4.0 Okay
Pros: Great location
Cons: We were promised roll away bed, but did not get one since they put us in a small room. Also, shower drain had hairball.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: - beautiful swimming pool and attentive staff. - good location -
Cons: - room service had to wake me up in the middle of the night to ask me for letting the food in which I did not order. - although the hotel was clean and tidy, but it felt ‘older’ than other Four seasons hotel that I visited before. - despite room service adding 20% of the bill as a service charge, the also add another flat charge as ‘delivery charge’!

Pros: Localization and cleaning
Cons: I was not able to pay with a simple debit card. I was forced to pay or with credit card, or with cash. I reinforce the fact that I wanted to pay with my debit card and I was not allowed and in fact the employees didn’t help and only were repeating the same instruction that they had as a internal policy . We can have internal policy however if I’ve the right as a consumer to pay the way I feel for secure and comfortable. I cannot be force to use a credit card.

2.5 Mediocre
Pros: The design.
Cons: They neglected to inform us of the jackhammer work being done above our room from 10:00 to 5:30 two days of our 4 Day 25 yr anniversary stay which was overrated at best. If we had known in advance of the work being done we would definitely not have chosen this property. They did NOT offer us a different room. Instead gave a small credit back. Very disappointing. Bad form. Unprofessional. Overpriced for everything. Drinks 23., Lunch, 300. At the pool. Not enough pool seating available. Had to use Kiddie Pool. Small Gym. Spa overpriced. The design of the Property is gorgeous, and the location is good. The breakfast is a nice buffet. But the policy of not informing paying customers and then leaving them in a horrible situation is irresponsible and unprofessional.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff was absolutely wonderful, from check-in until check-out they were there to help with every need! The hotel was very clean and the location was perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I am completely satisfied with staying in this hotel, the location for Miami Beach- is great. The hotel has beach access and own part of the beach and service of Setai guys on the beach- also nice. 9.6 Excellent
Pros: A sea of tranquility in the Miami Beach party scene. Serene, elegant, quiet, and peaceful. Just what we needed.
Cons: The restaurants, while good, were never packed. Not much of a scene or bustle here.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location great. We didn’t have breakfast, no one mentioned it. I probably missed it in the writing on my reservation somewhere. Jaya was incredible for dinner.
Cons: Housekeeping woke us up a few times. As we slept in because we were away from our 5 children and wanted to sleep more than normal. She was just doing her job though so I wouldn’t really say it was a huge negative. She cleaned very well.
7.5 Good
Cons: Some staff were inattentive at pool bar, and pool chairs were all reserved for people who obviously weren't using them. Felt like service was lacking for a nice place like the setai.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting on the beach
Cons: Very pricey for everything and then some

Pros: The breakfast buffet was scaled back since a previous visit, less choice.

I use this facility as it is more secure than sending to the country I reside in. this trip added on $100 dollars to my overall stay. not a highlight, and will be a determining factor on future bookings. I have been to hotels were this is a complementary service.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, amazing facilities, mind blowing restaurants!
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very central and is located in brickell city center. We got a 2 bedroom residence and it was gorgeous. The food from room service was delicious.
Cons: The customer services from the staff was 50/50. Some staff were very warm and helpful and other staff answer the phone “hello yeh”. There was an issue with the auto lights in the room and engineering was called several times. We were traveling with a 2 year old so the lights turning on and off after 10pm weren’t ideal. When it was brought to the front desks attention the next morning no apologies were made and I was given the impression they didn’t care.

Pros: Beautiful, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean rooms. Helpful staff. Great location further away from the noisy Ocean drive but still very close to the beach.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, staff was excellent. Extremely helpful.
Cons: Nothing. Perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant at the hotel was excellent.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was great, a quick walk to the beach and around the Lummus Park area. The on-site restaurant, Osteria del Teatro serves great Italian food, the handmade pastas are so good! The bed is one of the most comfortable as far as places we've stayed (we're pretty well-traveled) and everything was very clean.
Cons: While I would STILL overall recommend The Marlin as a nice place to stay around South Beach, there were definitely little blemishes in the experience that could have been very easy for the hotel to avoid. We knew walking in there's a daily resort fee. What I expect is if the daily resort fee is going to be charged without asking for permission each day, then what the resort fee covers should be replenished in the room daily each day without my visiting the front desk each time to ask for it (waste of time). Other than initially checking in when the room was fresh, we had to stop at the front desk to request fresh beach towels, complimentary water and we never saw a single piece of the supposed Orange Milk Chocolate. This is despite us making sure the door sign indicated making up the room and we always made sure to leave a tip for the housekeepers. Each time we visited, the front desk indicated this should be taken care of by housekeeping daily and we shouldn't need to stop by--they might need to sync up with each other. End of the day, these are little things, certainly not a big deal. But was it annoying? YES.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and the staff were friendly.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really liked how the place smelt as soon as you walked in. Let’s start there. The staff was super helpful and welcoming. The room was very clean and modern. Way more than I expected. Looks better in real life than in the pictures
Cons: That I only stayed 3 nights . I should’ve stayed longer
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, clean and comfortable room, excellent service attitude and a great restaurant.
Cons: Breakfast could be better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, silent, comfortable. :) Shower is super clean, it has a hairdryer and we asked for an iron. TV is mostly on Spanish. In general it’s one of the best hotels here (except breakfast). It is beautiful and iconic? We found pictures of it on the souvenirs. And yes it doesn’t have a rooftop or pool, but who needs it if you came here for the beach ;)
Cons: They will hold 100$ per night, and return money after the stay. Do not buy a breakfast for the price at “booking” 112$ where it is 12$ per person at the hotel. And also breakfast is not the best, we spent same 24$ and got a better breakfast at other places.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Marlin was a great experience with really good amenities

