Right in the centre a of Malaga and a real "shoppers heaven" also close to the cathedral and other attractions. Lovely jucuzzi baths which light up. Great showers. Having a lap top in the room was a bonus. We found the staff at reception quite helpful. There are no safety rails on the bunk beds. In general the beds are quite solid. Breakfast was not worth the money. Alternatively there are a couple of nice cafe's in the area. As the hotel is in a pedistrian zone your taxi will not be able to deliver you to the front door.
Great room - good facilities. Bright, clean, modern and extremely comfortable.
We have booked to stay in a 'sister' hotel in Salamanca in September
Location was great, rooms very modern No swimming pool but we already knew that
Cleanlines of the hotel was excellent, breakfast good, Location is the best in Malaga. TV-rack was strange and inconvenient, you can easily break your toes with that. Wall rack would be much more convenient.
everything. and in particular the ensuite jacuzzi in the bath coffee machine was,nt working for breakfast. a bit petty, i know
The hotel was nice, and our children enjoyed the bunk beds in the room.
The hotel is modern and very nice. It even has a computer in every room with free internet access. It does not have a parking and the public parking (between 17-20 Euros per day) is 3-5 blocks from the hotel
Location was fantastic, rooms were very nice No swimming pool
A boutique hotel, right in the centre of old Malaga...............excellent
The best part about this hotel was the location. It was nice and quaint and very close to great shopping food and drinks. Only 15 mins from airport- 20euros. The rooms were a bit small. No irons available- must send all clothes to the laundry to be ironed at a pretty outrageous rate. The food was just okay. No late night menu. Went to the bar which stays open til 2am but no food there either. Teeny tiny pool with literally 6 lounge chairs.
Absolutely fantastic, 5* hotel excellent staff, we upgraded to Junior suite 101 ask for this if you want the perfect romantic break No coffee facilities in the room!
every thing was perfect
The Hotel, staff, room and location were all excellent. I liked the valet parking, nice touch. I had a room service meal one evening, it was very good, well priced and arrived quickly. I will definately stay here again. I'm being really picky here but newxt to the workdesk there is only one socket. l had to purchase an adaptor so that l could use my laptop and the desk lamp. The free WiFi connection always showed as 'poor' but the desk will always lend you an ADSL cable.
Fresh hotel, fairly good location for shopping. Our room faced the main street outside and it was far from soundproof. In addition, as it was raining, the raindrops hit the arcroof of our window and it felt like sleeping beside a dripping bath-tap. When we told the hotel personnel about this it was no real interest in the subject.
I thought the reception staff and the porters of this hotel were absolutely wonderful. They were exceptionally pleasant as well as being proud of their hotel and efficient. Our bedroom was on the first floor at the front of the hotel. Despite having double-glazed windows, it was dreadfully noisy. The street outside is very busy and the bay window in the bedroom seemed to draw the noise into the room in a way in which a normal window would not. It was a real nuisance and we were woken on and off throughout the night as well as early in the morning on each of the 3 nights we spent in the hotel.
Location of the hotel only cable internet in rooms, should be wifi
complementary drinks in bar no internet, no dressing gowns no slippers no towels at the pool area all these things were offered prior to booking
I liked the comfort of the room, the excellent facilities, and the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. I have no complaints.
Excellent location and spacious bedroom The bed was not very comfortable, old & creaky!!
the fact that although the hotel was in the city centre it had a roof top pool so you could also s[end time relaxing and chilling out
The location is excellent
The location and friendliness of front desk staff Extremely slow service in the bar, where we ate. The fact that the Atico bar was closed for a private function. The lack of a ramp at the front entrance with no staff to help with luggage, as we arrived.
It`s within easy reach of the main sites of interests and city facilities. It`s roof top swimming pool and restaurant are idyllic! It does not have its own garage but your car is parked by Hotel staff. A/C in the room was not efficient enough. In hot weather the room felt uncomfortably hot.
Our room was too hot, preventing us from sleeping well, and when we opened the window it was too noisy to sleep! When we complained we were told that the air conditioning was not available at that time of the year. We would not stay with you again in the hotel before checking that this was avaiable for the time we planned to be in Malaga.
This is probably the best hotel in Malaga, and we were afforded one of the best rooms with a viev across the harbour. the location is perfect.
