Pros: My fiancé and I have stayed here several times. This is our spot. The service and the rooms are 5 stars every time. The spa is also incredible. Every guest is treated as a VIP.
Pros: Very large beautiful room with patio that we read on. Very relaxing.
Pros: The service and atmosphere was excellent. I really appreciate the attention to detail. One of the best places we have ever stayed.

Cons: Just there weren't any restaurants around that stayed open past 10:30
Pros: Breatkfast, Clean room, friendly staff
Cons: - No Sandal available nor even offers in front desk, while they have pool and Jacuzzi.
- Hotel is over priced for what it offers
Pros: Everything! We were expecting such an amazing stay. As soon as we walked in, we were in awe with the modern, yet contemporary feel. The front desk host was also nice as can be.
Pros: The bed was very comfortable, breakfast was very good
Cons: The main entrance and lobby area is under construction this includes the proper restaurant and bar area. We were not aware of this when booking. This made navigating around the place a bit of a challenge, the make shift restaurant bar was in a banquet room. Construction noise carried on even on the Sunday
Pros: rooms felt clean and modern
Cons: No parking

Large king bed
Activities in and around
Near gas lamp District
Cons: Self parking fee - 35 (50 deposit)
Better soundproof doors closer to elevators
Near gas lamp district
Pros: The decor was amazing throughout the hotel. The foyer/lobby was stunning along with the rooms. We stayed in the Harbor Tower on the 23rd floor. The view was spectacular. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The only problem we had was with our TV to where we couldn't order movies one night. The night manager gave us a $100 credit which was very satisfactory. I would definitely stay here again.
Cons: The food at the Market wasn't good. I had a turkey sandwich from the refrigerated section and the bread was very stale. My wife ordered a bagel with cream cheese and she could hardly bite into it.
Pros: We immediately felt welcome as Rob at the front desk gave us information about the facility and its surroundings. He gave us a corner room near the top with spectacular views. We got two beds which is plenty of room for family of four. Inside the room there is is luxurious atmosphere with open space. There is also Keurig with Starbucks coffee. Overall clean and modern, with even electronic shades. I have stayed at plenty of upscale hotels and this is the best by far. The location is the best. I went jogging at the lovely Seaport Village right next to it. The Gaslamp Quarter is also near. Overall an excellent place and we would definitely come back!
Pros: Great location, we had a beautiful view of the water and of the pool area. The pool was very nice as were the hot tubs. The room was very clean and spacious and the staff was very polite. And I did not have to wait long for an elevator.
Cons: The only issue we had was that our parking pass was note coded so we were unable to exit the garage. The staff quickly corrected it thouh.
Pros: View. Room size. Location.
Cons: When I woke up in the AM i noticed my iPhone was covered in dust. I then noticed the desk with my black laptop, across from the air conditioning vent was also covered in dust particles. This is a big deal for me because I have a dust mite allergy, but still have never seen this level of dust collect just overnight. I think the air filter vents in these rooms are very very dirty and just blow dust all night as Long as the AC is running. I was extremely congested all day due to my allergy and had a hard day networking at my convention.
Also, the TV service this day and age is sub-poor. No guide and some of the channels didn't work "no signal".
Pros: Unlimited Access To EVERYTHING FUN
Pros: Everything! Service and location was best
Cons: Dusty room
Pros: The view
Cons: They changed $47 for parking
Cons: Location & price.
Pros: Our checkin was quick and we love the location.
Cons: I expected room to be a little cleaner for what we paid...
Pros: - Great location
- Great drinking & dining options
- Great interior design and decor
Cons: - Loud guests after 10pm
- A little on the expensive side
- Add-on expenses (parking, water, etc)
Prime Waterfront location on San Diego Bay. Offers a resort-like setting with bay view rooms. Five minutes from the airport and walking distance to San Diego Convention Center, Seaport Village, Headquarters and Gaslamp Quarter. Easy access to San Diego Zoo, Sea World and Beaches.
