Pros:Reliable. No gimmicks. Easy. The way it should be done.

Cons:I feel betrayed because I was overcharged for this rental. My total reservation cost including taxes, fees and surcharges was supposed to be $80.66. Instead, I was charged $102.63. This was my first time using Payless and I am disappointed due to an unacceptable experience.
Pros:Car was very clean and very nice!
Cons:I ended up paying a lot more than I expected to. When I made the reservation, it told me I'd pay about $30, and I added on insurance for not much more. When I picked up the car, I paid $53. Not sure what caused the increase. Was it the taxes that increased it so much?!

Cons:How do you rent a car without windshield washer fluid in the middle of a snowstorm? Unconscionable. I almost totaled the car!!

Pros:Great deal on the vehicle I needed. Very friendly staff at pick up and also return.
Cons:Took a while to get the car as it was not ready. It did smell like it had been smoked in which I did not like.
Pros:I liked that even though Google said the counter was closed, someone was still there to help me after midnight after a delayed flight. Nice people, it was fast and easy
Cons:I was asked if I wanted to use the EZ pass it would be $3.95 per day, I didn't know the EZ Pass was not in the car. I didn't know I had to say yes I want to use it please give it to me. So I had to pay cash in all the cashole lanes.
Pros:Type of car. Return went good
Cons:When I came to pick up the car, even though I was early, the people went home for the day. They told a fellow Avis worker that they didn't have anymore rentals. I booked mine the day before! The Avis employee was lucky to be able to get into the Payless computer to complete my pickup.
