The pick up was super smooth and easy and gave me a free upgrade... But the drop off was horrible - they tried to scam me by saying I damaged the car, then marked bird poo as a scratch. I lucky recorded before and after photos to show them nothing was wrong, and they took off all the fake damage money out. Its a fight but worked out in the endReviewed Apr 6 2026

My contract stated my drop off would be March 26 at 6:30 PM. I arrived 2 days early and paid $151 extra for the early rental, specifically asking twice if that was all the cost. A couple days later I sat down to read my Hertz contract and it said the drop off now was changed to March 25 at 2:30 PM. After waiting on hold for a half hour I reached a live person and telling her the issue she actually laughed and said.. no, you need to drop it off on the 25th. I told her my original contract states the 26th but that didn’t matter so I had to pay extra. They emailed me a new receipt and they had changed the drop off to 2:30 not 6:30! I called again and waited and waited. After over 45 minutes I gave up and just extended it AGAIN! I paid in good faith for a rental through March. 26 at 6:30 but instead never got what was agreed upon. Horrible customer service, Horrible experience.Reviewed Mar 30 2026
