Pros:Clean and nice car

Cons:charged me $34.00 for being a little over an hour late.

Cons:Asked for a GM product, was forced to take a Ford that was much less than the GM product reserved and paid for. There were several GM products in the lot but the counter help and manager were more interested in their small talk and food rather than serving the client. You know the person that pays the bills so they can have a job. I will not likely use Hertz again because it hurts. Hurts the wallet, the quality of vehicles available, gas milage, slooooooow pick up process, and the "client does all the work" return process. For a moment I thought they were going to ask that we vacuum, wash, change the oil, and clean the windows as well.
Cons:Waited for over an hour to pick up the car. The gas tank was not working and it appeared that the car had no gas. Had to stop three times to put gas in the car over a very brief period of time. Could not even talk to service rep when I dropped it off because the line was so long.

Pros:It was easy to find.
Cons:More modern rental facilities take care of everything as soon as you pull in. They scan your vehicle, check the car over, and hand you a receipt that they print from their portable device. It would be nice to have that as a universal practice.
I prepaid $129 for a single rate day, but was charged $328. The fact that I would need a damage waiver was misrepresented to me and that was $70. So was the fact that the fuel prepay was for the entire tank, not just what I used. This cost me $84. The ticket desk lady at GRR deliberately obscured these things. Shame on the them.
