I got free upgrade to Jonior suite. The room is very large. The river view is very nice. The breakfast is excellent. The location is very close to S/U-ban (5-10 minutes walk) and a bus station is there in the front door. Also it is a 20 minutes walk to the shopping street "Ziel". Every thing was perfect.
The location is very convenient, especially when having business in the area. The rooms are very large, provided with good quality furniture and fixtures. The minibar was deserted, the room stank of chemicals (a complaint to the staff left me with the windows wide open at 10 degrees outside, but the room was not changed, no apologizes offered). The elevators take a very long time to catch, particularly in the morning, up to 10 minutes, while the stairs are to be used only for emergencies. The breakfast was very expensive (23 Euro) with a quality better suited for a two-star hotel.
This is a small and simple hotel but clean, quiet and the location could not be better. It only takes a five minute walk to the old bridge and across the bridge is already the inner city. A few steps from the hotel there is also an old world section with nice bars and restaurants.
Locarion That they say they have parking but if it is full you are screwed, which was my case. No other option but the street which is full and has many restrictions. So please put: limited parking. I only chose this hotel due to parking availability, which was not supplied in the end. And the reception guy was not helpful at all and didn't give me any more options that just say park in the street.
It was very convenient for reaching downtown Frankfurt and for getting to other nearby locations (via the Sudbahnhof just a few blocks away). The room was clean and satisfactory; price seemed reasonable. Breakfasts were very good. All the staff personnel were polite and helpful. I stayed there previously (maybe ten years ago), and if I visit Frankfurt again I would try to obtain a room there, assuming that the price structure remains about the same. The only improvement I might suggest would be an instruction sheet in the rooms concerning the operation of the remote control for the television. This is a small matter; I figured it out with the help of the maid.
Excellent location to visit Frankfurt. A 10 - 15 minute walk across the Main pedestrian bridge and through the Old Town, sees you in the heart of the city. Good breakfast. If you are lucky, parking is possible right outside the hotel, otherwise a multi-storey car park (about 10 Euros/night) is available just round the corner. Not that it's a big problem, but room spec given on-line is that all rooms have flat screen TV. All the rooms that I saw on the 5th floor had 14 inch portable TV's, certainly not flat screens. They need to change their 'spec' so that people know what they are getting. Would not deter me from revisiting, but if you are a 'business' visitor and need all the news channels, it might be a problem.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, lovely pillows, good location, very quiet at night. Various restaurants in the neighbourhood. The breakfast was very good. Great value for money. We recommend this hotel to all our friends.
It is a pleasant hotel with good location. Many restaurants in the area. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The beds were not very good. Bad pillows and mattresses. The breakfast could be better. It was ok, but nothing extra.