Cons: We booked in advance and were told that the best price was around $258.00 a night,Big Lie. On the day of the trip your site said the rate was $158.00 and the next day it said $148.00. We asked to have our rate adjusted and were told that they had no responsibility as your site collected our money and paid them. Your statement about having the "BEST DEAL" was a total lie. I will never use your service again and I will warn everyone I know about your deception. We were overcharged about a $100.00 a day and stayed at the hotel for five nights YOU OWE US $500.00.
Pros: The desk staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice and clean. Relevant and modern decor. Rooftop bar is nice with a great view into the stadium. Would stay again for sure.
Pros: The staff was very nice and friendly. They wanted to know where we were from and why we were there. As it turned out we told them that we were there celebrating out 44 wedding anniversary. When we got back to the room, after dinner, there was a bottle of wine and 2 lovely glasses waiting for us (compliments of the hotel).
A totally nice stay. We will recommend the hotel if asked. We have already told several people what a great stay we had. The security is very good.
Cons: My wife likes to use the stairs for the exercise. They were meant to be fire escapes and exit outside and require an employ to enter from outside.
Pros: Proximity to downtown SD.
Cons: No pool, no airport shuttle.
Cons: I paid 42$ for valet because i didn't want to walk the 2 blocks away for self parking that cost 30$. It isn't the amount that bothered me the valet scratched my brand new 2016 highlander. None of the valets fessed up and I didn't notice until after i checked out and drove off.
Pros: It was a beautiful, well managed and well located hotel
Cons: I did not like that when I booked it said parking was an amenity. That made it seem like it was included. It would have been helpful to know that it only offered valet parking that is $41/night. That was a big shock when we arrived and a bit upsetting it was not mentioned before we booked
Pros: Beautiful room (upgrade)
Friendly and helpful staff
Cons: Parking is high... better to use taxi/uber
Pros: I love the location! The view was pretty good. Loved the room. I'm a huge fan of Aveda products and for them to have them there, was a huge plus! The friendly staff was great. Always greeting and always smiling. And the price was good. Great place to stay.
Cons: Not a big fan of $40 valet parking. I didn't like that they didn't offer smoking rooms. Also, I didn't like that you couldn't vape up stairs at their rooftop bar. Why we left to another roof top bar that did allow vaping. That was kind of a bummer.
Pros: Clean, great location, nice room and a modern feel.
Cons: Valet is 41 bucks... Give me a break. Parked a block away for $15
Pros: The room and view we're great. Very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable, I took pictures of the label to buy the same mattress for my self.
Cons: The valet parking Was over priced at $41/day. Especially since there is a garage 3 blocks away that is only $15/per day but I had a broken ankle and had to use their valet parking. Most of the time had to wait over 20 min one day they misplaced my car after about 45 min had to go with the valet to find my car in the garage. To the hotel's credit they were very apologetic and comped my valet parking fee for my entire stay so they still have good customer service in my book.
Pros: Very dog friendly, friendly professional staff, comfortable spacious room
Pros: The hotel was clean and modern, what I would expect from a down town hotel. There was advertised parking but it was valet and an extra 40+$. Nothing extravagant, aveda products, ample space, modern touches, restaurant and bar on site. In gaslamp quarter perfect for walking any where. Every thing was clean
Cons: No parking, they have valet. It's 40+$. Views of other buildings, down town standard. Thermostat didn't bother me, but was a bit warm for my partner.
The Hotel Indigo® San Diego Gaslamp Quarter hotel is at one with the neighborhood. Our award-winning green hotel is LEED certified with an eco-roof garden. Our hotel is well known for its warm hospitality and inspired service and is also enthusiastically pet friendly: we even have special packages that include Doggy Daycare.
Pros: best view of san diego bay and waterfront. a coronado island must-stay if you want bay views instead of ocean!
Pros: Location was great- very quiet and right on the water. The rooms were spacious for a family of four.
Cons: The staff was not very informative or helpful. They appeared very lazy and didn't go out of their way at all.

