The SUV I rented more than 8 days before the pick up date , wasn't ready and i called 3 times. they never called me until i was 3 hours late for my pickup time , someone told me I have to rent a small car drive it to another location and pick up my desired type of car. The car smells cigarette. have rough sound from the back while driving. I tried to cancel the reservation but the lady said she can't and it has to be through her manager because I paid already for the rental, I decided to take the SUV as it was too late for me to change my plans. Adding assault to the injury ,when I returned the SUV washed in and out and full tank, the guy told me I have to pay 150$ tax , so I told him I paid everything ahead of my rental and he was .... oh let me see what I can do... as he is doing me a favor by waiving taxes, so unprofessional and annoying.Reviewed Jun 18 2021

Pros:The price was good but doesn't matter if there are no cars to drive.Cons:They completely bailed on me! They let me book a car but told me in the morning they didn't have any available. Instead of getting one for me and calling back, they closed for the weekend.Reviewed Feb 10 2021

Pros:The location was good.Cons:Horrible experience in Palm Desert Hertz. Terrible non-responsive customer service - Luis would never return a call, nor would the manager. Given a car with a smashed bumper and engine light on. Extra charges secretly added on. Go someplace else!Reviewed Feb 28 2020

Pros:Staff were friendly. Drop off was easy.Cons:The first car I picked up, I drove off and saw a "replace oil soon" light. It was reset but back on with restart. Staff was going to show me how to reset light each time. Sounds like a sensor issue. Got upgrade to SUV and it was a dream trip to Vegas via Mojave Desert.Reviewed Jul 28 2019