5.8 Okay
Pros: Prime location helpful staff
Cons: No windows, ventilation or balcony in ocean view room. at nearly £2k for 5 nights you would expect even a peep hole to have fresh air in room. for some reason the toilets in florida are so high its as though the toilet bowl is blocked also a really weird smell whenever you flush the toilet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I will only stay here in Miami from now on. Beautiful property, perfect beach access, great service, beautiful market for breakfast or quick food, and the rooms were all white/neutral & very relaxing.

Pros: Lobby of hotel was nice and cool. Restaurants of hotel was nice
Cons: Management of hotel was too bad.Specially women who is front desk manager. They think they are too smart too handle and solve problems but unfortunateIy, they are very amateur.I could not able to check in my room till 17.30 pm ?!? I never see something like that in my life.Smell of entrance and pool was extremly bad. It s hard to stay more than 10 minutes. They should improve a lot of things at this hotel. I think they not deserving 5 star.

Pros: The hotel’s aesthetic is bright and inviting, loved sitting at the lobby everyday they played good music and the hotel’s scent is to die for

Pros: Staff was incredible, and they were always on top of everything! I will definitely stay here again.
Cons: I have nothing negative to say about my stay
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I would like to mention especially Mr Mohamad El Csabi one of the managers that gave us very professional service
5.7 Okay
Pros: Design.
Cons: The staff of the hotel us undertrained. Absolutely unprofessional.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, great facilities and best rooms I have encountered during my holidays in the USA.
Cons: Expensive
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Faena Theater and Pao were great. The room was spectacular.
Cons: Pool food/drink staff was slow. Pool seating is limited. No internet service (not their fault). Fraudulent charges on my card the first night of the stay was strange.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The reason I chose to book a room at this hotel was simply for the decor. It is lavish and opulent if a bit quirky. There was always something to look at, be it a mural or a knickknack on the wall or even a golden mammoth skeleton. The beach was merely steps away as well, which made for an amazing moment while watching the sunrise.
Cons: A couple of eager guests were having too much fun in the hot tub while I was relaxing by the pool. Needless to say, I didn’t feel it sanitary to go in after they had left.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Customer service, luxury rooms, quick response, attention to detail. Specially the superb assistance of Reservations Manager-Chris and Front Desk lady- Solange. Both were exceptional in accommodating requests.
Cons: Loved everything
6.8 Good
Pros: Beautiful Hotel and property. The common areas are lovely and well appointed. I had a large suite and it was nice--particularly the bathoom. The room showed signs of wear with stains on one chair and also on a bench. The lighting was irritating and very dim---especially in the bathroom. One of our female friends had to go buy a makeup mirror at Walgreens to have in her bathroom so she could see her face to apply makeup. For over $600-700/night I just expect more---even in MIami which is known for overpriced hotels and horrid service. The service in the restaurants, at the pool and on the beach was terrible. Truly the slowest and most inefficient service I have experienced. Miami is not known for service with all the transient workers, but this place was truly a case of "Who's on First?". It doesn't that they auto grat at 18% which is hardly worht it. At $24 for a poorly made drink I expect someone to remember that I ordered and bring it promptly. We waited 42 minutes for one round of drinks on the beach--one round that cost over $125. We had a group dinner at the restaurant once night and it was over $250/pp and again the service was awful--with a waiter with an attitude that would simply disappear. I will never stay here again based on the service alone. The hotel is flash, but the service can't back it up. Don't waste your money and spring for the St. Regis in Bal Harbour or even the Edition which has better service. Even the Soho House is a better bet. This place is having a moment, but if they don't figure out the service then their moment will be fleeting.
Cons: Terrible service in all restaurants and bars on the property--slow, forgetful. Stains in room. Dark rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is absolutely stunning, and if you are an art lover, you would appreciate their eye for detail on the aesthetics of the whole hotel and its facilities. We were greeted by Junior who helped us with our bags, served us welcome drinks prior to check in & gave us multiple great recommendations. He was so friendly and called out to us by name everytime he saw us; true blue hospitality!! Sebastian checked us in and he was also super friendly and efficient. We were lucky to get our room by noon, which is earlier than usual, so we appreciated the quick check in. The room is beautifully appointed, very big for rooms in Miami, and had a wonderful bathroom. I loved the Japanese toilet & the shower had amazing water pressure. Not forgetting their beautiful bath amenities which smelled so good. It also had a walk in wardrobe! We enjoyed lunch at El Fuego, which was superb - everything tasted great, every server was attentive and friendly. Room service also didn't disappoint- we had the orange olive oil pancakes & breakfast burrito for in-room breakfast - it was delish. The surrounding area is also great to walk; across the street, ladies would love the Faena Bazaar for great shopping. The beach is great and there are private cabanas and umbrellas available for rent (though I wish this was complimentary for in house guests instead of chargeable, since room rates are quite high as it is). You must not miss out on the WetSpa as well. The beautiful hammam is super relaxing, and there are multiple steam rooms, as well as an ice chamber. The hotel also has plenty of live entertainment, from live bands to their own show at the Faena Theatre. I'll definitely be back if I'm ever in Miami!
Cons: That additional charges were required for cabanas and umbrellas at the pool / beach
5.5 Okay
Pros: Service at check in was horrible. House Keeping/service to room was horrible. Spa service was horrible and unreliable. Service in the restaurant was rude.
Cons: Service. No help or feedback from Manager when asked to speak with a Manager about how horrible the service was.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The clean room, amazing employees, beach and swimming pool. Nonetheless, the amazing golden elephant is legendary! On the other hand the artists has done an amazing job in resembling the Versace design esthetic into the wall art. Amazing! Will be back soon!
Cons: Nothing to dislike in this hotel! If someone dislike something here then, I don’t know what to say. The city of Miami is amazing and this hotel is beyond amazing!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Every detail!
Cons: Sometimes smells bad from the sea... the beach is not the best