Apart from the location and the receptionist who was extremely professional and ready to help nothing else to mention. For a 4 stars hotel, the premises were poor, the bed for 2 people was 1.20m large! The ceiling had humidity spots and the smell in the room was not great. The air conditionning was making a lot of noise. Difficult to find and to access the hotel with the car.
friendly staff a bit further from centre of town than I would have liked
the location of hotel is superb.it has amazing views and the staff are very helpful and friendly
location was excellent relative to the beach and restaurants; the staff was friendly and bi-lingual; continental breakfast was wonderful; hotel was clean and scent free. The timing of the room cleaning service was irregular, it was therefore impossible to plan your mornings/early afternoon... the sauna, jacuzzi and gym facilities were only available between 4pm to 10pm from mondays to saturdays, I wished they were available at my leisure.
Its proximity to the city centre. It was not sufficiently clear that parking was off street by the hotel porter
the location was great, with an amazing view from our balcony
Staff were excellent. Receptionists really friendly and helpful. Perfect location for the beach and only 10 minute walk to the main toursit cites and town centre.
Spacious room and well maintained. Hotel Car Parking expensive. There is a public car park behind the hotel so probably much cheaper to park there yourselves.
Staff extremely helpful, friendly & efficient.
Close to the beach for outdoor activities, hotel gym and easy access to the centre. Free internet access is very dependent on where your room is located in the hotel. I had no connection ap 50% of the time.
I have visited the hotel on a few occasions before and I would recommend its central location Reported broken hairdryer ( it smoked when plugged in) never replaced.Kettle in room broken replaced with another broken one.Towel rack in bathroom had screws hanging from wall.Hotel seemed to have a very low level of staff and so very not able to deal with guests as one would expect.I ordered poached eggs on final morning as breakfast for my wife and I. Eggs never arrived despite asking twice, was still charged 32 Euros!. I complained but no satisfaction given just empty "We are sorry". No rebate on breakfast charge though.
i liked only two of the staff members. The beds were comfy. Showers were nice. Food was pretty good as were the prices of breakfast. The housekeeping and staff and laundry services were perfect. Too much money for what we got. Management is lacking. Pool is a bit too small. Got ignored in the dining area. Really loud construction right next to us on the street by us.
Size of room, location, room design Noice from the street
Great location. Larger than expected rooms, and bathroom. Very clean. Would have preferred a larger bed rather than two twins (on wheels) pushed together. Very small balcony, and pool.
The street noise was neverending with people coming out of pub, clubs, refuse being collected, streets being hosed and tables and chairs being put out. We got no sleep.
Cental, style modern,
Grade A service and food
The location (in the town center) and the hotel staff making your stay agreable!
The location is excellent and the quality also. Exceelent choice for a long weekend.
Great location. The staff was very kind & helpfull (especially Miguel in the reception). Nice & clean room.
Great location near restaurants, shops and historical venues. Good food. Rooms were clean and modern. Staff was very helpful. We asked for and were given interior rooms that were very quiet. No irons or ironing board in the room and when we were given one on request, it twice shorted out the electricity on our entire floor (which is probably why they're not in the rooms to begin with). They do have an ironing service in the hotel which we didn't use.
Design, comfort, roof top pool area No films available on tv and small tv
Beautiful Design. Delicious breakfast!
Superb location and very stylishly furnished. Window faced directly onto wall which was about 1 metre away.
Excellent service from attentive staff and a very good buffet breakfast. The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Malaga. Although there a lot of very good restaurants very close, sometimes a restaurant offering a full menu gives you the option of dining in.
Excellent location and efficient, friendly staff.
The location of the hotel is perfect no gym
I liked the boutique style and decor and good value/ breakfast up to 12 noon. Excellent location for shopping and beach and walking distance from the train station. Liked everything other than no shaver/toothbrush socket in bathroom.
The proximity to the major sites in Malaga and of course its location right on Marques de Larios, one of the best places to shop while in Malaga! We also loved the roof terrace with the views of the cathedral and Alcazaba lit up at night.