Dine in for the freshest seafood at our restaurant, Current, offering innovative drinks and breathtaking views. Our San Diego luxury resort also boasts breathtaking indoor/outdoor event spaces with over 26,000 square feet for your dream wedding or conference event.
Pros: Stayed in coronado bay view room -- nice view, and quiet/relaxing at night. Pools not crowded.
Cons: Hairy bathrobes left in closet from prior guest; multiple calls to get new robes, and dirty robes not removed (we ended up leaving them outside in the hall). Tiny/claustrophobic shower. Location is ok, but you have to drive to get to a decent beach. Probably not worth $300+/night. Will try the Del next time.
Pros: The staff was very friendly! We loved the shuttle into town and to the beach, great perk! Breakfast from The Market was pretty good and came out quickly. Beds were comfortable. Every room has a balcony which is awesome! We had a couples massage at Sea Spa, I had Nancy who I highly recommend!
Cons: Our TV was broken, which they replaced and credited us a free movie. Bathroom and room in general was a little dirty; looked like something had spilled on the tv stand and wasn't cleaned, hairs in bathroom and in sink. Our view was basically of other balconies and the side parking lot, which was a bummer with paying so much to stay there. The Sea Spa area seemed a little run down. I feel it wasn't worth the money- it was more of a 3.5 star experience when I was expecting a 5 star from Loews.
Pros: We were on out 19th wedding anniversary celebration and we wanted to get away from the city, so decided to go local. Just on the other side of the Coronado bridge we found this nice secluded resort property right on the water. When we checked in, a wonderful receptionist upgraded our room to a suite and we were literally right in front of the bay with a gorgeous view of the city and the bay. Room and the badgering were very spacious in the grand view suite. Extra large tub was very nice. Bed was super comfortable. Resort is pretty spread out, so it didn't feel crowded even in the middle of the Summer. We will bring our whole family here next time.
Cons: Breakfast buffet at Market cafe wasn't that great for $25 per person. Also $29 for self parking. For the money they charged for the room that should be included. Pool area isn't all that grand. Adequate though.
Cons: Our check in was very late
Perched on its own 15-acre peninsula, Loews Coronado Bay is a private oasis of tranquility. This Coronado hotel offers views of the shimmering bay waters and the San Diego skyline.
Pros: Had a great experience - the staff was EXTREMELY friendly and helpful from the moment we checked-in until the moment we checked-out. They even went and grabbed us milk for our toddler after breakfast hours had closed. Room/lobby/cafeteria was very clean.
Cons: Location is close to the south end of Coronado, but otherwise a few minutes (15 - 20) away from the action of San Diego.
Pros:  The Manager is an amazing man! Very kind and friendly. Joked with us and gave us advice as to where to go and hang out. I love Holiday Inn Express hotels, the staff is always awesome and the breakfast was very good! Thanks !
Cons: Nope! Great people! Thanks Carlos for being an incredible person!
Pros: The customer service and mini market in the lobby were exceptional!
Cons: No, you get what you expect with staying at a Holiday Inn, but the level of customer service brought this place way up in my book! It made it feel like you were staying at a much nicer hotel. Kuddos to the staff!! Especially Carlos.
Pros: Fantastic staff! I've never been treated so well by hotel staff. Plus the hotel is so close to the trolley
Pros: Clean interior rooms, friendly helpful staff, decent location (about 20 min.) to Balboa Park, Sea World, and other attractions. Ample parking, even on a holiday, and a well lit parking lot.
Cons: Mini fridge was not working properly, but they did promptly exchange for a working unit. When using the business center to print, the paper jammed in the printer and then the ink was dried up, they did fix it was it was a time consuming hassle.
Pros: Met or exceeded all expectations.
Pros: Close to Sea World and cleanliness.
Pros: The staff was wonderful!  the other female manager were very helpful and welcoming. Room was very clean, beds have both soft and firm pillow which makes getting comfy much easier!
Pros: The room was larger and nicer than described.
Pros: The Front desk Mangager.
Cons: Hmmm...Lobby was a bit small.
Pros: The staff was amazing...very helpful and kind.
Cons: The a/c in the room was the up to par.

