet, price The bed...it was way too hard. The floor was easier to sleep on
I did not like the room at at all. There were scratches all over the walls and headboard. There was a bullet hole in the wall. The door did not actually close completely so the room was incredibly loud next to the street. There were broken windows.
A nice room with two queen beds which were very comfortable. Air conditioning worked fine and it had a flat panel TV with several HBO channels. It had a table with two chairs and a refrigerator and microwave so if you needed to eat in you could. Since I am a soft down pillow user, this motel (and almost any motel or hotel) had pillows that were like rocks. I bring one of my own pillows whenever possible. The closet was huge but situated behind the table and chairs, so difficult to get to.
Carpeting was stained and looked old. Refrigerator needed defrosting and cleaning. Freshly painted room.
Clean. Quiet. Friendly staff. Great TV and cable selection. Neighborhood was pretty bad. Nice mcDonalds and Taco Bell right across the street though. Refrigerator smelled bad. No place to sit outside.
The staff was pretty fast to respond, when we knocked their window. The odor in the room was really bad. My clothes and all my things soaked that smell. When we entered the room, there was good amount of leafs and dirt on floor. I think there are no bed bugs, but I spent some time searching for them in bed and clothes.

Only thing good TV. This a Motel Lodge did not have a phone or and shower that was broken and knew about it and did not tell me the water was very HOT no cold water. The Owner son said they knew about had a Plumer come out and said it would be fix Monday. Not even a discount
My stay was overall good A little old fashion and sheets had cigarette burns on themn
Next to the freeway, decent price, and there is free HBO. There was one staff member that my friends and I felt very comfortable around. He tried to start a conversation with us about where we're from just to end it with that where we are from are where a lot of "weirdos" are. Maybe he was trying to be funny but we felt like he was making us feel inferior. We asked for a refund on the WiFi (BTW It does not work!!!) and we had to go in and out of room three times to finally give him everything he needed to finally refund us and also after he has helped everyone else. Definitely need to have A LOT of patience with him. The other staff members were more helpful, quick, and efficient.
Staff was friendly, and the price was very reasonable. When I checked in, everything was a little hectic. And there were frightening noises throughout the night. Not that I felt I was in danger, but I didn't feel particularly safe either.
The price. I asked for a non-smoking room, and got one that smelled of stale smoke. The towels looked like they were poorly cleaned. There wasn't an electrical socket near the bathroom mirror..And the gate outside my door was being opened and closed a lot lot during the night. Not recommended unless this is your last option.
Free parking Cell phone service wasn't the best neither was the Internet. Also the room had bed bugs.
Dirty, bare bones room without amenities promised. Bars on windows and multiple gates/security cameras, although gates were often just left open by employees. Zero existence of customer service for guests.
The location was the best part about it because it's near no much The service was horrible, rude counter, it took 4 hrs to fix my tv!! Wasted vacation time
Beds, floor It was very suspicious there, police arresting someone out side our door in the other parking lot. Got a weird vibe, we did not safe there. Staff was not very friendly. We got a refund on 2 out of 3 nights because kids feel asleep on bed while we called for another hotel. Graffiti on the front and bathroom doors. Cheaper doesn't mean better. Never go there.
Price. Appears to have had some recent renovation. Neighborhood/location. Available parking marginal. No breakfast (but coffee available).
The only saving grace was the fact that it was a 10 minute drive from universal studios. The beds were covered in hair, as well as the pillows. There were carvings in the headboard. The a/c unit was not working. There was a part of the floor that was sunken in near the restroom-this was a second floor room. The main room mirror had scribbles with sharpie on it. It appeared that the bathroom mirror had spray paint on it. There were blood spots on the bathroom floor, and a large one in the bathtub itself. The walls in the bathroom were also grimy. When he informed the front desk, all we got was "Sorry.".
Nearness to Santa Monica. We drove up from San Diego and stayed in North Hills so we could be in Santa Monica early the next morning. It worked out pretty well. There is a Starbucks a quarter mile north on Sepulveda and just off the 405. Ample parking. Good shower with soap and shampoo. Can't think of anything
The room looked well kept and clean. I loved the laminate flooring, easy to keep clean and doesn't hold smells like carpet. It looks a little sketchy on the outside but inside feels clean, safe and cozy. My party spent the day at Six Flags and this was about a 25 minute drive. Then we headed to Santa Monica. A nice central location. Flexible check-in and out times. We called and said we'd be arriving late and they accommodated us. Only turn off was it was across the street from a strip club but not that big a deal to my party, might be for some though. I did not notice any sketchy or scandalous characters rooming around or anything so that's good. Also The parking lot was full and dirty but also not that big a deal to me as long as the room is clean and it was.
The staff is horrible, rude, and they don't care about you at all. This is the worst customer service I have ever come across.
Since i could not find parking it wsd easy to leave Very bad area dirty no lights out sideto fill safe
nothing We booked a room for a dog friendly hotel. Your small print said no pets. We called and left 3 messages with the hotel trying to find out if we could bring our dog. The owner was extremely rude, tried to get us to pay much more. We didn't stay there.

