Fraud Alert! Renters, Beware! This place is a SCAM. Do not fall for renting here just because they offered you the best rate online. Upon check-in, they will be fine and rent you the car. However, when dropping off the car, they will deliberately find the smallest nick and charge you $250+ to repair it. They claim that they have to replace the entire body part; however we know this is not true because they rented us an old car with dents, scratches and nails in tire. They also wanted to charge us for a nail in the tire claiming that it wasn’t there when we got the car - however who is checking the tires in that detail when you rent the car? If you have driven on the island, the whole island has pot holes and you are bound to get something in the tire. They make stuff up to scam you and tell you to get your money back through your insurance. You can tell they do this to every other customer knowing people have flights to catch and are bound to them giving them a ride to the airport. I would spend the extra $50 or $100 and rent with another company. The owner and staff here are cheap and looking to make a quick buck. Disgusting. Also they rented us a car with a dead battery and we were stuck on the road for two hours during our vacation. If you want an old crappy car and even worse customer service, this is the perfect place for you. For everyone else, rent from another company. Europcar Curacao sucks.Reviewed May 22 2024