Cons: When I called to ask a simple question about the parking. A snobby person answered and it sounded like they were forced to talk to me. He wasn't genuinely friendly and didn't make me feel comfortable to stay at your hotel. You Need to improve on bettering your customer service.
Pros: They went above and beyond when I requested to have a surprise bubbly in the room before we got there.
Cons: No parking lot.
Pros: Very convenient to the Gaslamp Quarter and walking distance to the Convention Center, Navy Pier and the Coronado ferry. Beautiful building and nice updated rooms.
Pros: Great Location, walking distance to the downtown area & and just 15 minute walk to the Coronado ferry!
Pros: Historic charm.
Cons: Quite a bit of street noise gets into room.

Pros: It was so exciting to meet wanderers from all over the world. There are so many stories to be shared and so many opportunities to do so. The Hostel is hospitable and so colorful.
The laundry room was also a big plus!
Pros: The staff is young and enthusiastic, very welcoming. The rules in place make you feel safe and the location is great near downtown and major attractions.
Cons: Could use some cleanup in some areas or air freshener to improve air quality in common areas.
Pros: Not much; it is mediocre
Cons: First of all rude staff (at least one); then other staff not really compatible and/pr knowledgeable (young girls arrived fresh from Brazil and put in charge of reception).
The place is small, not really much of common areas (other than outside); Not very clean; congested bathrooms (upstairs where I stayed there was just one single bathroom for 4 room (that is 24 people...). Very small kitchen and dining room; and no breakfast (other than the instant packet of oatmeal).
For the booking process online I give Zero; it is kind of misleading, in few ways.
Total score - mediocre minus minus.
Pros: Nice, friendly, cozy, positive
Cons: kind of small, rocking bunk beds, short on common areas and kitchen facilities
Pros: Great community of people. There are always fun activities going on every day. You can eat breakfast and dinner there for free! It was by far better than any hotel I've stayed in =) Thank you!

Pros: The room was clean and comfortable. The location for functions at he Convention Center is excellent.
Pros: I liked everything. Great location right in the middle of the Gaslamp Quarter, friendly and helpful staff, downstairs bar, clean and spacious room, nice decor, free wifi, and the mobile check in via text was a cool feature.
Cons: $40 valet is the only parking option offered by the hotel, and although I didn't have a problem with the service, a discount for hotel guests would be nice
Pros: Space, cleanliness and kitchen, will definitely recommend.
Cons: Parking valet is $41, ouch !!!!

Pros: It was a pleasure talking with Bill in the office.
Pros: Bob, a front desk employee, was very friendly and welcoming when checking in.
Pros: Room was clean. Management was polite and helpful
for the most part. Pool and spa were welcome and mostly clean. Close to beach. Beds slept OK.
Cons: Parking was free , but difficult and insufficient. When it filled up on the weekend there weren't enough spaces. Staff said
tough luck , it's the beach on a weekend!
Took the manager & a lot of grief to resolve.
Room amenities were minimal. Bath had sewer smell,
was a step down & hard to negotiate at night.
Lots of road noise.
Pros: Staff was great! Extremely helpful and friendly. 1 minute walk to the boardwalk, great price. Clean, but no hair dryer.
Cons: No bath tub; standing shower only
Pros: Ease of access to beach. Location to just about everything SD and LaJolla has to offer. Especially easy to visit with my son.
This is the third or fourth stay here and for the price I'll continue to stay here.
Cons: When I made the reservation, I know it indicated that the kitchen included. When I got there I was told, reservation for room only and I would have to pay an additional $10/night for the kitchen which I did as having that is important to me. Disappointed.
The Beach Haven is located 1 block from the beach in the Pacific beach area of San Diego. Centrally located to many San Diego attractions, including Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Old Town San Diego and more. Beach Haven features large suites with kitchens, heated pool with spa and A/C. Within walking distance to many restaurants, shops and nightlife.
Cons: The exhaust fan in the bathroom was so loud that it disturbed our sleep even with the door closed.
