Worst car rent experience EVER!!!Cons:I made my reservation online for a 12noon pickup and arrived 10 minutes late due to weather conditions related to Hurricane Hermine. The front door was locked and a note said the attendant was cleaning/refueling a car and would return soon. Another customer was standing outside the front door and stated she had already been waiting 5 minutes. I went around to the back door and knocked. The Hertz employee came to the door and stated he closed at noon on Saturdays. He refused to help either myself or the other customer, who was returning a car. IF THEY CLOSE AND LOCK THE DOOR EXACTLY AT 12NOON ON SATURDAYS, THEN WHY DID THEY GIVE ME A 12NOON RESERVATION???? Doesn't it make sense to make the last reservation at 11:30am??? Bottom line is the Hertz employee was rude and 100% unsympathetic to 2 customers during inclement weather. I will NEVER use Hertz again. There are too many other car rental agencies that offer much better service.Reviewed Sep 5 2016

Pros:Cost was decent compared to other rental.Cons:We waited over a half hour to pick up the car. It was outside the building and I don't believe it was cleaned at all. The rental agent did clean a very obvious large pink spot on the inside of the back door after I pointed it out to him but that was it. There was a spot on the front seat that does not appear in the pictures because they are black and white. I also noticed in the report emailed to me that I completed a survey which didn't happen.Reviewed Sep 4 2017

Pros:The agent in Salisbury was very friendly and helpful.Cons:The car did not have cruise control. The agent in Syracuse needs better Customer Service skills. I called in Saturday morning, and got left on hold for 10 mins 3 times. O I called back and she asked if she could put me on hold, I said no and she said she was helping a customer. They took my reservation, but didn't have a car!Cons:I made a reservation Thursday morning to pick up a car at the Salisbury, MD location at noon on Thursday. Soon after, I received a call stating that they "didn't have a car available at all today, because I reserved with such short notice," but they "would probably have a car tomorrow." Why did they even take a reservation for a Thursday pick up if they might not have a car available until Saturday?!?!? I got a ride to the airport and rented from Avis.THEY had cars!Reviewed Apr 27 2017

Never rent from hertzPros:No. Mention of deposit needed for rental, prepayed a week ahead of time, had deposit at time of payment. Went to pickup car, and was informed of requirement, pay day was following day, be sure you get things straight before pickupCons:See aboveReviewed Apr 24 2017