9.5 Excellent
Cons: We should have known that we couldn’t park an SUV on the premises. It took 40 minutes to get them to valet. Very bad start to our stay. The coffee machine would not work, nobody to fix until engineering arrived at 08:00. When we got home around 6 PM, the machine was never looked at. Had to call again and run out for coffee. All else was excellent. Staff were the best.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cool hotel with huge, well appointed rooms!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I loved, loved how friendly and helpful Alex was! He rocks!!!He went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant!! I cant wait to return here!! The property is amazing with no expense spared on the furnishings. The location is superb!! My hubby and children thought that it was awesome too. The washer & dryers were pleasant surprises after our beach day.
Cons: There are only two things that were a bit frustrating: valet made my hubby wait over 30 minutes at 6:30 in the morning when it wasn't busy and offered no apology and housekeeping would only leave two wash cloths in the room though we asked for five. I was told that the wash cloths kept disappearing and getting ruined. This response was unacceptable at this luxury property.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are exceptional, very clean and spacious. Very modern
Cons: The pool closes a tad bit early and retrieving your car from valet can take a little time. But the staff is pleasant!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The bedroom was beautiful and the shower was so lovely and big. The rooftop pool was beautiful and we spent a few days relaxing and enjoying ourselves at this hotel.
Cons: A check in deposit was taken off my card for $600+ with no prior warning. When I checked with reception and asked why I wasn’t warned or offered to do the deposit in cash they didn’t have much to say. I think it was done in an under hand way that didn’t sit will with me on a customer service perspective.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I traveled to Miami for my wifes birthday. The hotel was extremely luxurious. The room had high ceilings hardwood floors washer/ dryer and a huge shower. The hotel floors were very quiet. It’s in a great area a large upscale mall right across the street. I would go a hundred times if I could. It’s not a cheap hotel but it’s worth it if you want to splurge.
Cons: I didn’t know before there would be a 150$ hold placed on my card per night of the stay. So if you stay four days the total charge plus 400 would be your cost.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The huge rooms. For a family of four with teenagers, the dobel queen room was perfect . The beds were comfy. Coffee machine was perfect to start the day. Near to the mall, lots of great restaurants and fast food restaurants and supermarket(all walking distance) just perfect to bring your parents and little kids . The highlight was washer and dryer in the unit.
Cons: No vanity mirror and makeup table especially for a huge room like this. And no safety deposit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very friendly & helpful, hotel was amazing & spotless
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very well designed. There was a washer/dryer, microwave and fridge in our room. Fabulous
Cons: Very minor... there were no hooks in bathroom to hang clothes or towels except in the shower.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great service! Special Thank You to Bea Y. at the reception!
