We had an oceanfront room that was big enough to accommodate our needs. My grandchildren and I loved the indoor pool, lazy river, and jacuzzi. The pool and lazy river really were very warm and perfect for having something to do together. The breakfast was just fine, like being at home. The staff was great and very welcoming. The facility is a bit dated and needs some renovations. That didn't change our stay any so it was okay. There are no outlets for charging your devices at the pool area or bathrooms but we made it work.
The location was great and the woman working the front desk was nice. This hotel has no affiliation with the known "Holiday Inn" chain of hotels. How they can call themselves a Holiday Inn is a travesty. Also, I was looking forward to swimming when I checked in only to find out that the pool area was closed for renovations upon my arrival. My room was messy and there was clumps of hair and used tissues on the counter in my bathroom. And there was no food or hotel bar onsite. Lastly, the hotel advertises itself as a 3-star when in reality, it's probably a 1-star.
The location was great; Right on the water and Ocean Boulevard. We were there during spring break and it was very noisy late at night. We could hear the cars, loud radios, yelling until about 3 AM. I would recommend that make sure it's not spring break for college/high school kids when traveling to this location.
The room was clean and staff was friendly Nothing bad to say really, the breakfast offered could of been better. Nothing wrong with it if you like your carbs.
The location was awesome. There was so much nearby and could walk which make the location an A+. The hotel sits right on the beach and all you have to do is walk out which makes going to the beach great. The staff was pleasant to work with and willing to explore questions about bill. The room seemed very small especially the bathroom and the kitchenette which is a nice touch to the room but a little much for that size room. The area for breakfast is extremely small and and tucked away.
Great location, across street from beach access. Waking distance to boardwalk. Cockroaches on walk ways, though didn't see any in room. Parking is tight. Tub didn't drain properly, no wash cloths, just towels.
The beds were comfortable, staff was nice. The wifi was not working, the air conditioner/heater only blew out cold air, so we were freezing both nights. The sheets were too thin. We called the front desk and complained and we were told there was no maintence on the premises to fix the heater so he said that he'd bring us some extra blankets when he had a chance. He was dealing with other issues so we ended up going down and getting them ourselves.
Close proximity to the boardwalk and beach access. Full size refrigerator. Friendly staff. Fairly quiet for being so close to hussle and bussle of Myrtle Beach. Cheap rates in comparison to other hotel/motels in the area. Made for a cheap and relaxing vacation. No ice machine for free guest use. Ice bags were offered for sale but, the bagged iced freezer was unfortunately broken during our stay. Local grocery/convenience store was only on the next street over so the ice crisis was avoided easily. No coffee pot in room... Noticed this online and just brought our own.
Donna at the front desk was wonderful. They are infested with cockroaches and try to tell their customers that they are "palm tree bugs". When i googled a "palm tree bug" it came up as a palmetto bug, in other words a giant American cockroach. Palmetto bug just tends to freak people out less apparently. We were there for a week and seen bugs every night we stayed.
Not a damm thing.
Smelled like a fucking ashtray Smelly
Location is across the street from the beach and an easy walk to the Boardwalk. Condition of the rooms is run down, with poor lighting.
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION NOTHING
It had a beautiful back walkway The room was old. The bathtub was clean but had stains and rust spots. There was no hot water. We slept on top of our sheets.
The location was excellent.
It was affordable, and they gave you lots of pillows, and clean towels daily, vaccummed and cleaned the bathrooms daily too which was a plus. Location! Also our room with a view was on the bottom floor and we had many trees and bushes blocking our view of the ocean. Kind of a waste paying the extra $50 for a view and not really getting one...
Location - on the beach for easy access & also close to shopping, entertainment, & food for walking You get what you pay for - great deal/price, but def a low end hotel. Small bathroom with no counter space, drop ceiling tiles kept falling on us, elevator is rough, bed linens stained -small/limited parking - no place for big SUV to park/turn around
Close proximity to the beach & the boardwalk. Room had a kitchenette, but had no dining table. Not enough room to put your clothes, tiny closet & limited dresser space. There was only 1 tiny wastebasket in the bathroom. If you're preparing meals, there wasn't any place to throw out the extra trash.
Very clean, friendly staff, convenient location. Walking distance to most attractions
Great price great location Rooms were nice and clean with full kitchenette Can be loud in the city at night. Suggest getting a room higher up
The location was great and right across the street from the beach with a beach view. The bed leg was broken and the sink in the bathroom was clogged. We told the front desk and they did not fix either one.
The hotel was on the water only plus. The parking was 2 blocks away. The overall condition of the hotel was bad. Old furniture. water damage on the back wall of room so probably mold. Also seen a few giant roaches. Its not vintage just ran down.
Room wasn't ready. Lights didn't work. Tv was unplugged, cold water only, very outdated, looked trashy because furniture in room was scratched and messed up.
it was ocean front... that's about the only plus side Horribly nasty rooms. My carpet was mysteriously wet the entire time, the appliances are an eye sore, staff doesn't have a dress code, so I thought room service was some thug breaking into my room. Parking looks like an auto salvage lot, and I thought the entire time I was there I'd have someone break into my car. I didn't feel safe at all there. The door to my room didn't even have weather stripping so I had to run the oven fan to drown out noise from the parking lot and street. I'll never stay there again. It looked like the bed sheets and pillow cases had never been washed either.
