I signed up for Sixt through Kayak. I tried to cancel my reservation, but because it was booked through Kayak, I was unable to cancel on their website, because they said I was supposed to cancel through Kayak. But Kayak also does not assist in canceling. I emailed several times with Sixt, trying to cancel my reservation, and they never canceled it and charged me the full fee. I will not be using Kayak nor Sixt ever again for renting cars.

Avoid renting through this company and Kayak if you can help it. I paid in full and was charged $100 to cancel same day after they said pick up location could be changed….for another $200. I was searching Denver international airport and booked a rental for pick up downtown, not even sure why that was in my search results. It defaults to pay in full so I had no idea. Kayak said they have to be the ones to fix it, they said it had to be kayak. At the end of the day I lost $100 but I can only imagine what else they would have swindled us for. Never again for Kayak or this rental company.

Kayak wound up sending me the Denver City location, not the airport. The rental company made sure I was aware of that. I was not. They were super helpful. The city location is right across from the train station, and for $10 bucks you can take the train to the airport as well. It costs less to pick up in the City than at the airport.

Booked a car. Got 90% through the paperwork before they refused to rent me the car for being 23 despite them knowing that I was 23 when I disclosed it while booking. Left me stranded.

Can't really rate never pickup the car. the booking was made for the wrong location and the location I was at had no car to rent. Tried to cancel my booking but could not talk to somebody and do to technical problems with my phone I could not email. I got charged the full amount. Would like to get my money back. Claude Dumoulin

My girlfriend who had never even heard of Sixt before left the airport knowing about your commitment to employee welfare! When I checked in my car, Marcos was helpful, friendly and very fast! They give you two options to pay. A cheaper amount with no refunds or regular amount if you want a cancel/refund option. However, if you read the fine print, they will still charge you $100 cancel fee regardless of option you choose. Deceptive advertising. Will never use again.
