HEADACHES AT HERTZ.
Pros: The office at the pick up location smelled nice.
Cons: The location did not have my car size on the lot at the Hollywood location on Pembroke Rd. I took a small SUV: Nissan Rogue as thats all they had. It did not fit me; I'm 6feet 6in and 280lbs. The location said they anticipate a full size arrival the next day by 11am. I called on Friday; they dont have a full size. I had to drive 17miles to the Miami Lakes location to pickup the Full Size car 1 day after my pick up day.
I had to delay my vacation. The only compensation I got was a free 1/2 tank of gas or 8 gallons @$2.43/gal which equals $19.44 for all my troubles.

Good except for the wait
Pros: Car was new and clean, check-in was fast and no-nonsense
Cons: Waited for 30+ minutes for someone to come to the check-in desk. The staff member was excellent but she was the only person on staff and it seemed like she was left alone to do all of the work.

Fort Lauderdale poor customer service
Pros: Nothing. Never used the service
Cons: I was not granted my a car.
They advised me that they had no cars available even with a reservation. Went to several rental places. Not one car available.
