The location was great; Right on the water and Ocean Boulevard. We were there during spring break and it was very noisy late at night. We could hear the cars, loud radios, yelling until about 3 AM. I would recommend that make sure it's not spring break for college/high school kids when traveling to this location.
We had an oceanfront room that was big enough to accommodate our needs. My grandchildren and I loved the indoor pool, lazy river, and jacuzzi. The pool and lazy river really were very warm and perfect for having something to do together. The breakfast was just fine, like being at home. The staff was great and very welcoming. The facility is a bit dated and needs some renovations. That didn't change our stay any so it was okay. There are no outlets for charging your devices at the pool area or bathrooms but we made it work.
The location was awesome. There was so much nearby and could walk which make the location an A+. The hotel sits right on the beach and all you have to do is walk out which makes going to the beach great. The staff was pleasant to work with and willing to explore questions about bill. The room seemed very small especially the bathroom and the kitchenette which is a nice touch to the room but a little much for that size room. The area for breakfast is extremely small and and tucked away.
The room was clean and staff was friendly Nothing bad to say really, the breakfast offered could of been better. Nothing wrong with it if you like your carbs.
The location was great and the woman working the front desk was nice. This hotel has no affiliation with the known "Holiday Inn" chain of hotels. How they can call themselves a Holiday Inn is a travesty. Also, I was looking forward to swimming when I checked in only to find out that the pool area was closed for renovations upon my arrival. My room was messy and there was clumps of hair and used tissues on the counter in my bathroom. And there was no food or hotel bar onsite. Lastly, the hotel advertises itself as a 3-star when in reality, it's probably a 1-star.
Our room was very nice and the matress was more comfortable than we expected. We did not have hot water for the first night and next morning that we were there.
The views were the best part. the elevators were a bit slow but for 20 floors I guess thats a norm. I loved that the rooms were seperated and the beds were not right beside each other. I loved it and willl stay there for many years to come
The fact that is was on the beachfront, was great. And that the entire building was glass no matter where you were you always had an outside view of attractions and even the beach depening on your room location. This is a 20 floor hotel with only 2 that's right 2 elevators, which means you will spend quite some time waiting to leave the hotel, It was crazy. Also could been a little more clean found childrens panties behind master bedroom door in neighbor's room, and my pantry was filled with food from previous guest the exp date on items were from 02/2010 yuck, the staff need to check the cabinets each time they clean and behind all doors. :(
I liked the view and location. I liked the easy access to the beach. I did not like the elevators and the delays when trying to check out. It took over 30 minutes to get an elevator to get to the the lobby with all of our luggage. The indoor pool is entirely too small.
The rooms had a view out of this world, and the staff was great. They could up grade their t.v. and get flat screens
The location is top notch. Easy access to beach and other food and activities. Room elevator dirty- roaches in bathroom, sticky sheets, lots of smokers everywhere in hotel, pool.
On the beach Dirty, found several long hairs in the shower. Someone's left overs were still in the refrigerator and it smelled. It took the refrigerator over 24 hours to get cool. No ice in the ice machines (they had two). Out dated. Only one elevator and it was very slow and old. I tried to get my money back, was refused. No internet access even though it was listed as an amenity.
I liked the cleanliness. The onecif the staff member was no friendly...
Heat did not work toilet problems we were ignored because we booked through a travel agency and not hotel
The expedited maintenance service and having a confirmed reservation. Air conditioning was good. Proximity of beach and hotel. Though I was fortunate, there were many people waiting in the lobby whem I arrived to get a room or were complaining about there rooms. One lady was waiting for a room for a over an hour and the gentleman told the lady there were 49 rooms that meedes to cleaned and that it takes awhile....The rooms smelled terrible. I booked 2 identical rooms and both were different from one another. Tvs were dated, bathrooms were too small. There was no shower curtain in the bathroom and a missing light fixture. Maintenance handed me a curtain to put up myself and as far as the light fixture...maintainance told me they are beginning to phase them out of the rooms. Finally parking was very difficult.
