Great location, kinda away from the craziness of the French Quarter but still within walking distance of the attractions (e.g, aquarium, ferry, Frenchmen St., Bourbon St., etc.). Mall underneath perfect for shopping and. PJ’s coffee stand was convenient. Concierge was informative and gave us plenty of good insider tips on attractions, restaurants and bars.
The hotel was probably nice 15 to 20 years ago, but it definitely needs some renovations now. Everything in the bathroom seemed to be falling apart or already broken. Also fairly unclean floors and dirty spots randomly throughout the room.
They run out of shampoo then run out of toilet paper also our carpet was gross
Pros. Bed was comfortable, location was great! Lobby has beautiful views as well.
Cons. Hotel seems to be in final stages of a renovation, or maybe even the mall it is attached to. There was some construction noise (didn’t bother me, but was worried it would) and could hear all doors in the hallway open and close. Also, the coffee shop in the mall was closed!
