The key fob battery didn’t work. It was hard to lock and unlock doors and once I couldn’t start the car. I was afraid to go to a store because I was concerned I wouldn’t be able to unlock the car if I locked it. There were no key holes in the doors. They wouldn’t bring me a replacement battery. They were friendly. Car smelled like marijuana and that didn’t get better.

Pros:Staff was friendly and knowledgeable and made the transaction fast and pleasant. I really liked the car and felt it was a good value.
My plans were all in place and required detail and...as I was walking out the door to pick up my car(10 minutes away)...I was called and told that no cars of any kind were available at the off-airport location! Why did it accept my rental reservation and...at the very least...called the night before! Unforgivable and something I shall not forget!
Pros:The people working with me were very nice. The car was nice and clean.
Cons:I pre-paid, because the ad said that it would create a quicker pick up. When I got to Hertz, the gentleman was working with another person. He kept leaving the room to ask someone a question. You could hear several people in the next room talking and laughing, but no one came out to help the gentleman. When he finally got to me, he informed me that I would have to go to another location ( about 20 minutes away) to get the car I reserved.(Glad I wasn't dropped off the pick up the car!) The reservation was not transferred, so there was more waiting once I got to the next place. All in all, it took me 2+ hours to pick up the car. I found that rather frustrating, as you can imagine. I was VERY late arriving at my destination.
Pros:The car was clean and nearby
Cons:The charges for the basic insurance coverage were not explained and were expensive. It was almost the same as the daily rate.
Cons:They tried to charge us $200 to rent car seats and claimed we didn't reserve them ahead of time even though I had requested them when I booked. The "manager" at pickup with rude and unhelpful.
Pros:There was nothing to like about this location.
Cons:I was given a car with unsafe tire pressure levels and one of the tires blew leaving the rental lot. Completely unacceptable, the Hertz employees showed little empathy.
Pros:Smooth, simple, efficient. This was my first time using Hertz and it was a fantastic experience
Pros:Every thing was excellent especially the pick up and drop off! No wait time on either end which is SO important at the airport locations.