I love the how would Der full the maintenance workers were. They were friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything was the best they could for us. The cleaning people were fairly friends day too. It was within walking distance to food and the boardwalk. The beach was clean and enjoyable. You can get free red box videos while staying. The WiFi doesn't work at all. It did t matter where we were we. Old not use the WiFi. Therefore we couldn't do any of the work we needed to do. Since it was advertised it was very aggravating. We had to use our phones as hot spots, using our data or go to Starbucks. This is not convenient when you have work that needs to be done. The rooms are way out of date. Though they were clean, they may have never been upgraded since the building was built. The pool and lazy river were dirty.
Carpet was damp and musty
The location was close to an event I attended. Everything was dirty and outdated. Ocean view is not enjoyable because the balcony is so ghetto looking. This hotel is ghetto.
Great beachfront location. Close to the boardwalk. Exterior of build and grounds well-maintained. Excellent parking. Housekeeping non-existent- our room was never cleaned once during our 4 night stay. Many interior maintenance issues: clogged sink, loose toilet seat, broken shower faucets. Janitorial staff brought dumpsters of trash down in the passenger elevator with the guests onboard - YUCK! People on our floor were taking their own trash out because housekeeping wasn't doing it. In our opinion, with the exception of the pool guy who was amazing, the rest of their housekeeping and maintenance staff should be fired. Also, the wifi was useless. And he cable tv reception was always fuzzy.
We enjoyed the view of the ocean and the quick beach access. We did not enjoy the broken heater/air condition unit. The toilet hose springing a leak and soaking everything. Tv did not work and the hot water in the shower was out for two days.
Nothing. This hotel had no iron or ironing board in the room. You had to put a deposit down to get. It had no coffee like most hotels. It only had a coffee maker. When we got there, the phone didn't work, 3 out of 4 burners on the stove didn't work and the coffee maker was leaking. The pictures on the internet makes the room look great. But they were not. This was a third world hotel. The party I was with had bites all over the body when she woke up in another room. The hotel moved them to another room and said it was bed bugs. The GM was supposed to meet with them and didn't. Then the hotel reversed and said they didn't have bed bugs.
Strong odor of Marijuana, the halls were so hot, we supposedly have a free rental DVD to watch when we got to our room the DVD player didn't even work and the TV was fuzzy. The indoor pool and jacuzzi room had the strongest smell of chlorine. It also said the it was opened from 9am to 10 pm when got there it was about 4pm and the door was closed. Also only one maintenance guy on 2nd shift for 3 buildings.. The FIRST & LAST TIME!!! Never Again!
Close proximity to the beach & the boardwalk. Room had a kitchenette, but had no dining table. Not enough room to put your clothes, tiny closet & limited dresser space. There was only 1 tiny wastebasket in the bathroom. If you're preparing meals, there wasn't any place to throw out the extra trash.
Very clean, friendly staff, convenient location. Walking distance to most attractions
The location was great and right across the street from the beach with a beach view. The bed leg was broken and the sink in the bathroom was clogged. We told the front desk and they did not fix either one.
Great price great location Rooms were nice and clean with full kitchenette Can be loud in the city at night. Suggest getting a room higher up
It was affordable, and they gave you lots of pillows, and clean towels daily, vaccummed and cleaned the bathrooms daily too which was a plus. Location! Also our room with a view was on the bottom floor and we had many trees and bushes blocking our view of the ocean. Kind of a waste paying the extra $50 for a view and not really getting one...
Location - on the beach for easy access & also close to shopping, entertainment, & food for walking You get what you pay for - great deal/price, but def a low end hotel. Small bathroom with no counter space, drop ceiling tiles kept falling on us, elevator is rough, bed linens stained -small/limited parking - no place for big SUV to park/turn around
The location was excellent.
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION NOTHING
It had a beautiful back walkway The room was old. The bathtub was clean but had stains and rust spots. There was no hot water. We slept on top of our sheets.
