The person helping at pick up was very nice. The vehicle was good. However, when I booked the car online, I paid $71.99 rental & $18 insurance in advance. When I was sent my final receipt, I was charged $213. We rented the car for less than 8 hours & the total was over $300 for a standard SUV. If this amount is correct, I'm very frustrated this total wasn't disclosed upon renting. Now I have to spend time trying to contact Hertz to discuss or dispute charges.

The place felt disorganized. The car itself was kind of dirty and smelled like cigarettes. It was an electric car which was not fully charged - and I was overcharged when I returned it. Overall disappointing.

It was a bit chaotic at the pickup counter, apparently they were out of cars in Las Vegas? But luckily they had the large car I had booked and we were off! Great car, no issues. The people at the counter were lovely despite the mayhem.

We will never rent from Hertz again. Scheduled pickup at 9am. Not able to get car until 1 pm. Initial car at 1 then cancelled due to crack on windshield. Offered replacement scratched up and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ended up taking car with 18 inch crack in windshield. Then received bill in email for $200 in damages! Called hertz, unable to tell what damages supposedly were. Finally removed charge. Never, ever, ever again.

No problems, but I was 2nd person st the checkout counter. Agent was very good and fastest rental car checkout ever, but there are at least 10 people behind me in line when I left. Another agent was needed.

Rental was cancelled 24 hours prior to pickup and we had to scramble to find alternative method to make the three hour journey to SeaTac airport. Very inconvenient, stressful and, well, just wrong!!! Not sure I will be booking with kayak when the third party agent cancels at the last moment!
