Pool area and lobby were very nice. They looked like they have been updated in recent years. Staff was great. Check in and out was fast and easy. Very convenient location. Quiet and comfortable.
Rooms are getting outdated. I noticed some rusted door nobs. Hate paying for parking even though I could expense it. Not really a resort.
Nice pool area and lobby. Easy check in and out process. Fast and responsive room service
It costs $12 a day to park. $14 if you valet. Old decor in the rooms
The location is excellent if you need to be close to the airport.
Kurt reception at the desk. Maybe it was my attire as I just completed work, but should that matter? I think not! The lobby area portends to encourage "dayum, this is gonna be nice" but once you walk down the hallways it starts to set in. The drab and dreary decor starts your depressing decline as you close the distance to your room. Once the door opens you then realize they have one of those Hollywood photographers. Shooting all the right angles to make this glorified Super 8 Hotel into a "resort". Plus they charged $15 for parking! The bathrooms were a joke! The shower was a tub as well but was really small. It was like a converted closet. Just odd. But of course I had the "city view" into the adjacent parking lot... Madison Ave glitz in marketing, but skid row in reality...
Room was cute. Nice pool area.
I booked a standard room the day before we arrived and paid $162 online; when I went to check in they told me that my booking was canceled. My money was deducted from my bank account and I received no email saying my booking got canceled. The guy didn't really put much effort into explaining what happened, he just made me pay for another room again. So I basically had to pay for the room twice... When we first walked into the hotel room, there was trash everywhere from the people before us. The bed was made and fresh but there were towels on the floor, reciepts on the floor, wrappers, and bags everywhere. The complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and lotion were knocked over and the room was pretty messy. I don't like to complain so my boyfriend and I just picked it up ourselves.
I really like the atrium pool area. Very attractive and comfortable
Skip the shuttle and just walk across the street.
Staff was very pleasant and helpful.
Silverfish, low quality furnishings/accessories, rusted drains, rough towels, dirty carpet. Basically a motel 6/budget inn with a nicely renovated entry lobby area. You get what you pay for and definitely worth spending an additional $50-$100/night for better quality experience. Can't recommend this hotel.
Nice sized room. With comfortable bedding and clean linens. Easy check in and check out process. Appreciated the complimentary WiFi
It would've been nice to know that there was a fee for parking. Also, some of the staff were exceptionally rude as I tried to call with questions. Had to use my own phone because the phone in the room didn't work but didn't complain about that. When I did go downstairs, front desk staff was more interested in carrying on their conversation than helping me and when talking to me, staff were very rude and contrite. Not very friendly in taking with me or making me feel welcome.
the staff were really friendly!
the hotel is definitely outdated.
Wheres the staff ? Wheres the communication ? Wheres my reservation ? They couldnt find anything even though a fax with a confirmation was sent hours ago.
Room service was tasty and not crazy expensive. All staff members were very friendly and professional. Pool/lounge/bar area looked cool, though I only walked through on this trip and didn't actually partake.
Bathroom was clean, but felt old and dingy. Shower was an awkward size - too small to be a real bath tub, but had a bathtub wall so maybe a very small person could enjoy a bath?
Faucets are noisy, walls are thin. Pool and courtyard are nice
It is past its prime
Room was clean and bed comfortable.
The bath room was cramped with a toilet that was almost impossible to get down to and up from for an elderly person and with no hand holds the action generally required assistance. Even though a preference for handicapped access was stated we were give a room with stair access. The Hotel obviously caters to air travel. Chages for parking and parking access is poorly represented when selecting a Hotel choice.
Overall, it was a good comfortable hotel that was average but still comfortable.
Very nice lobby, grounds. Pool and bar by the pool was great. Bed was comfortable with newer look.
Bathroom was outdated. Furniture (dresser and night stands) were cheap and outdated.
Did not know there was a limit to people standing in a room and talking. Had 8 people for 2 rooms but only 3 stayed for the room. They said only 4 people per room which we had but we had all 8 in one room. Again only three people stayed the night for two rooms with two beds.
Pool area was nice to relax in
just an average hotel. Need more outlets for charging mobile devices.
It was nice and quiet. And at a reasonable price. Will be going back for sure when needed.
Twelve dollars a day for parking. Only 2 towels in the room and on the second day one was removed and not replaced. Towels are thin and worn. Staff at front desk are not friendly or helpful and at times can be rude. Banquet service is poor. Fifty dollars for a pot of hot water. Lobby is nice but behind that things a shoddy and old.