Pros: The Woodstock suite was awesome the room with balcony was great. The restaurant Mary Janes was very good and Robbie the concierge was very helpful. Fun place to be
Cons: After checking in and not an early check in were were barged in by the cleaning staff. That could have been embarrassing, right! Then I get an email a day after checkout with a 93.00 minibar charge we took 2 waters and two beers, even at crazy assed minibar prices that doesn't add up to 93.00. It is disappointing because we really had a good time and I like the hotel and their staff, but I don't like being screwed!
Cons: Stop charging resort fees. Include microwave and minifridge in each room.
Pros: The room decor and layout was very modern and had a nice feel to it.The staff was very friendly and nothing but helpful when needed. Couldn't have asked for better service.
Cons: The mattress was a bit too soft for my liking. Also the walk in shower looked great and the dual shower heads were nice but it caused large amounts of water to pool up where you're supposed to dry off
Pros: The bed was very comfortable and my view was amazing!
Cons: One of my towels was dirty upon arrival.
Pros: Great location, great staff, clean, funky and fun.
Cons: Rooms are small and water pressure sucks.
Pros: Location is excellent - in the heart of Gaslamp Quarter, actually right next to the Gaslamp sign. Pretty good view depending on where the room is located. Direct exits to 5th Ave, 6th Ave, and L St is a nice added convenience.
Studio King room was great - clean, modern decor, comfortable bedding, great bathroom with rainfall and standard shower head, iPhone 5+ dock, good channel selection on TV.
Lobby and surrounding have nice, clean, modern decor.
Cons: After housekeeping, we found that the original iPhone dock we were provided was switched for a different model. The original one was better for us, as we could directly mount the phone for charging without a cable needed. The newer model required a cable, which we didn't have. Called the desk and they didn't know why it was switched, and said they'd follow up to resolve the issue... they never did.
Overall, staff is not the most helpful.
Pros: Nice Location
Cons: High price
Pros: Fine hotel
Cons: Was charged for a king suite and received a regular room. Haven't received the credit yet.
Pros: Location was great. Right at the start of the Gaslamp District. Walking distance to many great restaurants and bars. Close to the baseball stadium. Staff was friendly and offered good suggestions for dinner. Gym was nice.
Cons: Arrived on the day of a baseball game. Road closures made it difficult to get to the valet drop off point. Valet only. Cannot park your own car. Wish the hotel room was more clean. Lots of items in the room (i.e. Snacks and items for purchase) that hadn't been swapped out in a long time. For a 4 star hotel I expected a little more. Room needed a refresh - signs of wear and tear.
Pros: Tech /music accesbility. Hospitality. Clubs, bars, and restaurant in the building
Cons: Price for parking
This chic, rock 'n' roll-themed hotel is 6 minutes' walk from the lively Gaslamp Quarter and a mile from shopping and eateries in Seaport Village.
Pros: The Andaz is in the ideal location. By car it's a short drive to all the major San Diego attractions and you can walk to dozens of restaurants and bars. Hotel staff was excellent!
Pros: Bed was comfortable, good size room, clean, nice staff, great breakfast at restaurant, good drinks at night!
Cons: Pool area was very cramped...people ended up just laying on towels on the cement...not enough umbrellas
Pros: I love the hotel. Rooms were big & well appointed. There were lots of complimentary options like water, juice, Keurig coffee & tea varieties, wine after 5pm, expresso & treats in lobby, shower, bed, pillows.
Cons: Room service was terrible, my steak was super well done but lots of excellent restaurants near by.
Pros: Great decor,rooms,location and staff.
Pros: Great vibe. Beautiful Hotel. Great staff and service. Loved the rooftop pool.
Cons: A little noisy. The room was on the 5th floor and there was a frequent rumbling sound coming from what sounded like above us. It made it difficult to sleep. I needed ear plugs.
Pros: Gym was ok... pool rooftop wad excellent. Location to convention center was excellent
Cons: No drawers in room
shower was terrible. ...Just a wand...no nozzle above
Pros: Top rate friendly staff. excellent accommodations. centrally located.
