Hertz is the most convenient car hire agency to look into for car rentals at Erie Airport. The agency has longer working hours than the rest, closing its counter at 1 am. You will have ample time to pick up your rental when you arrive on a late-night flight. It also provides after-hours pick up and drop-off services on request and at a small additional fee. The agency also has an on-site location, so you won’t have to go far for a rental.
Erie Airport rental car center is located within the terminal building giving you access to all amenities in the terminal. The rental car center is accessible by wheelchair, and airport staff will help with your baggage if needed. There’s a bar and grill post security if you want a bite or drink. ATMs and vending machines are available in the main lobby of the terminal. Self-service kiosks and customer service desks are also near the ticket counter in the lobby area.
Renters must be 21 and older to acquire car rentals at Erie Airport. Renters aged 21 to 24 can only rent vehicles from limited classes and will pay a young driver’s fee. Present a valid driver’s license in good standing and a major credit in your name. You cannot rent vehicles with a learner’s permit. If your license is in Chinese, Arabic, or a non-Roman alphabet, obtain an international driver’s permit beforehand to avoid inconveniences. The permit alone is not enough to acquire car rentals at Erie Airport; you must accompany it with a license.
On average a rental car at Erie airport costs $84 per day.
In the past 72 hours, the cheapest rental cars were found at Hertz ($60/day), Enterprise Rent-A-Car ($71/day) and Avis ($74/day).
Car rental companies that offer shuttle or pick-up services from Erie airport to off-airport locations include Hertz, Alamo, Budget, and National.

Cons:
The Kia car was extremely hard to get in and out of, hard to move the front seats and was dented when I got it, so it looked shabby. Budget did not discount it because it was dented, although they certainly would have charged me if I dented it!2.0 Poor

Pros:
The staff was very quick and got me in-and-out fast on both the pick up and drop off.Cons:
The car was a crappier model than what I was expecting. There was some sort of mechanical issue that was causing vibration and noise. It smelled like it had been smoked in for all of its 14,000 miles. The steering wheel was sticky. The vehicle braked suddenly and unexpectedly while I was driving.8.0 Very good
