Cons:There were no cars available to fulfill our reservation. The Enterprise corporate staff assured us there were cars available when we phoned the night before but then on the morning of the rental, the local office called to tell us they had none and could not fulfill the reservation. We ended up renting directly from a local Avis but it caused us a lot of headache And stress at the start of our vacation. Was very disappointing as no one from Enterprise seemed able to resolve the situation.Reviewed Sep 12 2020

Bad BusinessCons:I had a reservation made for noon. The office hours said open until 1pm. Arrived at 10 minutes of 1pm and the office door was locked. The man inside unlocked it, but refused to rent me the car. He said he didn't have the car (which appeared to be parked outside) and said the keys get locked in a timed safe and he couldn't get them out. Then I was ushered out the door after being told I could drive 45 minutes (after my ride left) to the airport to rent a car 24 hours. Will not rent again from this company :(Reviewed Sep 25 2016

Could have been a better experiencePros:Dropoff was easy and the staff who processed me in was professional and courteous.Cons:Picking up the car was not a great experience! When I arrived a lady and her child was in front of me being helped. However, a male enterprise employee -who appeared to be doing nothing at his desk- seemed hesitant to get out of his chair to help me. After several minutes he finally got out of his chair and decided to help me. His attitude left a lot to desire and I felt as if I were bothering him. After he took my information we discussed the type of cars he had available for rent. I provided an "upgrade" coupon; however, he rented me the same car as he offered prior to my coupon submission. Additionally, when he looked at the length of my rental contract (17 days) he questioned where I was going and even made a disparaging comment regarding my rental length. I felt these comments were unnecessary because I wasn't getting this car for FREE! I paid for the rental and expected no negative comments considering I was spending a $1,000! I started a tradition several years ago to visit family of service members that I served with in the Midwest and the dealings I had with this young man started the trip off negatively! Lastly, as I was inspecting the vehicle it started to sprinkle outside and instead of allowing me to conduct a thorough inspection, the Enterprise employee - who seemed to be in a rush - made the comment "it looks good!" three different times! Last time I checked I am the customer and I would be responsible if damage occurred to my rental! Being rushed made me feel as if there were things he was trying to conceal! When asked to explain what type of gas the hybrid car used, the employee wasn't sure. Additionally, when asked how the hybrid worked on "eco" mode the employee stated, "man, I don't know. I just drive it!" Clearly this employee was not customer focused or had something more important to do. When asked how much the satellite radio would cost me, the employee stated,"I'm not sure what yours will be!" Finally, I was NEVER offered to prepay for gas! I fueled the vehicle up just a few blocks down the street prior to returning;however, I would have saved approximately eight dollars if I hade been informed of the pre-pay! I will probably not use enterprise again for my annual summer trip again.Reviewed Aug 11 2017

Fast friendly servicePros:I have used many other rental car agency in the past, at enterprise the two gentlemen work were both very friendly and knowledgeable about their service.
