Pros. Comfort, sheets, size
Cons. The art sucked and it hurts the interior design. They do need art but much better.
Pros. Staff Room size Location
Cons. Charge for in room coffee Thread bare towels Uncomfortable and creaky bed Poor response to requests-have to speak to a manager to get things done Offering wine and beer in mini bar but no opener. Took 45 min to get one delivered
Pros. The rooftop pool is worth the stay. Not sure about going there at night but during the day, it's so far my favorite spot in the city :)
Cons. The room itself is fairly standard. The ~$350/night is mostly towards the location and the pool.
Pros. I can't compliment this place enough. My wife and I stayed there the night before our cruise, and once more after our cruise ended. Our second stay was even better than the first. Top notch, friendly staff and a beautiful room. Can't beat that.
Pros. All the staff, from the doormen to the concierge were friendly and helpful. Our room was fantastic, it was spacious and had a very modern, crisp decor. I felt like my wife and I had a nice little apartment in the city for one night. We're going back to New York in a week and we're staying there again.
Cons. I honestly can't say anything too negative. I didn't particularly enjoy spending $350 plus, and it got a little noisy at times but I feel like that comes with the territory when you're in Manhattan. I will say that regardless of where you're staying, $18 for a movie is almost offensive. Why not just charge 2X what it would cost us at home? It would be a nice gesture.
