Cons:Did not have the car that we had signed up for when we arrived (our plane was delayed and we were the last flight in, so we were at least happy that they stayed open since it was very late). We took the car they had (what they called a small SUV -- definitely was NOT an SUV in any way, shape or form), but they told us if we didn't think it would work we could return the next day for the mid-size as they would have more then. We did return it and it was the smoothest, fastest process ever. We called ahead, they set one aside, when we showed up they had the paperwork immediately ready, and we left. It was painless considering how it could have been. Very happy with the rest of the process, great customer service reps.
Pros:Drop-off at the Boston airport site was excellent. Well organized, quick and the bus shuttle was great!
Cons:When I picked the car up, I thought I was picking it up at the airport, come to find out when I got there, the site I chose was actually in downtown Portland. Had to take an Uber to that site to pick up the car. That was disappointing! It was labeled as (at airport) on the website...that needs to be changed. Otherwise, drop-off in Boston was excellent!
Pros:Very convenient in Portland Maine, and the attendant suggested we might want to consider a four wheel drive as the storm was predicted. Excellent suggestion and worth the extra $

Pros:Got a great deal on a Lincoln MKC in Portland. Very easy check in, car ready. Very easy check out. No problems at all. EXCEPT there were a lot more fees and taxes than expressed in the deal as seen online. I frankly hate renting cars (I prefer to drive my own), but this was certainly the best experience I've ever had under the circumstances.
Cons:We were given a Chevy Impala for our trip in Maine. I should have went back to the counter when I had trouble starting the car. It finally started on the fourth try and we were off. Each time we stopped the car it was an adventure to see if it would start up again. Sometimes it did and others we had to turn the key up to 10 times for the car to start. Once running the car was fine. Got decent mileage with little road noise.
Pros:Drop-off was quick and easy
Cons:The agent who handled our pick-up was polite, friendly and efficient - no complaints. However, as with all car rentals, the check-in lines moved slowly - very aggravating, You would think that a lot of the paper work could be completed online, prior to arrival at the desk - or have self serve kiosks
Pros:I Am a Budget Fastbreak snob and gave Enterprise a shot and they were great. Clean car and great service.
