management needs training for guest issues. housekeeping had to be called/contacted every day for extra towels (3 guest in 1 room)
Close to everything and very clean had a great time here definitely coming again.
Booked just off the interstate while driving home from the Adirondacks. Was checked in and in my room 10 minutes later. Local pizza place was willing to deliver late into the night. Rooms were clean and spacious. Continental Breakfast could've been better
The staff was very friendly, the location was ideal and the value will bring me back Nothing
The hotel was very clean. The staff was very friendly. The area was very safe. I would recommend staying here. The only problem was their little area where they sold stuff. Usually a hotel has a place to buy aspirin, toothpaste, etc, in emergency cases but theirs was very under stocked. And when my girlfriend and I went to enjoy the pool it was filled by a ton of screaming kids (not the hotels fault). But besides that the hotel was excellent.
Very clean. Large room!
Staff was pleasant. Everything was clean. We spent the weekend there, and it fit all of our needs. It was just a couple minutes from the lake. Very centrally located. I would stay here again. The outside pool had leaves in it. It should be cleaned a couple times a day.
Clean Bat flew into room, drinks in plastic cups, expensive Mattress uncomfortable, had. To hang sign on door if you wanted Room cleaned. no food at hotel.
i liked that the rooms where clean, that the floor was ceramic tiles and not smelly carpet. we didn't stay long enough in the hotel room to be able to answer.
Good location We stayed on the bottom floor, smells very musty. Room was clean but smell was a bit to much
Pool is good There is no air conditioner in the room, it's about 80 degrees there
clean and comfortable, great location, walking distance to practically everything Staff was uninformed, had trouble checking in, other guests were a bit uptight,
Location was close to Million dollar beach. Room was outdated, saw many ants crawling. The staff were not friendly.
Pool facilities was nice and tiki show was great , location right out side town was a plus They didn't clean our room the whole trip , expensive breakfast for a father and two children
Staff was friendly, rooms were clean upon arrival, and location was great. There is a new wing attached to the main building and an older building. We stayed at the older building (not knowing there were two seperate buildings). The rooms in the old building had updated fixtures but the molding, doors, and paint were outdated, chipped, or falling off. The bathrooms were very small. The showers are definitely not made for anyone over 6 feet. Only problem we had with cleanliness was we would often find towels and sheets that were still dirty after house keeping came. Lastly the beds were hard as a rock, both my fiance and I would wake up with some sort of back pain.
The pool in door/out door So clean oh, and nice music by the pool and the employees so nice The ice machine didn't work, But not a biggie
Good for a quick one night stay Wash basin was full of liquid upon check-in, Corner lamp didn't have bulb and hair drier was not working
The staff really needs to crack down on all the loud guests that stay there. Stayed there for two nights. First night had a bunch of people hanging out in the hall way and yapping away all night. Second night, crying babies and loud adults. Sounded like there was 8 people in a room. I would give them a 2.5 to 3.
staff very friendly use a different rug deoderant in rooms and hallways
Most everything was great. The hot water wasn't very hot.
great customer interaction very polite use different deodorizer in hallways and room, room where clean.
The continental breakfast was great, my son Loved the fresh waffles. With the indoor and outdoor pool and the jacuzzi there was something for everyone. The staff was very helpful and friendly as well. Location was great just off Rt9 and close to all the attractions. Also, when you stay in that hotel you get free parking at the Fort which is a huge bonus! The Fort is walking distance from the beach and village attractions. The bathroom was rather small and the sink area was outside the bathroom with not much space on the counter. Beds were only double, not queens. But they were comfortable.
The staff was polite. The part of the motel we stayed in was beyond dated and it was very apparent that the owners have done very little to improve the condition of the facility; the outside seating consisted of two small bright blue plastic slat tables & two sorely used chairs. My friend and I just looked at one another and simultaneously said, "Really???" Over all the interior was not dirty but it was very dated; the rug however looked like it needed a GOOD cleaning; the beds were surprisingly comfortable - which was a welcome surprise. My friend and I were in Lake George school shopping at the outlets for our grand children and due to our poor planning were unable to get a room elsewhere, consequently we ended up at the Travelodge. The location is prime; on top of a rise so there are excellent views. This motel seems to capture the overflow from the other motels and appeared to be well occupied; in light of this, I question why the owners have not reinvested in the property to make, ATLEAST, some aesthetic upgrades; it could be a nice place to stay, it's a shame...
Location Room smelled. Bathroom needed updating. Breakfast had dried Danish, very basic options
I didn't like that the room wasn't updated. The tv is not modern at all. For the price I paid I was expecting it to look a lot nicer. I felt like they over charge for a room that's not even worth it. I didn't sleep at all and was uncomfortable. The breakfast was alright. The breakfast room was hot and crowded. The whole place needs to be renovated. My thing is I would have felt better knowing I didn't pay so much for a place that looks run down. Not impressed.
The rooms were not overly expensive, especially considering this was a holiday weekend. If you desire a 5 star hotel and plan on staying indoors the whole time, you might want to check out another spot. However, we were outside most of the time, using the lake, watching the fireworks and sitting on the outdoor tables that sat up o a high hill overlooking magnificent Lake George. The room was adequately clean, the beds were extremely comfortable and the staff was absolutely lovely. Breakfast one morning was quite crowded but you could always eat outside or go back to your room if that disturbs you.The hotel was full but you didn't get the feeling you were in a tight crowd as rooms were soundproof and there was a nice amount of property to walk around. We actually had some good laughs with the staff who were friendly and upbeat the whole time. Take the family or just go with your significant other. You will enjoy yourself. There was not much not to like. We got a non-smoking room and I didn't smell anything although my partner said there was a slight smell in the room, however nothing that bothered me and I have quite the nose for smells!!! At breakfast we all seemed to have difficulty with the toaster but , honestly, is that something that should ruin your day? Some people were pushy and verbalized their frustration over minor things at breakfast but that in no way reflects upon the facility or management........................and I say , Hey folks, relax, you are on vacation. Let the anger go!!!!! The pool was smaller than in the website photo but still adequate and clean.
They had bed bugs in room 219
Friendliest staff ever. Very accommodating, let us check in early, gave us extra sheets and pillows etc... Greeted us in the morning at check out. The unit may look a little out dated, but inside it was clean and well taken care of considering. Can't beat it for the price, and would definitely consider another stay.
Small place, clean and close to town 1/2 mile walking distance. If you want a cheap clean bed, this is the place, you want fancy go some were else.
We liked absolutely NOTHING this establishment had to offer besides location. It's February and record low temperatures. The heat in the room didn't work, the maintenance didn't do much about it and we were given a small space heater to heat our room. It was extremely unclean, outdated and overpriced. The walls and ceiling were coming apart. The sheets and comforters were stained and well worn. The worst was finding BED BUGS. We were bitten up and down our bodies and found these disgusting critters in our clothes. While outside having a cigarette, we met a few of the "staff" who told us the property manager/owner confines them to the basement. We can only assume that these poor people were possibly illegal immigrants trying to make a life for themselves under incredibly horrible and inhumane conditions. I have no idea how this establishment is still in business. We were charged $122.09 for one night's stay. Honestly, I wouldn't have stayed there if they paid me. Please, for your own health and well-being, DO NOT BOOK THIS MOTEL.
location was ok and it was cheap Gross gross gross. Windows didn't lock and the manager told me not to worry about it since "this place is safe, relax man" Kitchen was gross, couch had huge stains, spiders, bullet holes in the window, playground was derelict Disgusting! Pay more and go somewhere else