Only location Doesn't looks like safe
Nothing. Rude staff and Roaches. Not worth trying to save a buck.
The company with me. Maintenance was done on room after we were the room. Front office personnel entered room without knocking.
Nothing The room was very old dirty, The staff didnt really look like they knew what they were doing
Discounts and easy to find in North Hollywood. Staff was slow and didn't seem to be on time the next day on Sunday.
nothing staff were rude and tried to increase the price of the room at check in. Room was poorly maintained, there was graffiti on the bathroom walls and even the sheets were put on sideways.

Nothing This hotel did not honor my reservation and the staff was very rude.
location- cottage style rooms...EZ parking - culinary nearby- ez access to 405 - sofa in room is dirty- doors have stains ... JUST CLEAN IT ... the bed spring is filthy underneath the covers ... get chairs with no cloth- CLOTH retains dirt-stains- fecal matter... get with leather or plastic chairs..easy to clean ...no residue left of any kind- take the sofa out ..or changeit to new covers TAKE THE ADULT CHANNEL OUT OF THE TV ...please-
Convenient to my meetings the next day. The images of the hotel on the website were far nicer than anything I saw in my one night stay. There was a dog in the next room that had been left alone and barked for a couple of hours until the resident came back to the room. There was no iron in the room. I had to call down to the desk and it took three phone calls to finally get one sent to my room. The continental breakfast shown on the website was a complete fabrication. The real breakfast was a coffee urn and a few pastries wrapped in plastic.
Location, price, cleanliness, staff was nice. Really nice bathroom. And the toiletries were cruelty free! Thumbs up! No alarm clock in room. Wish there was a coffee maker. Plastic chairs and cheap table were odd.
This place was so outdated and unlean..ants in the bathroom, bugs and mosquitoes inside because Windows wouldn't shut. The towels under your dirty microwave is just gross. Breakfast included is jet fuel coffee and day old muffins. I didn't personally book this, but i would not recommend to anyone who is wanting to sleep, stay clean, or enjoy their visit to woodland hills.
This was not a fancy but a very clean motel which was situated in a good location for our trip. A very good value for the price. Well maintained and clean.
Lovely staff, kind and considerate. Decent size little refrigerator. Sweet homey garden in courtyard. Grocery stores close by. Carl's Jr. across the street. Internet, wi-fi and t.v.reception...Pretty awful. there is funkiness in bathroom that can easily be taken care of though they neglect to do it (gum wads in tissue holder in the wall)... along being disgustingly messy.
Didn't get the type of room I reserved only 1 towel and refrigerator leaked no one came to service it. Lots of traffic all night long noise was talking in hall ways made it difficult to rest. Would not recommend
Nothing Room service cleaners were rude
The best part about this hotel was that it was a 10 minute drive to Northridge University. Parking inside a locked gate. Dated hotel. No blow dryers in the room. TV had few channels and was snowy.
Gated parking Checked in around 5 and room wasn't ready. Very limited gated parking
Only front desk friendly personal . Noise , refrigerator ,bathroom ,
It was a nice hotel for the price. Its gated.
Friendly Staff, Clean facility. Continental Breakfast was doughnuts & orange flavored water.
Friendly staff Room not ready on check in time
It was close to universal studios hollywood. They would not open the pool even though it was 99 degrees at 9 oclock. There was blood on the corner of our mattress. There was no breakfast just donuts and cold coffee. Then they call 3 days later and said my room was ready for our stay.
Parking was horrible, close by alley was sketchy, rooms and bathrooms were run down and dirty. Rooms were not ready for check-in. There was dry blood on the floor and walls in one of our rooms. Plumbing backed up. Definitely NOT going back there.
Nice staff and price big difference for two rooms, the first room is very noisy, and cold water of shower doesn't work but the next room is very good.
