Amazing hotel close to to the shopping area and the Romer. Rooms were were well furnished and the staff was excellent. I accidentally left my glasses at the hotel, and they even shipped them to another German hotel free of charge (the hotel offered to shipped to our house in the US, but we wa tee them so I er so they had no issue shipping the to our hotel in Rothenburg). Everything. Great location, great staff and nice rooms. Highly recommend.
The french restaurant, we asked to have a healthy, without animal fat dinner and we got it, it was great. We got a room, which was not made (still not cleaned).
Beautiful rooms with a great view.
A good business hotel in the centre of the city
Design and location
Central location. Great view. The staff kept hounding me for my "voucher." I explained that I booked through Kayak and there was no voucher. I showed them my receipt, emailed them the receipt twice and printed the receipt out and gave it to Laura on the second night of the stay. Then, when I check out, they ask me for the voucher again! I get back to the U.S. and get an email from them...wanting the voucher. I expect that they'll charge me twice for the room and I'll have to do a charge back through my credit card. The beds are not fit for human consumption. P.S. a "double" room does not mean two beds - it means that you get a room that does not have the toilet and shower completely open!? They charged us 40 euro/night for a roll-away.
Gym is not complementary. Free internet only in the lobby, internet in room not complementary and very expensive.
Male front desk staff.
I loved the stylish cosiness of my room & the outlook onto a beautiful old historic building opposite. I wished that there was an English language option on TV other than CNN or BBC-news only channels. Jet lag makes for some long wakeful hours in the middle of the night when tv can help to pass the time...
I loved the stylish cosiness of my room & the outlook onto a beautiful old historic building opposite. The single rooms in this hotel and very small and have a claustrophobic feel, will high ceilings and little floor space. Whilst the rooms are clean the facilities are lacking. Single rooms are OK for the budget traveller but not ideal for business.
The hotel was one of the best hotels I've stayed at recently. The staff are really nice and do not hesitate to help, the Gibson music room was a really nice touch as were the free iPads you can get for the duration of your stay. They also offer a free three hour car rent, and the food is exceptional. With open bathrooms this hotel is obviously suited for solo travelers and xouples but not families :-).
small size, comfort, service, breakfast, beds decor
Elegant; extremely clean; excellent staff.
Location was great. Staff was very kind and helpful. All I needed as a businessman was available. My room was very small but tidy. The lift was a bit lazy.
location and quality of the room & amenities no airconditioning
Good location in a residential area close to the train station. Although we had a kitchnette, there was no place to eat (only 2 chairs and a small desk) and no cooking utensils provided (only plates, silverware, cups). We had a balcony, but no chairs to put outside and sit. The breakfast was a fixed price (10.50 Euros) with no options for more or less food at differing prices, so we opted to eat at the train station. There was no reception area to sit and wait for friends to arrive and street parking is scarce.
Quality hotel: 4 star rooms Excellent location: Westend, short walk to fair
Quiet and no customer inside Extra costs like breakfast and parking were not showed before booking confirmation, and it was not mentionned that the offer excluded breakfast...
The location, really nice atention for all the staff and the betroom was so counfortable All was good
I like the location. The cleanliness was bad. The Wi-Fi was horrible.
