Pros:Car was good on fuel and got us A to B, no problems
Cons:When you're entering your age into the website and go through the entire transaction you expect that your age bracket etc, has been taken into account and included in the final cost when the transaction is finalised. Not the case. I chose hertz because it was cheap and seemed to not charge me extra despite the fact I am under 25 (I found no mention of the fact there would be an extra charge upon pick- up due to this fact), so you can imagine how angry I was when I arrived to pick-up the car and was charged an additional $600... Making my total $1,100 as opposed to the $400 I thought I was paying. Not too happy, won't be returning

Pros:The location of the car rental at the airport was excellent. The agent was competent although somewhat aggressive promoting extras. The drop off agent was excellent and provided accurate directions to the airline counter.
Cons:Hertz wanted essentially over 50% of the original rental to have snow tires. This is Calgary not Tampa and they havw winter there so renting any vehicles without snow tires is unacceptable. In fact the car was not really in winter shape. So as mentioned above it was a average or less rental experience with Hertz.

Cons:Received _two_ joined sets of keys (impossible to separate them) One for each driver would be best. One for both drivers - acceptable. Two joined - stupid: heavy and uncomfortable. No one to explain how to operate te gadgets in the car.

Cons:Don't know why the survey for customer satisfaction has to be done when I first pick up the car and not at the end of the deal. Also, the survey is done in front of the service rep. So you cannot give anything negative.

Cons:We actually didn't get a car from Hertz because they didn't have one for us. Even though our Kayak request said we want a car from the Calgary airport, the option your search gave us was very far from the airport with no shuttle service!! We had no way of knowing that--we trusted that since we requested the airport, you would only give us airport information--which should be the case. It was almost a disaster because Hertz at the airport had no more cars, and didn't seem interested in helping us. Fortunately Avis next door did. Be careful using Kayak search, which doesn't stick with the request you have made!

Pros:Gave me the choice between a Jetta a corolla and another vehicle, they were friendly and will be renting again!!
