Pros:Customer service above and beyond with Rick.
Pros:We ordered economy but they didn't have one when we arrived so they offered an upgrade except they charged us! At a slight discount but still charged us. However the car was beautiful. A hybrid that got nearly 43 mpg
Cons:We had reserved a minivan, when we arrived they tried to give us an SUV that would not fit our family. I had to go back and tell them that her baggage couldn't fit in size car.
Pros:Brand new car. Free upgrading. Quick drop off.
Cons:Car was not ready on time. Had to wait an hout. Finally upgraded since original car was not available.
Pros:The car mileage, space, power, and comfort.
Cons:The counter service at Hertz was quite bad, but we got out just fine.
Pick up Agent shamed me for not calling to say I was late and my rental was taken I had no control of airlines delays
Pros:Everything was great except...
Cons:I returned the vehicle 30 minutes before the deadline, only to be reminded by the person checking me in that I had forgotten to fill up the tank. I asked to take the vehicle to a nearby gas station to fill up, but he would not let me, despite the fact that I still had 30 minutes on the rental. He charged me around $10 per gallon even though I was perfectly fine filling it up myself for 1/3 the price and had the time to do so.

Pros:Friendly staff answered our questions and worked to resolve any issues that came up. Nice vehicle in good shape. Super easy drop off.
Cons:Another customer was told to take the same SUV. But the staff did move us to a bigger and newer vehicle so it worked out well for us.
Pros:The staff was very helpful and made the pickup and drop-off process easy
Cons:My rental was for a one-way, cross-country trip. While I was on the highway, one of the tires blew due to being incredibly worn and completely bald. One of the other tires was also completely bald, and I'm very luck it didn't blow as well. Hertz knew how far I was driving, but regardless, they should never have rented that car until the tires were checked and replaced.
