Cons: The assistant manager FORCED us to purchase insurance. She said we could not rent the car unless we faxed them proof of our full coverage insurance or purchased insurance through Hertz. Once we received our rental contract and saw it clearly stated it was not mandatory to purchase the insurance, we returned. The assistant manager and manager tried to argue that we did in fact have to purchase the insurance even after I specifically pointed out to them the bold capital words stating it was not mandatory. The finally refunded our money for the insurance after I threatened to contact corporate.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: They didn't have the car I reserved and tried to give me the smallest dirtiest car I ever seen. After they claimed there was no car car to be had at any of their locations, I left without a car. Don't recommend Hertz or Kayak. It's a waste of time and money.
No Car, No Notice.
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: There was no car and no notification of said failure to provide a car, which put my wife and I in a time crunch to find another car.
Luckily, after three phone calls, good old, reliable Enterprise came through.
I will NEVER use Hertz again... Of course, it's not like I used them this time. But still, NEVER!
