Pros: Employee at New Bedford airport Avis counter was fantastic! I wishing could remember her name. Nicest car rental employees I have ever met!

Cons: No where did it say if I was using a debit card I needed to provide 2 utility bills, so by the time I went BACK home to get my bills and head BACK to the rental the place was closed. So I had to use my own vehicle to go on vacation

Great, supportive rental
Pros: The team at Enterprise worked with me to get our paperwork in order; when we'd been waiting quite a while to pick up our vehicle, they let me have a better car for the same price just to save me time. They were very, very helpful.
Cons: There was no mention of needing a credit card to rent the vehicle. I only use debit, so this turned out to be a major problem. The Enterprise people were very nice about adjusting the proof of credit requirements, though, so I was able to rent the car. Had they not been, though, it would have been a major disaster - being all packed, ready to hit the road in the rental with a kid in tow, only to be rejected because I don't use credit cards. There should be clearer notice of that requirement at the time of placing the order online.

Cons: Took 30 minutes to pick up car I had already booked. Car smelled of cigarette smoke.