Location is fantastic, This is our second stay at the hotel in a junior suite which over looked the square. There is a 30 minute walk to the beach and you can stroll through a lovely park on route. Breakfast is on until 12 noon which means it is never crowded. The sound of chairs being scraped along the floor at breakfast on both stays we were above the breakfast room but it did not spoil our stay, we would stay at the hotel again.
central location, spacious rooms
excellent position in the heart of the city, wide, clean and super confortable room the stair at the entrance leading to the lift: if one has a lot of luggage is a bit unconfortable. However, as it is due to the fact that the hotel is in the very heart of the city, is a reasonable price to pay.
Nice big rooms. Good location.
Very convenient for town centre, polite staff. good breakfast
cleanliness of my room They speak only spanish....
room was clean and comfortable, bathroom was very good. breakfast choice was excellent.
Good central location. Ideal for shopping and for visiting museums and cultural sites. Good value for money. Breakfast time can be very busy and free tables can be hard to find. Quality of coffee very poor but overall breakfast good.
Cleanliness, location and friendly staff
very good location , good b'fast , hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.
Nice comfortable room and bathroom....easy access to picasso and shopping Walls were a bit thin .. we could hear our neighbours talking and people in the corridor.....staff on our shift not very well informed on local activities I.E. where to find music and other.....difficult bringing case up entrance stairs.
Location in the centre of Marbella. Noisy, old, badly kept. The beds are very poor.
The location of the hotel was ideal for the shopping area ,just a short walk to restraunts bars etc and great for bus service to airport. No interaction from staff on reception either on arrival or departure. Very helpful however when approached for directions/ tourist info /bus routes etc
The hotel was lovatede very central in Malaga Som annaing disturbance fra other guests - the walls wasn't very soundproof
Excellent place to stay, but you do need a bus or taxi to get to the city centre
Lovely room and first class facilities. Comfortable. Great bathroom.
the scenery from the hotel was lovely and the staff were very efficient and professional. nothing
The building was fine, location ok and the view wonderful The room was small and the resturant food poor
staff, clean, breakfast choice minimal
Room excellent. View superb. Pool first class. Food marvellous. Service very good. None!
breakfast was really beautiful and I loved the little barlcony of room. too dificult to get booking^^
Wonderful location with views over the sea & the city from the terraces; excellent room with first class cleaning & provision of toiletries; great view from room balcony; polite & efficient staff. Good hotel facilities, including pool. An excellent hotel. Expensive food on both terraces but a reasonable selection in the restaurant.
Welcoming staff. Dining: good choice; high quality. Super views over the port.
We stayed at Room Mate Valeria for our honeymoon last month and had a wonderful time. The room was beautiful and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff was always extremely helpful and friendly. The rooftop bar was great and a nice option to come back to at the end of the day. The location of the hotel was also perfect - walking distance to everything, right across the street from the water, right near the bus station, etc. - but was also relatively quiet at night. We would highly recommend this hotel to any travelers!
Excellent value for money. Very central for city. Comfortable room and I loved the unusual, modern artwork in every area of hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Central location. Would like to have had a room which didn't face on to the street as the street was noisy.
not a lot I had thought it would be an unusual place to stay, from having seen the photos on the Internet. However, when I was there in person, I found the whole place had a seedy and tacky feel. The art hanging all over the hotel was very poor. Combined with the red bedcovers and the burn hole in one of them from a cigarette, we did not really enjoy our stay. Also, the wall was paper thin between us and the room next door. Finally, the holder for holding up the shower head was broken, which was a bit annoying, but as we were only staying for the one night and were tired, we didn't bother to complain.
Very convenient position. Very unusual design - exciting place to stay in.. Good facilities. Breakfasts could be better and in a better room.
very convenient for the most interesting part of the old city and within walking distance of the most important historical and cultural sites; a wide choice of bars and restaurants close by, and a characterful cocktail bar just across the street! the street is very busy almost all the time, so it was noisy during the early hours of the morning, making sleep difficult
Location of hotel Cleanliness of hotel The guy working the night shift was very co-operative and pleasant, he helped us with a minor problem in the room and he suggested places to eat out. We encountered three members of staff during our visit, two of them very pleasant and attentive to our requests. The girl working the desk when we checked out was dismissive to the point of bordering on rude.
Hotel well run and in a great location for a city break. Staff do not speak much English but were very helpful and pleasant. Single rooms were very small and bed was as small as they come! But very nice shower bathroom so overall good for just a short stay.
Location Location to my friends apartment No windows in the room to the outside made my wife feel 'closed in' or clausterphobic.