Cons: the location, although centrally located was very urban and close to some what appeared to be homeless shelters. I didn't have any problems and it was fine, but I think awareness of surroundings would need to be stressed.

Guests looking to stay active can check out the nearby hiking/biking trails, and free perks include WiFi, wired Internet, and continental breakfast daily between 7:30 AM and 9:30 AM. Pros: The location was amazing. Walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants and just a couple of blocks from the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great value! Would definitely stay here again.
Cons: It would be nice to have a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room.
La Avenida Inn puts you just a 5-minute drive from Coronado Beach and San Diego Coronado Bridge. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool, and hiking/biking trails, surfing/boogie boarding, and segway rentals/tours are nearby. All rooms feature iPod docks and free WiFi.
Pros: Location is excellentl. Amenities of hotel are up to date and staff were helpful and cordial
Cons: Hotel is nearly a hundred years old. Room was on the small side but that is to expected.
Cons: I loved everything
Pros: It's location is perfect. Walking distance to pretty much everything you would want to do downtown; gaslamp, marina, horton plaza, etc. Room was perfect for me and my girlfriend. Staff was very accomodating.
Pros: Nice lobby with friendly staff greeting us upon arrival. Lots of charm with short excerpts posted throughout highlighting the history of the building. Room was comfortable with all needed amenities for a place to stay. The purpose of our stay was the city. This room gave us a comfy pillow top mattress to rest and recharge each night with complimentary water keeping us hydrated. Workout facility was nice and hardly crowded during our stay. No complaints and would gladly stay here again.
Cons: Rooms were small. There was no view including limited sunlight through the window plus the "green" lighting made it so you had to turn every light in the room on when getting ready. Bathroom was small and no vent :-/. Closet didn't open all the way due to being obstructed by the bedside table (again, room was small). I'm being as honest as possible with these negative, but the purpose of the room was met and the pros far exceeded the cons during our stay.
Cons: I was surprised to have to pay a mandatory fee for services that I did not use or want. I thought that was very unfair of the hotel.
Pros: Amazing staff. Overall very nice hotel.
Cons: Dust. This is the the only minus.
Cons: This is by far the worst hotel I've ever been in! The room, (505) was so small that I think they had to build the room around the bed. It was so small that the bathroom had to have a sliding door. I truly don't believe a normal door would be able to open / close. The air conditioning didn't work and the overall area seemed seedy. Numerous bailed bond companies with likely clients in the area. When I asked about the area the clerk advised, "Just stay on Broaday."
Pros: The room was small, but comfortable. It had everything you could want, including a mini frig. The location was great. Within walking, or public transportation, to everything downtown San Diego has to offer.
Cons: The valet parking was expensive.
Pros: The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the bed was comfortable.
Cons: The room was very loud. We were able to hear in the most precise detail what was going on in the room next to us (including our neighbor's conversations and television preferences). We ask to be moved, but the second room was equally as bad.
Pros: Very friendly staff, the location was perfect. Valet parking was great. The room was smaller than expected, but was well equipped.
Pros: Excellent hotel that is well priced and located.
Pros: Nicely restored hotel with character. Restaurant/bar is very good with open, upbeat ambiance. Bed was excellent quality. Room was pleasant. We would stay here again. Easy walking distance to many restaurants and club area as well as to the harbor with the Midway Museum.
Cons: Got in about 9:45 p m and the hotel restaurant had closed early. Although the walk to the restaurant area was easy, there are about three blocks of homeless sleepers which was a bit uncomfortable.

The hotel entrance leads to an intimate seating area that tucks around the lobby's glowing fireplace. The Currant American Brasserie prepares American brasserie-style dishes and serves cocktails indoors or on an al fresco patio. The Sofia Hotel offers a 24-hour business center and function rooms equipped with high-speed Internet access. Wireless Internet access (surcharge) is provided in the lobby. A health club features cardiovascular and weight-training equipment.
