I liked the location; it was easy to get into and out of. I was disappointed to learn they do not accept pets. Jasper could conceivably be an evacuation point for hurricane victims from the Beaumont area, and many of them have pets they won't leave behind. There are some motels in the area that do accept pets.
The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. There was a free breakfast and cookies in the evening. Our card was charged for the cost of the room plus 10%. No one told us about the extra fees and that they would fall off.
I advised desk, husband and I are travel agents. She didn't accept my credentials. No one, at the front desk, knew how to help w/the Free Internet Access. They advised instructions were our room. They weren?t.Couldn?t dial out to tech support.7am wakeup call came at 7:30am.I asked for comment card. The same young lady that checked us in, the night before, stated we would receive it in the mail and verified our address.Still waiting.Hotel is brand new, clean and beautiful bathrooms.Loved the mirrors, our view of the pool and tall trees in background. One night was like a second honeymoon!
The hotel was very clean, good breakfast . excellent staff N/A
A beautiful place to stay!!! Over and above my expectations!
The room was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. No
The bed...the mattress was so comfortable we thought about staying another night. The breakfast was awesome too. The price isn't very competitive .
Hotel was convenient for visiting family in the area. It was nice enough, hotel staff were polite and quick and efficient. Room was typical of a Holiday Inn Express, hot shower, cold AC and clean linens. Of all the Jasper hotels, it's the best. Room has a bit of wear and tear one of the chairs was very badly torn & worn through. The bathroom and desk areas were very dusty, enough to write messages in with your fingertip. Maybe my room just hadn't been used in a while? Otherwise the stay was fine

The bed was SOOO comfortable! The lady working the breakfast buffet was amiable and helpful to all.
First, the photos linked to this hotel are NOT the Econolodge in Jasper.\nChecked into the hotel on a Sunday evening, having reserved a nonsmoking room. The first room we were given smelled strongly of smoke; called front desk and was moved next door. (Both of the rooms were marked on the door as nonsmoking.) The second room also smelled of smoke, but not quite as strongly. As we investigated further, we found hair on the bathroom floor and tub, DIRT in the bedsheets, and cigarette burn holes in the comforter - not very comforting. We reloaded the car and were prepared to leave, but the manager insisted we try one more room. We were put in a handicap accessible room, which I believe was only clean due to lack of use. We okayed the stay, just because it was getting late. When we got into the bed, we noticed there was a plastic mattress cover, making for a very uncomfortable night's rest. There was a poor quality television in the room and one of the cable channels was frozen. I've stayed in many hotels in my life, but this was the absolute worst.
Price No vent in bathroom. No lock on bathroom door . Linen looked very worn. Sheets had hair that did not belong to me. Musty smell. No coffee pot, hair dryer, or iron.
The complementary breakfast...Especially the 'Do-It-Yourself' Waffles! Could have gotten a better price by just calling straight to the hotel. Could've saved $7...
NOTHING! Didn't like the fact that there were no light bulbs in the lambs. Cigarratte burns in comforter and sheets ( in a non-smoking room). The tub filled up as I was taking a shower due to a clogged drain. It was a disgusting, sleezy motel. DO NOT GO THERE!
Courteous staff. Breakfast was advertised, but only juice (with a dessert) was being provided in the breakfast. I wouldn't assume it to be a breakfast.
It was clean The area
The Hotel was rated as 2 star. Not even close to -1 star.
The price was very good The hotel was not nice at all and I would not think it child friendly at all. Towels were yellow and stained as well as the sheets. Base boards & doors were in great need of paint and repair work. Breakfast was 2 muffins, juice and coffee in a nasty pot
the rooms was ok but was smell to them THE FIRST NIGHT THEY WAS COCKROACCHES CRAWLING EVERY WHERE AND THE ROOMS SMELLED LIKE MD AND THE FURNITURE IN THE ROOM WAS NASTY AND OLD .I HAD TO BE MOVED TO ANOTHER ROOM CAUSE ROACHES WAS SO BAD AND THE THE NEXT NIGHT COME IN ROOM AND THERE A FROG JUMP.
Was given double instead of king I booked. Then was given a king room that smelled so bad our eyes watered. Went back 3rd time, was given double that smelled bad too. Was told when checked out, that they didn't have the capability to give me a receipt.
Hotel room was very quiet and comfortable with a great bed Air conditioner could use upgrade
The beds were comfortable. It was better than camping. Dirty.
The breakfast The sheets in the first room had a blood stain on the sheets that was dry and the lady at the desk said it looked fresh as if it came from me. They moved me to another room and it was ok
Do not stay there, the pillows and sheets are dirty, the whole room was dirty. The sheets were old and rough.
Cheap and located where I needed to be. Quiet. Refrig and ac worked just fine. Office was closed on Sunday morning when I went to check out. No apparent way to contact management. No security lock on door and deadbolt would not engage. No coffee maker in room.
Drug activity goin on in room next door.
Easy check in and good price. Stated a free breakfast but it was not free. Did get 25% and that was okay. Just think they need to be clear on what is free and what is not.
Front desk staff were friendly Very dated. Breakfast was coffee and packaged donuts
Very nice and helpful staff. Needed paint
They had the best massaging shower heads I've ever felt, I really enjoyed it. They didn't have a big selection of breakfast items, only two things and coffee.
I reserved a room with 2 beds because I was staying with a friend. When I arrived, I was told that my room was given away and the only room type left was a single bed. I had to share a full size bed with another adult male for 3 nights because of the mistake that was made. Also, the TV reception was hit or miss.