The decor It was so noisy we could not sleep well - this is the reason I wouldn't recommend it . There may have been quieter rooms at the back of the hotel - we were on the street
Location, comfort of rooms, price, lift, helpful staff. No public rooms i.e lounges etc.No cafeteria/restaurant, but a good cafeteria across the road. I would certainly recommend this hotel. No complaints at all. Great value for money in an excellent quiet location
Very nice staff. Location excellent. Rooms clean and nice
they didnt clean the towels
The staff was very helpful and the location was perfect! Nothing to comment here..I liked it a lot.
Very centrally located!
Excellent position too! Didn't get to use Hotel parking option, found on-strret space instead so can't comment. On that note, - maybe a detailed map (poss last 1/2 kilometre) to get you to the front door. Didn't have much of a view from my room, didn't worry me so much as I was only there overnight, - something you might want to think about if your staying longer.
Friendly staff, quick check in, sound local knowledge Bed side lamps broken/no bulbs
Room was clean and suitable for an overnight stay - the bathroom was particularly good!! The bedspreads had a couple of minor cigarette burns but otherwise all was good
Staff were particularly friendly and helpful. Location was close to everything I wanted to see. This seemed quite expensive compared to other establishments providing similar facilities.
Great value for money. The staff was excellent, parking very close. Can recommend this hotel to anyone.....only 2 mins walk to the cathedral
Good location, large room on top floor of the hotel, staff helpful, cleanliness good, small balcony A man in the breakfast bar recommended by the hotel was rude and "couldn't care less" so we only ate there once. There was a light from a fuse box (?) above the main door which shone in the bedroom all night, there was only one hairdryer in the hotel which my friend borrowed and had to return immediately. There were also ants on the bedside tables and in the bathroom. These were quite minor aggravations though.
clean room, acces to the internet and helpful receptionist had no hair dryer in the room and view from bedroom window..:(
helpful staff, hotel within walking distance of city centre family room not available as booked so had to accept 2 seperate rooms with our 2 children. Bed in room broken and had to be resited further apart from family. Parking not secure with late night revellers entering car park and vomiting on vehicles.
Great comfort and location comparing to other hotels we've seen in Spain.
Great location, very reasonable price and friendly staff. Looks like all rooms have balconies overlooking the port. Didn't replace shower gel, shampoo etc every day.
The position is strategic, next to the Plaza de Toros and few minutes from the center (even if you have to cross a noisy tunnel) The room is basic for a 3 star. The bathroom was not particularly clean and full of ants. I have seen much better 3 stars hotels...
Good location in a central and very quite area. Cleaning room is set in the morning late and the early afternoon.
Nice location. Small but convenient.
The best thing about this hotel is location, just 10 minutes walk from Malaga castles, city historical centre, and the beach. It is very nice and clean, it looks better in reality than in pictures:-) The staff was very nice, but they could speak more English. The hotel would be even better if they served breakfast.
Location, price. Very easy to reach hotel by bus from airport. Bad smell in the room.
Clean and nice hotel with a good situation for my business trip The walls were very thin and I woke up many times during my stay in the hotel if somebody banged the door or took a shower
staff were very friendly and helpful especially with our young grandaughter hotel was well situated for access from airport bus stop also for the port as we were going on a cruise ship rooms were very clean great shower and breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice
Location, value for money The attitude of a member of staff in the night at the reception which was extremelly inappropriate
Their buffet breakfast was very good value for money and the bar/cafe is a nice feature I booked to rooms, one of which had a narrow, but long window overlooking the street to the rear of the hotel but the other room had it's window looking directly at another wall of the hotel
There was a bit cld becouse of unsealed windows
location, value for money and excellent staff
The friendlyness of the staff.
Good price offer taking into account the location (pretty close to the old city centre).
The stack of plates at the buffet breakfast were filthy - dried food, particularly large globials of egg, were stuck to the plate. When I pointed it out to a memeber of staff she simply shrugged - and did nothing to replace them.
Because of the excellent location we were able to walk to the beach, the main plaza was very close by, take the train to Benalmadena, take the bus to Torremolinos for Aqualand, visit the old town and cathedral, and enjoy many close by restaurants. The shower was too powerful for the drains to cope with, the water began to fill the shower tray. However the bathroom was excellent for the price and always clean.