This 7-story hotel offers 211 guestrooms equipped with high-speed Internet access for a fee and flat-screen televisions with satellite channels and complimentary ESPN and HBO. Bedding features pillowtop mattresses and white down comforters. Bathrooms include vanities with contemporary ceramic bowls. Rooms include microwave ovens, refrigerators and coffeemakers.
Pros: Hotel is in a great location, bed was nice, as was the decor.
Cons: Last two nights there, the lobby smelled like a stadium bathroom, staff was not helpful upon checking in, the front door to the hotel has to be the most awkward door I have ever seen on a hotel. Also, instead of having an actual door on the bathroom, they have a sliding glass door. Just a word of warning, if you have a knock at the door and someone is in the shower be sure to pull the door closed because you can see straight into the shower from the entryway. That is poor planning and inexperience. I would not stay here again nor recommend to anyone.
Pros: Comfy beds
Pool area is nice
Cons: Unexpected construction noise from the hotel that started before 7am.
Very strange bathroom door
Inconsistent level of service and friendliness raging from super friendly and nice to border-line rude
Pros: Everything offered and available to guests. The rooms are small, but beautiful
Cons: Size of room for price paid
Pros: Had booked a skyline room and upon arrival front desk told us they had overbooked and put us in a huge skyline suite. Courteous staff, awesome room with a great view and walking distance to all the nightlife in gas lamp. Will be coming back soon
Pros: The location to Gas Lamp District was perfect!
Cons: The cost of overnight parking.....
Pros: Staff was very friendly
Cons: Overpriced for what I received.
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: bed uncomfortable, shower rain head, video/TV system slow/
Pros: Comfortable rooms and beds. Super friendly staff.
Pros: The atmosphere was upscale and classy, felt great staying at a great hotel. Room service was a little steep (typical...) but the food was delicious - the staff recommended some foods that were spot on.
Room decor was great, modern and classy. Hardwood floors made it feel a little upscale.
Cons: The bathroom is just a total mess. Shower head position is too low for anyone 5'5" or taller - requiring you to use the head manually (why???).
Bathroom door is a sliding door but doesn't exactly provide too much privacy since you can see through the cracks - perfect angle if you want to watch your friend on the toilet...
Iron was awful - took way too long and was just cheap overall or needed replacing.
Cleanliness was awkward - arrived at the hotel (6pm) and was told our room needs to be cleaned. We arrived in the room, saw the hardwood floors were soaking wet (slipping lawsuit anyone?) and found residual items from the previous guests.
Would be nice to upgrade those 2003 radios to the new iphone 5 or usb players...
Pros: The decor was very modern
Cons: Staff was rude, the room was very small.
Pool was closed for a wedding on Saturday, they told us we could walk six blocks to their sister hotel to swim, not interested.
Wedding party was loud, disruptive.
When we spoke to the manager to express our concern his response was "NO, the noise is not coming from the wedding party on the 4th floor."
We called Kempton Hotels to express our concern, they said a manager would call us back. We did not ever receive a call back.
We will not be staying at a Kempton Hotel in the future
Cons: Many user experience design issues. Rain shower is hard to wash hair in, no ability to angle it at all. No tub and nothing to prop up for to shave legs. No door on shower. Door on bathroom was not a real door and didn't close all the way. Awkward! Certainly not romantic!! Not enough hooks to hang towels. Not enough towels, only gave us 3 for two people. Hairdryer was super cheap, would expect at least a normal one if not a nice one. Nowhere to plug in anything at the desk. Front desk staff seemed very forced/rushed.
Pros: Great help with the dog! We had a great time!
Located in Downtown San Diego, this luxury hotel is within a 15-minute walk of Westfield Horton Plaza, Petco Park, and San Diego Convention Center. Balboa Park is 1.5 mi (2.5 km) away.
Cons: My "server" was in a strange mood. He ignored taking my order 10+ minutes. He didn't fulfill a simple request, place half my order in a box. A fellow server saw his lack of professionalism and actually did his job.
Pros: The staff and location were great. This is a great place to stay out in the Point Loma area, with a great view on either side of the complex and an exceptional staff.
